Beautiful plants, I'm impressed. Also her edibles are really good and tasty, they can be made vegan.

1 of 6 clones died and the remaining had spider mite eggs all over the bottom of leaves. Spend your money elsewhere.

I had a reservation at the Farmhouse restaurant, but arrived early and decided to explore a shop I noticed near the side entrance. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like being transported somewhere magical. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. The boutique shops lean toward the high end, offering everything from home décor and art to unique jewelry. As you wander through, you're surrounded by lush greenery--the central garden and nursery are filled with a stunning variety of outdoor plants. Along one side, you'll find thoughtfully arranged merchandise, from seeds to greeting cards and gift packaging, with a charming pottery section tucked at the very end. Upstairs, there's a lovely deck featuring patio furniture and hanging plants, perfect for inspiration. The pathway leading to the restaurant is especially memorable, with a series of archways that add to the enchanting, almost storybook-like feel. It's also a peaceful haven for wildlife--I spotted sparrows, hummingbirds, and bumblebees throughout the space, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking is easy, with plenty of free spaces available. A beautiful spot to stroll, shop, and dine--all in one place.

Their parking lot is in the small side, but street parking is available. The front of the building looks like an unorganized version of Armstrong Garden Center as one side is lined with various empty pots and a pallet of their house bagged, special soil blend (I learned from another customer that this soil is one of the things LHN is known for). Once you move past that side things make a big jump for the better as you are faces with beautiful, healthy, mesmerizing dahlias. All sorts of vibrant colors and some of the flowers are the size of dessert/salad plates ~ truly stunning!! Once I tore myself away from these beauties, I made my way inside to the house plant section. Here I found some of the common items like spider plants, Boston ferns, and pothos, but also some beautiful, more unique plants plants such as the monstera Thai constellation, mini snow bush, pink variegated string of hearts, and angel wing begonias. All of the plants were full and healthy! I wanted them all, but house plants have become pricey and especially so for the uncommon ones, so I brought 2 home and I'll just need to come back for a few of the others I have my eye on. The mini snow bush I was unfamiliar with, so I asked the workers at the register for care instructions. They were very kind and knowledgable and gave me confidence to properly care for my newest treasures.

It is a family owned business, and the staff is always kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We especially come at the start of spring to pick up pepper plants (specifically the Calabrian chili pepper plants) as well as strawberry bare roots and herbs. One year we asked about the Calabrian chili plants because we did not see them in stock, and they actually called us later to let us know they were able to get some in. We have also ordered our jujube and apple trees here, along with several other fruit trees for my in laws. Another thing we really appreciate is their willingness to hold plants for you if you call ahead and let them know when you are coming. The parking lot is small but never had an issue with parking.
