This shop is filled with what I can only describe as man-cave oddities including specialty cutlery, metal models and just an array of things you don't see everyday, as well as some provisions e.g. unique coffee blends. It's not a shop that I could spend hours exploring but it definitely captured my interest long enough to look at all their offerings. There is a lot of inventory in a relatively small space. The store is very organized and the staff if very friendly so if you do visit there's no need leaving without having all your questions answered...

I was at this awesome little shop this last Saturday, 4/22- fantastic inventory for a smaller shop. There are a few shops in the area with knife selection but they're utterly inferior (but fun to check out) compared to this shop. The one thing that showed me that this shop even existed was the awesome sign that says something along the lines of, "manly toys, manly hobbies"- I had to drop in to see if the sign lived up to its claim. As I've said, I was very impressed with the offerings they've got at this shop. Wasn't just that though- both of the employees on shift were absolutely top-notch. One of them was working on a tool or busy with something iirc but when I walked by him he greeted me and told me to please let him know if there's anything he can help me with. A few minutes later I took him up on it and asked if I could take a closer look at a nice camo para 2 I had my eye on. He dropped what he was doing and said, "oh absolutely brother, no trouble at all". Love the attitude. We chatted for a good 5-10 min, the guy is super knowledgeable.. steels/general metallurgy, guns, actions, history, etc.- the guy knew darn near everything. I forgot to ask his name but he's the guy who had a grandpa who worked on design for one of the big firearm manufacturers back in the day. I had just finished eating a big meal so I was a little sleepy- wish I remembered which manufacturer as that would help identify the guy (he and I were looking at one of the bright yellow serrated H2 knives that had a depressed glass-breaker at the butt of the knife's handle- we were both confused as neither of us had ever seen that mechanism in a knife before. It pops out when you squeeze the handle with the blade closed). He was great- best interaction I've had with an employee/salesperson in a good while- he definitely belongs in sales/customer service as he was warm, welcoming, very knowledgeable, conversational, etc. I genuinely enjoyed conversing with him and will definitely be back to this shop primarily because of him (it's hard to find good help nowadays- someone who actually cares about something other than tiktok, especially in the younger generations... I should know as I'm a part of those younger gens) but also because of the solid product selection. Anyway, there was a skinnier gentleman working behind the counter as well- he was great and very helpful. TL;DR : Come visit this shop- I promise you will absolutely not regret it! Great selection (Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Microtech, CRKT, etc), great staff, and solid location. I'll be back very soon! The only thing I'd like to see different is for them to start carrying Zero Tolerance. They're absolutely fantastic knives, rock-solid and they use great steels.

Unsure if photos truly show damage if belt, but the following is the explanation: my mother…read morepurchased a belt with excitement of finding a leather shop. First of all, at last second Dan up-charged 125 for the belt saying that the belt is alligator (I don't know about leather so I can't confirm or deny this) though every price post displayed in the store state belts being 75. My mother still had excitement about the product, so we took his word for reasoning of up-charge. The tip of the belt was slightly unglued so he glued it before measuring belt holes for size. Stated to check back in at the store after walking around if belt didn't dry properly. Belt didn't dry properly and, in fact, the once black tip ended up discolored post glue drying. On our way back, upon further inspection belt seems to be "chewed up". When we showed up back at the store Dan was gone, and gentlemen he shares storefront with, Jon, said to take it up with Dan. Dan, though, knew we were leaving that afternoon, so it was a bit frustrating that he left shop early and we were leaving out of town with a bad product. And to add to the situation, receipt shows Jon's storefront information, so even more frustrating that he claimed he couldn't help. Dan had also said we could call him, so okay, we tried, and phone number went straight to voicemail with a message that stated "I no longer accept calls because there's too many soliciting calls". Well. Very unfortunate we couldn't get this resolved while in town and it seems we won't be able to via phone. More due diligence could have been done on our part of course, but that doesn't exclude a bad product and bad service. Oh yeah, and all this doesn't even include when he asked my age and when I said 30 he made some comment about wanting to "adopt me" yikes. People wonder where all these old school craftsmen stores have gone? Well, sorry but I'd rather purchase from Amazon where I can return something with certainty and not get an inappropriate comment from a man 3x my age. ‍

They have various types of jewelry that are replicas of famous actresses and even replicas of some Tiffany pieces. Some of the gemstones are real, some are not, it just depends on the piece. Some of the jewelry is sterling silver and other pieces are sterling silver plated over rhodium (primarily the rings). I'm not very fond of the pieces that are plated over rhodium because I know it will wear off and turn over time. However, I am quite fond of sterling silver... especially sterling silver earrings. They have quite the selection of sterling silver earrings and the day I was here they happened to having a sale on them and they were all half price. I picked up two lovely pairs of sterling silver earrings for a total (with tax) of $46 and change. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/filthy-rich-st-augustine?select=_yGnLF_1dqmg9PrFpXHVRA#cKAV95eMcf0zm-fEgSfFVQ & http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/filthy-rich-st-augustine?select=_yGnLF_1dqmg9PrFpXHVRA#MagotC9pnP7kd8dK_Ozd-A I am quite pleased with my purchases! My friend also picked up a ring and a sterling silver replica Tiffany bracelet. The difference I noticed was the weight was much lighter than an actual Tiffany piece. I wear a sterling silver Tiffany ring which is square and they had a square replica Tiffany ring which I looked at. My actual Tiffany ring was much heavier than the replica. But, if you want to wear a piece that looks like Tiffany but can't afford Tiffany prices, this is the place to come. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. I will definitely return here again for more sterling silver earrings.
