Cutest daisies

I absolutely love this nursery. I've gotten jasmine, rose bushes, San Gabriel daisies, African daisies, etc etc. Such competitive pricing that is so affordable they're in their own category. I have to be pulled by my husband to stop when I am here. Informative associates. I am so happy I stopped by!!! New plants every week.. awesome place

Customer service on point. Found 2 houseplants. Great value for plants. Plants look healthy. Lots of options for outdoor plants too.

Very helpful and answered all of my questions since I was buying a tree for someone else and don't have a green thumb myself! Purchased a loquat tree and had a lot to choose from! So far, the tree is doing well at home.

Topiaries

Never posted this review from my purchase a year ago, but bought the elephant topiary as a gift. Was very decently priced, I was so happy with their quality and selection. Family owned, and you can tell how much they love doing this. They offered if I ever saw a plant or item they were missing, they could order it for me. Extremely friendly and I highly recommend. Especially supporting family owned business and community. My mom loved their elephant and a year later it's held up very very well!

I have had nothing but amazing experiences from this family owned Nursery. I cannot wait to keep going back, although my yard square footage isn't growing anytime soon lol. I've been lucky to purchase wonderful fruit trees and flowers from them such as Papaya tree, Manila Mango, Passion fruit, Sir Prize Avocado, Thompson Grave Vine, and a Mexican Guava. Every transaction and visit to the nursery was amazing, easy, and stress free. The quality of service that Alex provides is unmatched at any other nursery. They sell their trees and plants at wholesale pricing which is UNBEATABLE! I had one small issue with the Guava tree and Alex worked with me on trying to fix it. It was a bit too far gone for the tree but Alex acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it with a replacement/credit. The customer service is A++ I won't be going anywhere else.

Amazing and extremely affordable! I recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking to purchase plants indoors or out! Alex is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. I enjoy checking in every other week just to see what new items they have in stock!

This small nursery is a needed addition to our local area in Huntington Beach. I'm glad they had fertilizers with microbes at a very reasonable price. Some of the standout plants I saw today were one gallon purple Heliotrope from which perfume used to be made in the old west, small one gallon succulents, Patio tree Dodonea or purple hopseed bush, Variegated leaf Brazilian Sky Flower and nice five gallon Lauris Nobilis or simply the bay leaf you use in your spaghetti sauce. I'm guessing you can affordably order other plants not in stock. I would box two favorites of mine. A weeping blue string leaf Acacia Stenophylla and the Catalina Ironwood small tree with a very distinctive leaf and brown flaking trunk with smooth red wood beneath Lyonothamnus. I would box a couple of various white birch multi trunk and a few Crepe Myrtle dark and light pink flower in the Indian name series for hardiness. I would put in big tubs a few Blue Triangle Palms that have three blue trunk sides and green leaves and a few King Palms which grow slower than Queen Palms and have a more distinctive look.

My boyfriend needed some soil for his outdoor plants and found this local nursery nearby. The nursery has a good selection of houseplants, succulents, vegetable plants, and organic soil! I was interested in the tomato plants and they were very nice about answering questions on how to take care of them. They recommended the organic indoor houseplant soil (for my current houseplants) and tomato fertilizer for my new tomato plant. They were very friendly and knowledgable about plants and gardening. They also offered to help if I ever had any issues with the tomato plant since I'm a beginner with growing vegetables. It was a really nice visit and I hope to visit again soon for my gardening needs. :) Thank you!

New planters filled in nicely.

Nothing too crazy. Lots of small succulents at decent prices. Low supply on pots which is what I needed. Nice guy gave me space to wander.

A business that is not self-evident as a nursery, I drove right past Heavenly Vintage Nursery. The fence did have lovely flowering vines and there were drought tolerant plants along the street, I was looking for a nursery and didn't connect my expectation to the actual business. It's more vintage than nursery. They have gobs of old things and old things holding plants. In all honesty, I was shocked at the limited plant offerings, they had a reasonable grouping of small succulents but I don't recall seeing normal nursery options. Rather scant selection of flowering plants and shrubs my mother in law picked up a wee succulent and the price was reasonable. A few items had prices. It was like a garage sale in that you had to ask about each item individually. I felt somewhat panicked at the chaotic layout and setting. I had a strong urge to leave. I'm sooo disappointed and will not return.

My boyfriend found Van's Nursery when he was researching so we decided to check them out since they seem to have a vast variety of fruit trees in their inventory. When we arrived, we were in awe because the nursery looked like a jungle. They had so many different varieties of fruit trees from Mangos (a huge selection of different kinds) Cherimoya, Red Atemoya, Longan, Hosui Asian Pear, Pakistani rare white and red mulberry, different varieties of guavas, wax apples, peach, nectarine, plus so many more I can't possibly list all of them. You'll have to check it out in person. We can't believe how lush and beautiful this nursery is. We felt like we were transported into a jungle at times. We had to brace ourselves to enter certain sections of the nursery because it was so dense with trees. They take really good care of the trees and plants because everything at the nursery was thriving. We loved the Rooster that was roaming freely and they have a pet cat there as well. Mrs. Van and her brother-in-law were there on Sunday and they are two of the nicest people. Mr. Van's brother was super nice and helpful and Mrs. Van was so kind and generous. She recommended her favorite guava tree to us and even took us to the tree she keeps for herself at the nursery to have us try the fruit and it was AMAZING!! They gave us a great deal on all the trees we bought. We got a Valencia Pride Mango tree, guava tree (we went with the one Mrs. Van recommended) Pakistani Mulberry tree, Hosui Asian Pear. They gifted us a Papaya tree since we bought 4 trees at the nursery. It was a very kind and generous gift. In addition, she gave us a bunch of ruby guavas to take home. They do have delivery service since all the trees were too big and wouldn't fit in our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Mr. Van's brother delivered it the same day to our door. The price of all their trees, plants, and herbs are fair and reasonable. We know because we visited 5 nurseries before coming to Van's Nursery. I read some negative reviews about rudeness and only catering to Vietnamese people which is totally untrue. Yes, English is their second language but with patience we were able to communicate. So if a little language barrier is the reason you leave a negative review then please go elsewhere. We definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for amazing exotic trees. We will be coming here to get more trees. Thank you Mrs. Van and Mr. Van's brother we appreciate everything.

As some mentioned, they are very rude. They don't speak English either. I guess they only target…read moretheir own people as their customers.
