The "suite" life at a San Francisco Giants game SF Big thanks to my J for the suite box tickets--right behind home plate. Doesn't get better than that view. Catered and ordered food = meh...

Came mid week against the Padres, thought it was going to be a fairly empty stadium considering time of the day and year. I was wrong, there was a ton of schools visting the same day. Surprisingly it was a nice sunny day with a slight breeze. Had a great time, only con is the age limit on the slide lol.... I was hoping to go down.

I don't love baseball, it is not my favorite thing, but my grandson does as does his dad. Whenever we can we skip Dodger Stadium (which is good, not great) and head off on a 5 hour drive to Oracle Park. Now, you can fly in and public transportation is so easy. If you live nearby you can walk to it from Market Street. This park is just perfect for a game. The prices are fair and the seats are nice. And it matters not if you get the cheap seats. They have screens and you will be able to see and hear from any seat. The people that work there are great. They are helpful and if you need help, they are there for you. The best thing about Oracle is their food. We don't have dinner first, we eat there. They have everything, from what you would expect at any ball game to some of the close to or at fine dinning food. They have a crab sandwich that will make your day and their garlic fries are perfect. They have all sorts of food and we have never had a bad meal there. I think they have a newer chef because they have added, I think a couple of things that you just want. It is the best stadium food we have ever had. It is worth the drive or however you get there. You will love this place. They also have great concerts and again, the food. Just eat there.

What a park! It's huge, lots of food options, and best of all, great customer service from the folks working there. From the time we walked in, to the time we left, each interaction with staff was above and beyond. Special shoutout to John from Guest Services--I thought I'd lost my brand new prescription glasses (thankfully, I had just forgot I left them back at the hotel). He was empathetic, kind, helpful, and truly cared. I was one in many a thousand people there and I'm sure he deals with lost items all the time, but I felt he cared about me and my situation individually, and it meant so much to me. Thank you John for being exceptional, and making my experience exceptional. And thanks everyone else...Oracle Park made a big fan out of me!

Such a beautiful place for friends and family even though it's expensiveeeeeeeeeee. Great nearby parks and eateries that are world class and not to be missed. Great concierge help once inside (no one outside knows the operations of where and how to print tickets, or receive handicap assistance. Ask and you will get 100 of varying answers that lead you no where but lost time. Crab sandwich? Idk what the hype is all about and the crazy lines. However there is one stand in every floor for you to get your hands on one.

If you've been to a baseball game in the US, then Oracle Park, home to the Giants, might look familiar to you. It's a lovely but soulless simulacrum of designs sold all over America by Kansas City-based architects Populous, including ballparks housing teams including the San Diego Padres; Miami Marlins; NY Yankees; Baltimore Orioles; Atlanta Braves; Toronto Blue Jays; KC Royals; Pittsburgh Pirates; NY Mets; Minnesota Twins; and Washington Nationals. Fans can argue the importance of this observation, but they can't dispute the similarities among those facilities, and, for my money, professional baseball has done fans a disservice by displaying their show in cookie-cutter stadiums. The art of the game used to extend to the look and feel of the buildings in which it was presented, but, with a few exceptions (Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, hell, even Dodger Stadium), those days are gone. Nonetheless, baseball is still fun to watch, and at Oracle Park, we've sat in a suite and along the third-base line, and honestly, the suites, while quite comfortable and somewhat luxurious, aren't the best seats in the house. Closer is better, and Club Level 222 provided us with a better view of the game. I'm a Phillies fan, so the San Francisco Giants are nominal rivals because they play in our (National) league, but we don't see them often, maybe 6 times a year and potentially more in the playoffs. This lets me be ok with them winning, which is fun, because Giants fans (like Cubs fans) are good people, so I enjoy visiting them in their home environment.

I like being able to get to see the Giants play and the location of our seats are great. We can see all angles.

Opening day with great weather. Still a beautiful ball park. It's been a minute since my last game here what has the Governor of California done so many business in the area are now closed around the park restaurants, breweries, and gift shops OMG so sad. Enough of that I'm here for the game and great weather Go Giants let's get it. 3.25.26

Very nice facility. Crowds everywhere all the time. Men's restroom was large. Wear your walking shoes! There's lots to explore!

Beautiful park. Easy in and out as love as you take public transportation to and from. Food looked great and priced fair. Fans were so so kind of quiet compared to other places I've been.

Oracle Park is so lovely! The pretzel with cheese sauce is THE BEST! But the loud tech bros behind me were really loud and wouldn't SHUT UP! 10/10 experience (don't let bros in next time)

I'm not a huge baseball fan, but my husband and son are big time into baseball . I tagged along to a Saturday game. We brought some food in, but can never resist the garlic fries. Yum! The game was fun, but I love people watching. Everybody is so happy and the Park is absolutely beautiful. Excited for more games to come. Go Giants.

