Beautiful plants!!!! Her selections are always awesome. I was looking for a candy jade and she had them. So of course I had to buy 2 of them. They are very rare and hard to find! And I had to buy this gorgeous huge cacti!!! This is very rare but her price was so good They all arrived safely in East Coast

Not sure why she has so many negative reviews. Honestly she's the only person who has these rare plants at that price point. Just know you are getting an imported plant as it is hard to get it in the US. It's been in a box in the dark, it needs time to adjust and when you bring it home, it needs to adjust again. Please do your research on what potting medium, sun requirement, and type of care your plant needs. You should also consider if the plant is in its dormancy period of the year. While some things a hundred or couole hundreds of dollars it's because it's hard to come by. For instance $100 cluster of aeoniun of Mimis has probably 20 to 30 heads. People sell cuttings of the same plant for $10 to $30 a head, it also takes 2 or more years to grow from a single stem to cluster. Yes I've killed an echeveria compton coursel but that species is one of the hardest echeverias to care for and I left it in a place where it was not shaded. I bought from her 2 years ago when still learning to care for succulents, 2 years later all of the other things I have bought have grown well and adapted. If you are new to this, I suggest you ask her for plants that are easy to take care of.

AVOID this store at all cost! Don't be fooled by the 5 stars given by clueless people who were most likely incentivized by store owner to post favorable reviews. Let me tell you why you should skip this store: 1. Mimi is a good salesperson. She will use every tactic in the book to sell and up sell you with her plants and pots. Do not get scammed by her methods. Exercise restraint and caution or better yet AVOID this nursery if you don't want to lose your hard earned dollars! She will push rootless plants that are either dead or dying and sell them to you for high profit. She will not care and will not refund you. 2. Do not be fooled by the name nursery. It isn't. All of the plants sold here are not home grown. They're imported from all over the world and have NOT been acclimated. The plants are either rootless or barely have any. They will NOT survive or if they do, they have very minimal survival rate even with roots! 3. The store's profit margin is exponential given the high risk of plants dying! Don't be a victim. Stay away from this enterprise. I've learned the hard way and lost thousands of dollars and she will not refund me or give me a discount. I will post several photos. Take a look at the pictures. I made every effort to take care of her plants. My other rare cactus bought from reputable sellers are thriving and doing fantastic but not Mimi's. I am extremely disappointed and outright upset with the store owner's unscrupulous business practices. Don't be fooled like me. I've learned an expensive lesson. Don't be a victim.

I ordered a euphorbia and received it on 07/12/2024. A few days later, I noticed the entire thing was rotting. Rot does not happen overnight, this was a bad plant that was sold to me. It was shown in a pot, and shipping said bare root but when it came it was not rooted at all. I contacted her on 7/19/2024 but she has a 3 day return policy, which is convenient for her given that she sells rotting plants. She was combative and rude when I contacted her asking for a replacement or refund and cited happy past customers. There are plenty of reputable importers, this is not one of them. Edit - I have also attached the message she sent me after reading this.

This is my absolute favorite nursery. It's so sad that people are giving one star reviews because they didn't do their own research or expect to be pampered by the staff. They're busy people lol anytime I've had a question, I ask and they're very polite and super excited to talk about a plant. Also, for those who are upset about your plants not having roots and inevitabley kill their new plant are at fault. You should know what you're paying for and if youre unfamiliar with a plant, it's your own responsibility to do your research or even just ask the staff members. They're very happy to help and are completely transparent that their imported plants have no roots if that's the case but they're not going to assume every customer needs help unless they ask for it lol All I can really say is the prices are more than fair for the beautiful plants, the way staff put together plant arrangements is gorgeous, and I absolutely love their selection of pots!

I've been coming to Mimi Nursery for about 6 months. I have to say She offers the best quality imported cactus and succulents in Orange County (OC). Her price are cheaper and fair compare to most Nurseries that I have been to. That's why I keep coming back to this nursery. I recently bought a variegated Haworthia for $35 from Mimi Nursery where others online like Etsy or Rare Succulent sells for $50. So her price are cheaper than most vendors, just trust me! You don't need to shop a round anywhere else. This is the place for succulent & cactus addicts. She also has large selection of pots starting from $5 and up. One stop shop! Thanks Mimi Nursery for offering the best quality of cactus & succulents.

