Super fun to watch my first Warriors game at the Chase Center! Really great stadium that's easy to navigate with some great food options for a sports arena. Plus, love that it's located in Mission Bay close to downtown so it doesn't feel that difficult to walk around and bonus there are restaurants right outside for late night munchies.

When did the Chase Center over this past week was able to catch a Warriors win on Warriors ground After the game, I decided to hang around Chase Center for a bit was able to meet Chris Mullen, and Festus. I was also able to meet Buddy Hield and Gary Payton.

Taking my three kids on a day trip to San Francisco to watch the Golden State Warriors face off against our team, the Dallas Mavericks, was by far one of the greatest experiences of my life. As Mavericks fans, we were decked out in our Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving jerseys, surrounded by a sea of passionate Warriors fans in their home stadium. The energy was absolutely electric! Luka delivered an unforgettable performance, scoring 45 points, while Klay Thompson put up 29 for the Warriors. Despite being the "away" fans, everyone was incredibly friendly and respectful. The game was intense, and as the score got closer, my kids kept glancing at me nervously, whispering, "Dad, please don't let us lose this game. These fans are going to eat us alive!" Their faces lit up with pure joy when we did win the game. Walking out of the stadium in our Mavericks jerseys, surrounded by Warriors fans, felt like such a proud moment for them. It wasn't just about the victory it was about the experience, the energy, and the fun of cheering on their team together. The Chase Center itself is beautiful, with clean facilities and breathtaking views of the ocean from the lobby areas. However, parking near the stadium is very pricey expect to pay around $60 if you park close by. We found a street parking spot a little further away, near some shops, and paid $40 for three hours. While it meant a 10-minute walk to the stadium, the walk itself was enjoyable and added to the experience. The atmosphere during the game was unbeatable. My 4-year-old daughter was jumping and cheering along with the crowd, and it was heartwarming to see everyone, regardless of team loyalty, getting along and sharing the moment. Watching Steph Curry play in person was something else his skill and movement are mesmerizing in real life, even more than on TV. As we were leaving, we passed a massive Christmas tree outside. Though we don't celebrate Christmas due to our religious beliefs, the festive decorations were stunning and added to the evening's charm. We also noticed a group of fans gathered by what looked like a sports news station, where someone opened a sliding door to sign a jersey just one of many examples of how much Warriors fans love their team. This was, without a doubt, one of the best basketball games I've ever attended. My kids and I had an amazing time and would absolutely come back for another event.

I will always be loyal to my soil! The Warriors have a place in my heart no matter in what part of the bay they play. Through good times and bad, they play with heart and leave it all out there on the court. Watching them at Chase Center is a great experience and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. They also have free refills on sodas- how amazing is that?!? I'm hoping we pull out some more wins this season and take it all the way to the 'ship! Let's Go Warriors!

What an incredible experience I had at the Golden State Warriors brand new stadium in San Francisco. This revamped section of San Francisco is extremely walkable, and the atmosphere at the stadium was electric. I attended a game on Monday and it was nothing short of thrilling. Despite three players being ejected from GSW in the first 2 minutes, the game was still a nail-biter. The energy in the stadium was palpable, and it's clear that this new venue is a major draw for GSW and all sports fans. Not a bad seat in the house and a standing room only area that is as fancy as can be. Hopefully I'm back in San Francisco soon so I can hit up another game!

Chase stadium is very clean. Most of the workers are super friendly and helpful. There are a ton of different food options from Filipino, Mexican, American bbq, and more. The seats are a put close together I.e. if you are tall your knees might touch the person in front of you. Overall love coming to watch the Warriors play here!

I would love to shout out Dianne. Bartender by section 109. She attended to my co workers and I during educator night. She was so kind and made conversation about everything and truly cared about our work. Thank you so much D, we hope to see you again! - Willie Brown MS

Always an enjoyable game. There's a lot of photo ops in & around the stadium. Food everywhere. An awesome looking stage & stairs to lounge on. When it's Christmas, the tree lights blue & gold. In the warriors store, chase card holders gets 30% off merchandise.

