Love this stadium over the years! Not only do they have international cuisines in the stalls, they give out freebies during theme days, such as Stars Wars Bb-8 jersey for May 4th (may the force be with you)! Classic garlic fries, chicken tenders and Ghirardelli sundae for the win! Family friendly and even have a toddler baseball area under the Coke bottle! What a wonderful stadium for the city!

    Hello Kitty Jersey give-away

HELLO KITTY DAY REVIEW: Long time Giants fan, but I don't make it out to many games. However, Hello Kitty jersey give-away? Heck yeah. I got in line around 9:30 a.m., and there's already 3 lines, but nothing too crazy yet. Thanks to the lady in front of me, she tells me 1 line is for the main entrance, 1 line is for the back entrance, and the 1 line is for "special entry" (which you'd need special tix for). I follow her to the main line. As we get closer to 11 a.m. (when gates open), the lines started growing wider. People were cutting left and right. There's no crowd management at all. Those of us who were in line from the start formed a human chain, not letting cutters in. Finally I make it to the gate and get my coveted Hello Kitty jersey. Yes, worth it. The game was entertaining with a DJ, races, sing-a-longs, etc. However, I don't think they planned for a sellout crowd of 41,000 because many of the food booths ran out of food, including the crab sandwich (cry!). Overall, a fun time at a beautiful ballpark by the water. The Giants win too. Just don't underestimate those Hello Kitty fans.

wOW!!! What an amazing game ! Walkoff homerun bottom of the 9th!! The drinks were cold and the sun was warm! Time flew and it was exciting to see all the kids run to the met to get a ball behind 3rd base! I guess that's the area for kids to get a foul ball!! I know nothing about baseball but ima lover of the game MLB!! Be sure to wear your sweater bc it's the Bay and it will get chilly guaranteed!!

Why why why the desperation after leaving South Bay SJ early and getting to the park by 11am. Hello Kitty Day and Girl Scouts Day. It was neck to neck no matter which direction you went. All for a Hello Kitty Jersey, mind you we did not even get because they didn't have enough. Sold out tickets over 41,000 and they only distributed to the first 15,000. They didn't think this was going to be a huge hit. Was it only for the die aged Giants fans? It was blood and thirst trying to pickle my way grown adults and kids to find the end of the rainbow. There was no end, it kept stretching and it was the most exhausting long day ever. Finding out my daughter sister and I didn't get a jersey, lined up for the restroom, lined up for our crab sandwich, lined up to get to our seats. It was relentless. Plan plan plan ahead. Thought we gave ourselves plenty of time but fell short. Next year I'll be there at 8:30 am in line!!!

When you talk about the San Francisco Giants Baseball Club you want to talk about a class act! I am super proud to be born in a city with a such an amazing team! I will not go into details with my history with the Giants I will just say they have been always so kind so generous and so professional! They were a success in NY before they moved to SF and with them, they took some of the Old School Values and courteous ways of dealing with the public as well as their winning ways! They have helped me, and I have helped as my roots are strong on the East Coast and even stronger in the West! No organization is perfect there will always be a few bad apples, but the Giants Crops are almost always sweet and bright! Thank you for being so generous to me and your fans I wish you nothing but the best!

What year is it ..time warp ..I didn't sign up for time warp..I want to live in the now ..this year at the giants ..it's the lone sailor ..my softball team ..stay positive ...perhaps it's a group on the East coast that enjoys baseball games ..perhaps the northeast mostly ...perhaps u r under the impression that they found better activities ...secret park..here's to 35 and then fast forward to 40 years old

Haven't sat bleachers in a long time and surprisingly the seats were pretty comfy. Always order the michelada, crab sandwich and dipin dots. Amazing time as always. Unfortunately, they made us toss our spray sunscreen while checking in.

Best ball club in the Bay! The Giants stole my heart in the 80s and I have loved them ever since. They have a great waterfront ballpark and always have a wonderful team. I feel lucky to live in such an awesome place with a team that is easy to cheer for! Even when they do not win, they seem to have the winning spirit that will keep them trudging on to the next world series. I bleed orange and black and love the giants to candlestick and back!

Hadn't been to a game in a couple years but it just keeps getting better. So much fun and vibes everywhere! We sat behind the dugout at field level last game row J. It was epic. Can't wait to go back.

Baseball buddies and friends for a long time... such a fun place to think about planning a b-ball watching party.