A positive of this place is the vast collection of cool succulents they have. They also have rare indoor plants. However, the price is pretty steep. So I was excited to find out they have an affordable variegated Haworthia. To my dismay, there were no roots at all. I reached out to the owner but she said "of course there are no roots because they're imported." How am I supposed to know that? Even then, the plant wasn't properly potted at all. It was simply sitting on lava rock. It wasn't even touching the soil. I'm glad I checked and was able to repot properly. I would have been more forgiving if 1. They had a disclaimer that some plants are not rooted yet. 2. If they knew how to properly repot. 3. More understanding of why I was upset instead of making it seem like I should have known. Either way, they have cool, overpriced plants. If you have the budget, go for it. Just make sure they are actually rooted.

I love coming to this nursery! Mimi is the friendliest and so easy to talk to The variety of succulents/cactus in this nursery is endless. Thank you Mimi for providing some of the best imports and always allowing me to add to my plant collection.

My first review would have to be for MiMi. Reading all the reviews on this nursery I realize that these negative reviewers are most likely use to Home Depot succulent and prices. There is a correlation between rarity and higher prices. Doesn't seem like most negative reviewers understand that. I believe these prices are reasonably lower than most places if you can even find the rare plants elsewhere. As for shopping experience once I walked thru front door I was in a smaller room and was greeted. The room contained rare indoor plants. My first thought was "Is this it?" until I walked to the backyard and was amazed at how big the backyard was with rare succulents. It's true a lot of plants weren't labeled with names, prices and scattered around but the staff was sure to assist and answer questions. I love thrift shopping so having plants scattered to me wasn't a problem. Only problem I had was not having enough hands to hold all the pots but sure enough the older gentleman can with a box for me. All the plants that I saw were healthy. I came with a purpose of buying Dioscorea Elephantipes and was delighted to see they still had a good amount left and at a very reasonable price so I bought more. All were super healthy and caudex forming already. I was kind of overwhelmed by all the rare plants so I will for sure be coming back to buy more. Thank you Mimi and staff.

It is called that because of the shape of the 3 "berries" where they form a V shape and will turn black forming the ears and nose (Not edible) I think it is a plant from Vietnam. Emily's has a large collection of very healthy looking fruit bearing plants. I fell in love with the mango and peach trees. The issue is that very few plants were labeled. They had hundreds of options, so it was like a guessing game to figure out what we were looking at. There was also no pricing listed for the plants available. While I could look past the lack of labels, I was pretty underwhelmed by the customer service at this nursery. The two women onsite wanted nothing to do with us. They never approached us throughout our search, seemed irritated by our price inquiries, and even refused to make a card purchase for a smaller item - after telling us they accept both cash and card. I left a little irked, but luckily there are so many beautiful outdoor plant stores nearby. Wouldn't recommend visiting unless you're a plant expert that can decipher 300+ species of fruit trees with no labels.

When planting into the ground, to our dismay, there was rubbish all throughout the pot... so we had to wash off all the contaminated soil and plant it bareroot. Absolutely disgusting they grow their plants with toxic plastic mixed in! They probably get free compost from the city dumps or God knows. The soil was also full of artificial fertilizer pellets which likely contain plastic polymers. I contacted them and they offered a replacement - but, whats the point of that if their other plants are grown the same way. It was too much for me to drive back and deal with that, and I'd set a time to get this job done. Was a little in touch by text with them, they didn't offer any form of refund or discount for the crappy soil condition they sold it in or the trouble to remove it, just the message: "Good luck with the bare root." Also, the tree's root system was actually quite small, a 3-5 gallon pot would have been more than adequate vs a half-filled 15 gallon pot. All in all, way overpriced for this poor quality and hassle. 2 stars instead of 1 simply because it's difficult to find some of these tropical fruit trees and the Vietnamese ladies here were friendly in person. ‍ Hopefully the tree survives the transplant shock, if it doesn't, we will fight for a full refund.
