Went to the venue last night. Was really cool with all the band posters everywhere. The line moved fast, quick scan in. There was ample room to move around and mingle before the show. The chandeliers and dark walls were very elegant. The show was great I had the nachos at concession and they hit the spot for a late night dinner. A great venue.

I think I'm retiring from going to indie rock concerts soon ..they have gotten older and I saw all of the shows ..last year and this year Jeff tweedy ..anniversary shows

Finally got to see Todd Rundgren. I'm a huge fan and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. He's still got such a youthful energy. Posted some video here. The set list was primarily newer music that I'm not as familiar with. Towards the end of the show he did a medley of some of his greatest hits. The venue was great. No complaints :)

The greatest music venue in the SF Bay Area. The Jesse Welles concert this week was a musical bombshell. His lyrics are ponient and his band plays true strait up Rock and Roll. My friend who attended with me needed ADA support. All of The Fillmore staff were supportive, caring and professional. The young lady who served us drinks on the floor - Emma was a delight. If you want to experience an amazing musical show, Matt says take the time to attend The Fillmore. It will change your outlook on life. A parking garage is a block away and resonably priced.

    We were going insane.

Went to see Cypress Hill last night. Haven't been to the 'Moe in hella long. The floors were just as sticky as I remember them! No food here. That's ok, we already had dinner back in the neighborhood. Had one round of beers, for which I had cash, and come to find out they don't accept cash anymore. No Cash! Card only...I thought we were in 'Merica! I wasn't upset with the bartender, the dude was cool. I am upset with The System. Anyway...B-Real and the boys gave us nothing but hits on this occasion, I was all about it!

I live in the area and frequently see shows at the Fillmore, and while it's been a while since I've written any review, after my last show on 11/13 I had to share my rave reviews. Cleanliness: For a sold-out show, the bathrooms, dance floor, and common areas were impressively clean--no sticky floors, no bottles or cups to dodge. Truly rare for a music venue. Customer Service: From bag check to ticket scanning, bartenders to security, every staff member was kind, welcoming, and genuinely added to the experience. Food: The nachos, cookies, burgers--and of course the apple--were fantastic. Nothing greasy, nothing dry, just really solid venue food that hit the spot. Logo: Loving the new logo. The whole vibe is spot on. Keep on truckin', Fillmore!

A historical and well-run theater/music venue. With that, the interior is so clean and not musty smelling. Almost everything looks replaced and well maintained for such an old venue. The chandeliers are an awesome touch. The second floor is another realm of tables, bars and wall to wall posters of all the bands that have played there. Bartenders, security and entrance monitors were friendly and efficient. Smooth and refreshing concert experience for me.

The Fillmore is truly iconic. Located on Geary and Fillmore, there is plenty to do in the area. Whether you're looking for cheap, casual eats or something more elevated, there's a bunch of different options. The parking situation isn't too bad either. There are a great deal of parking garages in walking distance or if you want to brave the street parking, that's definitely an option as well. Live Nation keeps this historic place poppin with great bands and artists. Most recently, I watched Royel Otis and Bombay Bicycle Club here. General admission tickets give you access to the main standing floor. There are very limited seats on the second level but the overhead views of the stage are amazing. This venue gives opera house vibes with the open balconies, red draping, gold frames. You also have to check out the poster room! I'm pretty sure The Fillmore still make posters for all their sold out shows and this room displays them beautifully. It's a super spacious seating area with a full bar and kitchen. Check in is standard. Security/bag check, ticket scan, then ID check before you make it inside the venue. Staff is always efficient and friendly. Coat check and merch lines are off to the side so crowd control is great through this entire venue. I was shocked to see 2 spiked lemonades cost $50 with a tip but it's expected. I'll stick to seltzers in the future!

Great venue for live music, but the drink prices are crazy. Bring your gummies and avoid the rip-off bar.

Can I avoid ticket fees and surcharges by buying tickets to a show at the box office, rather than online?

I doubt it. Since 2007 the Fillmore has been operated by LiveNation, which owns Ticketmaster.

If I don't have any tickets for a show, is it still possible to buy merchandise?

Hi Sydney. Here’s the link to buy Fillmore merch online. https://tinmanmerchstore.com/collections/the-fillmore

Hi, my friend & I have general admission tickets for an upcoming show? Do you have seats available there? Also, I'm slightly disabled due to having a bad knee. Do you have any ADA accommodations available? If so, what do I do once I get to the venue?

Is it safe leaving a concert from that area at night?

Yes, a lot of people will be getting out when the concert ends.

Are the teenagers under 18 allowed ? My son is 14, I'm expecting for the Mother's Day?

    Yes

Do you guys still require proof of vaccination?

Where is the nearest parking structure? I know that street parking is an option but I don't really trust parking on the street.

I wanted to buy tickets to see palace in May but I read somewhere that you guys are requiring a booster ? Is that true?

How is the ventilation/air circulation in regards to COVID? Is there any air filtration?

Is there a mask or proof of vaccine policy in place?

Yes. In accordance with San Francisco guidelines, all attendees must wear a mask and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination - either the original vaccination card or a printed copy… Read more

Any recommendations on when we should start waiting for doors to open?

It depends on your objective. Want a seat in the balcony, at least a couple hours before doors open. Want to get close/upfront to the stage, maybe an hour before. The… Read more

We rang in the new year here on Tuesday night, and had a wonderful time. The New Year's Eve event included a Frank & Dean Show, Open Jam, and access to more music in each of the individual rooms, along with the opportunity to explore the music studios and alluring decor throughout the venue. The Frank & Dean Show was cool, with the vocalists performing tunes like Fly Me To The Moon and That's Amore, but I don't think it lived up to the capabilities of this venue, musically. It was like watching karaoke on the big stage (they already had a karaoke room downstairs, which could do the same), but it was fine, they had us smiling and vibing to the great crooner musical acts during our first hour there. The music city underground offerings had actual live music more to our liking, the various bands in each room performing a range of tunes including folk, rock, blues, and reggae. The Open Jam was even funner, creating awesome music with sounds of the saxophone, bass, keyboard, vocals, and more. I especially enjoyed getting to watch and hear my bf play the guitar, drums, and melodica (musicians can bring their own instruments, or use the house instruments). The environment was simply welcoming and laid back, with lots of talented artists simply having a good time. The service and food/drink offerings were not the best and are the biggest reason I'm not giving 5 stars. They seemed a bit disorganized in the beginning, and guests who had tickets were confused about how to find their reserved seats (not just my party, but other attendees too) and it took a while for anyone to help us. The 7:00pm show didn't start till 7:20pm, and the second show started late as well. For dinner, we had the chicken caesar wrap and fish n chips, and though they were both delicious and good sized portions, they weren't our first choices. They were out of the steak frite and salads, and possibly more. How could you be out of multiple menu items on a special event day, before the event even starts?!? They already have a limited menu to begin with, so this was definitely a turnoff. Nonetheless, can't deny, Music City SF is still a pretty amazing music venue with a lot of potential. And we certainly had a memorable experience.
