They took so long to get back to me and when I called they let me know that my insurance denied my claim. I had to do all the work, and then they told me I had to pay out of pocket for the orthotics. Very expensive! So I canceled the order and I'm going to another clinic that actually cares about me and is willing to explain and be proactive about a call back. If I wouldn't have called, they would have not called me back and I would have waisted my time going into a follow up appointment just to let me know that I had been denied. I'm obviously still frustrated with the whole matter. I'm glad to not go there ever again.

I use a walker, and they prop open the door for me to get in. I have a brain injury, so my dates for appointments get mixed up in my head. The front desk let me know that I did come in on the wrong day, but went out of their way and asked the person would be able to see me. They made time just so that I would be able to receive, my much needed knee braces, that they remeasured, from the other fountain orthotics mistake. I was fitted and adjustments were made to have the braces fit me comfortably. I was pleased with the relief from the pain pressure was causing. Again, I started to the front desk to sign a few papers. Once that was completed, I walked straight out the door. As I turned back I noticed the door was once again opened so I didn't have to try juggling my walker and opening the door myself.

Noguez, was patient and thorough in examination as well as suggesting styles that would assist my mobility. Having a 90 day return policy was also helpful to know, which I had not expected. The staff was efficient and thoroughly informed me of appointments and procedures, advising me of the cost of the service which had not been approved by my medical plan. No surprises: all clearly explained. Great service and convenient location by St. Mary's Hospital.

Daniel went over the timeline expected for the prosthesis process. He was extremely patient and thorough, going over the stump prep, molding, testing, fitting, refitting and medi-Cal insurance coverage and secondary insurance coverage with which pertains to my elderly father. Also note that the type of prosthesis necessary depends on lifestyle. I'd also point out that having a lighter prosthesis doesn't mean it's better. Like a good kitchen knife, it should have some weight to it. I had a wonderful time asking a million questions away to Daniel. There were two handicap spots in front of WaBa Grill. Quick tip: don't eat at the WaBa Grill next door. Save yourself and go to Tender Greens instead for the same type of food. I'll update this later as with progress on the prosthesis.

When I arrived at the office I found it clean and decorated in a calming manner. Nancy greeted me with a smile and she was the one to help me through my fitting. She was very kind and patient.
