He explained that there were certain things she had to do before we could move forward and schedule the extractions. The front desk staff, Shannon specifically, was also phenomenal. From the moment I called to place the appointment and asked her many questions, to when we arrived, and she helped get us checked in and settled, she was great. Very friendly and personable, but also very knowledgeable and professional. This dentist is obviously very popular based on the amount of people that were there. However, even though he was running behind, the staff kept us informed and were still very efficient. But despite that, he did not rush us, and he answered all of our questions. If you need to have any teeth extracted, and you find him on your own or get a referral, I would not hesitate to reach out because it was a very positive experience, and we definitely feel more comfortable about returning when my mother is ready to have her teeth extracted.

The examination itself felt very rushed. The doctor briefly looked at my upper right tooth using a tongue depressor and spent about 5 minutes discussing possible extractions. Normally, a dental mirror is used for proper examination of teeth, so the lack of a proper instrument was concerning. I also requested an evaluation of tooth #13 (upper left), and I was told it would be included in the report. The entire visit lasted about 10 minutes. They told me that the treatment plan would be sent later that same day.They told me that the treatment plan would be sent later that same day. Afterwards, I had to follow up multiple times over 5 days to receive the treatment plan. When it was finally sent, even the tooth numbers were incorrect. In particular, for tooth #13, the doctor had clearly stated in person that the condition was very poor, not salvageable, and required extraction. However, in the report this was reduced to a mild statement such as: "the patient reports intermittent symptoms of discomfort associated with tooth #13." Overall, the experience was rushed, poorly documented, and disappointing due to a lack of attention to detail and communication.

Last week I decided to use my trusty yelp to help me in ways that google wasn't and this handsome dentist came across my screen. Good looking dentist doesn't mean good care but, I thought I would give the website a look, as well as read what my fellow Yelpers had to say. Upon first contact with the office, the front desk was so friendly and helpful. A patient canceled and I was able to get in a couple of days after my call to the office. Office was clean, modern, and welcoming. I did not have a long wait and if I printed out the paperwork at home and filled it out before coming in, my very short wait would have been shorter. Stephanie, the dental Hygienist was both warm and informative. She wasn't afraid to tell me what I needed to hear and also answer any questions that I had. She walked me through every step of my x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Russel was so great. He walked me through the steps of my following visits and addressed my concerns. I'm happy to say that I have found a place to call home.

This caused a lot of anxiety and hadn't been to the back to the dentist since until today. As for the 5-6 others, it has been 8yrs, I finally just went back. I have only 1 small cavity now that just started to form. Get a copy of your X rays and get a second opinion. There are online services that do that now. To start, EVERY TIME I went in, they recommend getting a night guard with long description why (EVERY TIME, even though I said no EACH TIME....same to my husband too. They recommended a filling on my 12-year-old daughter's Baby Tooth cavity (which was not in critical shape), the tooth fell out 2 weeks later (thank goodness I went with my gut). My friend who has NEVER had a cavity her whole life, had to get a filling at THIS office. They recommended my husband get a filling the next visit, (spoiler alert, our new dentist, didn't see a problem with that tooth.) Final straw, they recommended I get a crown on a tooth that was not hurting, and I could not see what they were talking about on the Xray, which would cost me over $500. Done! Found a new dentist. My new dentist DID NOT recommend a crown, they replaced the filling and I still have my $500. (FYI, new dentist does not recommend a night guard to either of us).