I think you do. which is why, roller derby lives again! it is a ridiculously entertaining cross between WWF and NASCAR, with funky, 70's realness, 4 wheeled skates (remember those?) and an enthusiastic crowd which was mostly families and hipsters when i went. roller derby is not something I know much about, I am not the WWF type, and I have never seen the reality show (Rollergirls?) so i was pretty clueless about what was going on--but it doesn't matter. you really don't have to know the rules to enjoy it. Just have some drinks and watch the girls (and guys) in shorts fly around the banked track, knocking each other down and doing a milder version of WWF-style takedowns, complete with skate kicks, flipping out of the ring, and generally scrubbing out on a regular basis. But don't worry, kids, the violence isn't real. The fans (who presumably do know what is going on, unlike me) are very enthusiastic, there is a scoreboard and everything, and the overall effect is the fun part of a sporting event, but on fast forward. and with hair-pulling. Also the skating itself takes talent, and is pretty amazing. And they all have great nicknames. I don't think they sell drinks there (maybe beer?) so make sure you get some drinks beforehand (pick a bar, any bar, on haight street, or kezar pub is right across the street from the entrance, if you like crowded smelly sports bars). or sneak drinks in, there was no security check. There is a parking lot next door, in case you can't find anything on the street. The tickets are around $10, the seating is bleacher style, and if you are from SF, you are rooting for the Bay City Bombers--colors are orange and black, like the giants. Last time I went to root for my friend Ron, #30 (Roll, Ronny, Roll!) and we made our own signs and fit right it. If i remember right, you can get sodas and popcorn there, not much else. For $10, this is something fun and different to do on a Sat night. And, it is over at 10 or 10:30, plenty of time to go out after. The next "bout" is Sat Aug 18th @ 8PM at Kezar. And if you really like it, they have open track times for the general public/ training. There is more information on the (awful) website: baycitybombers.com

If 6 were possible, that would be my rating. And the skaters and crowds here are diverse, a true reflection of S.F.and inclusive of the Bay Area folk mix. A great time for family, bf, gf, bff , buds, Derby-curious and wannabes, whatever. Wonderful to see kids there having a great time too. And NOT EXPENSIVE an event at that!! Uh, $10 general, $5 kids!! I totally enjoyed the Bombers and Orlando Thunder game in February and look forward to their next Kezar game this month against the San Diego Firebirds. I haven't seen Kezar packed with a crowd like that in long time!! Roller Derby shows competition, skill, excitement, and gets the crowd into it. I was disappointed when Roller Derby went off the air/television and the league disbanded. It's totally awesome to once again have games regularly scheduled at Kezar. Easy to get to via public transit. And adequate parking for those who drive. And that the games are again being televised on KOFY TV20. This original Roller Derby is the only sport that's co-ed in alternating periods and done on the classic banked track. I prefer the co-ed than the all-girl, flat-surface/track leagues. Skating on a banked tracked is more difficult and requires real pro skill. They kick it up a notch to a higher level. The late great Ann Calvello hailed from San Francisco and was a Bomber herself. She revered the classic co-ed Roller Derby and would be proud of her Derby deciples and fans here. I like seeing some familiar faces and the new faces. And the new expansion teams. I will always be a die hard San Francisco Bay Bombers fan. I am happy to see the Pioneers, Red Devils and Chiefs still in the league, along with a couple of new teams. I think everybody should go see their first Roller Derby game, if they haven't already. You'll get hooked like I did. Big crowd, TV cameras, lotsa action. These skaters are jumpn', not just bumpin'. And they're flyin', showin' their swift moves. Although she gets her share of hits, that Lali-O can sure dish it out!! I truly wish there were more skaters to expand the league even more!! Some of you skate boarder dudes need to show what daredevils you really are.!! IFyou really are!! Bring on your X-skills to the banked track for some good team competition and do what you gotta do to put up them points on the scoreboard. It's okay to lose control. It's Roller Derby! Show 'em off, bring it on!! Keep the crowds roaring and on their feet!

Pirates ultimately walked the plank 7-6. Stadium Wonderful open outfield view of the bay, including the now famous giant Coke bottle, glove, and McCovey Cove. It's a fun stadium to walk around and take in the sights. Packed house, loud and avid fanbase. I loved the jammin' organist. Very accessible, whether from foot, car, bike (valet service!), train, or yes, ferry or water taxi. I suppose you could even moor your yacht at the nearby marina.