I've been coming here for years, love to watch the Giants games with my besties, always a great time. Stop at their restaurant, which by the way has the bomb Carnita nachos, good drinks, great beer, and you can even buy some sparkling. Of course, they have lots of Giants gear and souvenirs. Lots of great spots to grab something delicious and bring it back to your seat. Everything here is excellent, a little pricey, but oh so perfect. Goooooo Giants Cheers, my friends SYOY 11/23/25

Likely limited. Your best bet is to start off with calling the ticket office at Oracle Park directly (415-972-2209) and asking the rep. If they're sold out, you would have to check third party ticket sellers (StubHub, TickPick, Gametime, etc) for… Read more

"Kezar Stadium" is usually not brought up in conversations these days considering this place isn't frequented as much as previous decades. Located at the southeastern corner of Golden Gate Park off of Lincoln Way and Stanyan St., this historic multi-purpose stadium that is used for has been in operation ever since breaking ground way back in 1925. Since it was a little early for dinner, I came here on a whim during the afternoon of Friday 11/29/2024 at around 5:00pm. I parked nearby on Lincoln Way but there is a dedicated lot that is adjacent to the main entrance. Much to my surprise, this entire stadium is open to the public while the standard stadium hours are from 6:30am-10pm. What I particularly liked is how clean the grounds are here with an excellent running/jogging track, well-manicured natural grass on the field, a fully functional scoreboard w/public restrooms, and a respectable amount of seating on both sides of the field. From its long history, this stadium once seated up to 60,000 fans from 1925 until 1989; most notably the San Francisco 49ers that used it from 1946 to 1970. There has also been numerous collegiate games held here as well as track & field, rugby, lacrosse, soccer, and much more. The previous stadium was demolished in 1989 and downsized and rebuilt to its current setup that only seats a fraction of what it once seated at around 10,000 fans. These days, the stadium still holds graduation ceremonies, soccer matches, and various high school football games. All in all, "Kezar Stadium" is a piece of San Francisco history as it is located in a much quieter part of the city and away from all the hustle and bustle. All in all, I encourage everyone to check this place out if you haven't already. The grounds are kept very clean while the entire layout (even though this is a very densely populated city) to be spacious and open. My rating, an above average four stars.

The presentation and taste felt more like a basic tuna salad you'd get at Subway rather than a fresh, quality seafood dish you'd expect at a ballpark in San Francisco. They used shredded lettuce as the base, which made it feel cheap, and the crab was mixed with mayo--definitely not what I was hoping for. It lacked that fresh, bright flavor that a good crab Louis should have. We also ordered the chicken tenders and fries from Derby Grill. The chicken tenders were surprisingly skinny and underwhelming, but the fries actually had good flavor and ended up being the highlight of that order. While the food was not so great overall, the seats were amazing. The location offered a fantastic view of the game and the sea--you could even watch ships passing by, which made the experience feel special despite the disappointing food. I think you do. which is why, roller derby lives again! it is a ridiculously entertaining cross between WWF and NASCAR, with funky, 70's realness, 4 wheeled skates (remember those?) and an enthusiastic crowd which was mostly families and hipsters when i went. roller derby is not something I know much about, I am not the WWF type, and I have never seen the reality show (Rollergirls?) so i was pretty clueless about what was going on--but it doesn't matter. you really don't have to know the rules to enjoy it. Just have some drinks and watch the girls (and guys) in shorts fly around the banked track, knocking each other down and doing a milder version of WWF-style takedowns, complete with skate kicks, flipping out of the ring, and generally scrubbing out on a regular basis. But don't worry, kids, the violence isn't real. The fans (who presumably do know what is going on, unlike me) are very enthusiastic, there is a scoreboard and everything, and the overall effect is the fun part of a sporting event, but on fast forward. and with hair-pulling. Also the skating itself takes talent, and is pretty amazing. And they all have great nicknames. I don't think they sell drinks there (maybe beer?) so make sure you get some drinks beforehand (pick a bar, any bar, on haight street, or kezar pub is right across the street from the entrance, if you like crowded smelly sports bars). or sneak drinks in, there was no security check. There is a parking lot next door, in case you can't find anything on the street. The tickets are around $10, the seating is bleacher style, and if you are from SF, you are rooting for the Bay City Bombers--colors are orange and black, like the giants. Last time I went to root for my friend Ron, #30 (Roll, Ronny, Roll!) and we made our own signs and fit right it. If i remember right, you can get sodas and popcorn there, not much else. For $10, this is something fun and different to do on a Sat night. And, it is over at 10 or 10:30, plenty of time to go out after. The next "bout" is Sat Aug 18th @ 8PM at Kezar. And if you really like it, they have open track times for the general public/ training. There is more information on the (awful) website: baycitybombers.com