The Warriors experience is the full package. They got some of the nicest and courteous fans. You'll be shocked that there's no pushing and shoving here. and even it you're seated in the upper deck, the crew here does an excellent job on getting the fans here involved. But alas, there is a downside and it's the cost of the tickets and their apparel.Going to a Warriors game is a fun and interactive experience and should be something on your bucket list, at least make a visit before they move to San Francisco.

We are the Champions!! This year, unlike the first several years of this dynasty, I couldn't assume we would win. Our team dealt w/ injuries and COVID and battled back. Nothing was guaranteed or given. It was a different game each night, and tonight we won the third consecutive game of these Finals. Our guys played so well and the Celtics were a fierce opponent. I am beyond proud. The Warriors have provided me w/ a refuge and respite from the ugliness of the world and the pandemic, even during the previous two seasons when our record wasn't good, and for that I am grateful. I am a passionate fan and my love of the game has grown to include the NBA, the Stanford women's team and beyond. Off the court Steve Kerr and the players have spoken out on social justice issues, standing tall and speaking truth. They represent us at our best and give me hope.

Yes ladies and gents, it's my *500th* review! And, I'm dedicating this one to none other than my beloved Dubs! I wasn't always a fan of the Warriors. Growing up, my Dad was always invested in this team. He would watch them play and route for them even when their track record wasn't the greatest. He wasn't a diehard, but he was a believer. Oh, and he got major sh!t for it, let me tell ya! A man that was born in Brooklyn and raised in South Central... rooting for OAKLAND?! Well, he was just ahead of his time I guess, even back then. Although he was a believer, I wasn't at the time. I just wasn't really into the game the way that I am now. It wasn't until I started dating a dedicated fan, that I became a fan myself. Seeing how much joy that Golden State brought to him made me want to learn what they were all about. And that, I did. Fast forward to now and my love for this team is unlike any other. No matter what team that you're rooting for, you cannot deny the incredible talent that the Warriors possess. Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson; these are damn near household names. If you haven't heard of them by now, then you MUST be living under a rock! The skill set of this team is simply unparalleled! Once the underdog and now the leader. And they are truly a team! You can see their bond from a mile away. Everybody gets to shine and everybody puts in that work! From your Shaun Livingston 3-pointers, to your David West swat blocks, to your Andre Iguodala steal and dunks; even the bench has that glow. And, don't rule out the newbies! I'll take a Kevon Looney lay-up or a Patrick McCaw 3-pointer any day! And let's not forget about that little ray of sunshine named Kevin Durant. He is my personal favorite and probably one of the best trades that the team has ever made, in my opinion. There's no better feeling than going to a live Dubs game. The blue and gold crowds, the contagious energy, and the passion of our team. There's just a special feeling of unity that you feel while you sit amongst the crowd and cheer. It ain't called the "roaracle" for nothin' y'all! This crowd doesn't scream or shout; we ROAR and we do it loud and proud! There's never a dull moment when you're following that blue and gold! The Dubs... oh yeah, they sure know how to keep it entertaining! But even after all of that, what I enjoy the most about this team is what it has done for the community. They put the town on the map and they never forgot about where they came from. They are constantly donating their time and money to local charities, and helping the city in as many ways as they can. Their support for Oakland is what truly makes me proud. They are shedding their great light on the best city in the Bay Area and allowing people to see the true beauty of these streets. I know that time is coming soon... when Golden State will relocate to the big city. But even when that time comes, I'll still be here rooting for them just like it was yesterday. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior! And that my friends, is "Golden".

What's the prior name of Golden State Warriors stadium?

