The dog park is partitioned into two separate areas based on weight. One area is designated for dogs that weigh greater than 30 pounds and other area is for dogs that weight less than 30 pounds. Each respective area has its own grass and dirt fields. For the large dog area, the dirt field measures 100 x 50 feet and the grass field measures 100 x 85 feet. There is a water spigot with community bowls, three seating areas, several community toys/balls, a few built-in obstacles, and lighting which allows the park to be open until 10pm. This dog park checks off all the boxes but I do wish there was more shaded area. At the end of the day, a dog park is only as good as the behavior of the dogs and their owners. I've only had positive experiences.

Luckily it was early morning enough that I don't think it would have really done any harm but definitely keep an eye out if you go. The park is cute too with a large children's play area. During the day on weekdays it's pretty empty, which I like, but when there are people there they're always pretty friendly and courteous. The skatepark's plan is just one flow bowl so there are no half pipes or anything, but it's still really great for beginners and intermediate skaters. It's not the closest skatepark to me, but I'll go out of my way to come here because I feel safe being here alone. From what I've seen, hours are 7:00am to 9:00pm.