Chase Center has no previous name. It was built in San Francisco recently, opening in September 2019. Before that the Warriors played in Oakland, at Oracle Arena, which has had previous and subsequent names. It was Oracle from 2006-2019 and came… Read more

I think you do. which is why, roller derby lives again! it is a ridiculously entertaining cross between WWF and NASCAR, with funky, 70's realness, 4 wheeled skates (remember those?) and an enthusiastic crowd which was mostly families and hipsters when i went. roller derby is not something I know much about, I am not the WWF type, and I have never seen the reality show (Rollergirls?) so i was pretty clueless about what was going on--but it doesn't matter. you really don't have to know the rules to enjoy it. Just have some drinks and watch the girls (and guys) in shorts fly around the banked track, knocking each other down and doing a milder version of WWF-style takedowns, complete with skate kicks, flipping out of the ring, and generally scrubbing out on a regular basis. But don't worry, kids, the violence isn't real. The fans (who presumably do know what is going on, unlike me) are very enthusiastic, there is a scoreboard and everything, and the overall effect is the fun part of a sporting event, but on fast forward. and with hair-pulling. Also the skating itself takes talent, and is pretty amazing. And they all have great nicknames. I don't think they sell drinks there (maybe beer?) so make sure you get some drinks beforehand (pick a bar, any bar, on haight street, or kezar pub is right across the street from the entrance, if you like crowded smelly sports bars). or sneak drinks in, there was no security check. There is a parking lot next door, in case you can't find anything on the street. The tickets are around $10, the seating is bleacher style, and if you are from SF, you are rooting for the Bay City Bombers--colors are orange and black, like the giants. Last time I went to root for my friend Ron, #30 (Roll, Ronny, Roll!) and we made our own signs and fit right it. If i remember right, you can get sodas and popcorn there, not much else. For $10, this is something fun and different to do on a Sat night. And, it is over at 10 or 10:30, plenty of time to go out after. The next "bout" is Sat Aug 18th @ 8PM at Kezar. And if you really like it, they have open track times for the general public/ training. There is more information on the (awful) website: baycitybombers.com

If 6 were possible, that would be my rating. And the skaters and crowds here are diverse, a true reflection of S.F.and inclusive of the Bay Area folk mix. A great time for family, bf, gf, bff , buds, Derby-curious and wannabes, whatever. Wonderful to see kids there having a great time too. And NOT EXPENSIVE an event at that!! Uh, $10 general, $5 kids!! I totally enjoyed the Bombers and Orlando Thunder game in February and look forward to their next Kezar game this month against the San Diego Firebirds. I haven't seen Kezar packed with a crowd like that in long time!! Roller Derby shows competition, skill, excitement, and gets the crowd into it. I was disappointed when Roller Derby went off the air/television and the league disbanded. It's totally awesome to once again have games regularly scheduled at Kezar. Easy to get to via public transit. And adequate parking for those who drive. And that the games are again being televised on KOFY TV20. This original Roller Derby is the only sport that's co-ed in alternating periods and done on the classic banked track. I prefer the co-ed than the all-girl, flat-surface/track leagues. Skating on a banked tracked is more difficult and requires real pro skill. They kick it up a notch to a higher level. The late great Ann Calvello hailed from San Francisco and was a Bomber herself. She revered the classic co-ed Roller Derby and would be proud of her Derby deciples and fans here. I like seeing some familiar faces and the new faces. And the new expansion teams. I will always be a die hard San Francisco Bay Bombers fan. I am happy to see the Pioneers, Red Devils and Chiefs still in the league, along with a couple of new teams. I think everybody should go see their first Roller Derby game, if they haven't already. You'll get hooked like I did. Big crowd, TV cameras, lotsa action. These skaters are jumpn', not just bumpin'. And they're flyin', showin' their swift moves. Although she gets her share of hits, that Lali-O can sure dish it out!! I truly wish there were more skaters to expand the league even more!! Some of you skate boarder dudes need to show what daredevils you really are.!! IFyou really are!! Bring on your X-skills to the banked track for some good team competition and do what you gotta do to put up them points on the scoreboard. It's okay to lose control. It's Roller Derby! Show 'em off, bring it on!! Keep the crowds roaring and on their feet!
