In town for a family event & last minute needed a basic manicure & pedicure. Called to ask if they accepted walk-ins & had availability. I was happy to hear that when I said I could be there in 15 mins it would be no issue. Shops is welcoming & clean. I was promptly greeted & shown to a spa chair for my pedicure. It had been a travel day for me, so the massage chair, foot/leg massage & hot stones were a welcomed treat. After had my manicure & that was just as relaxing. Nails were cleaned up & were refreshed (it had been a bit since I had a proper manicure). I appreciated the care & time Jasmin took with me. If I lived local would certainly visit again & request her. I found the prices to be reasonable & appreciated the discount by using cash, although they do accept credit card, too. read more

Three of the techs I have had there were PHENOMENAL. The other two were absolutely horrible. After being paired with one of them on two separate occasions I have had to have my nails redone. The same nail tech filed/drilled my nails down (not the length, the actual nail thickness) so thin when removing acrylic that three of them had tears in them that resulted in bleeding and staining of the nail. The other nail tech, who I had for the first time today, did not do a good job at all. When I was trying to pull up a photo of the nail shape I wanted because I didn't like the shape she had done she started to put the dip on without waiting because I had to get WiFi connection to get my internet to load. She then got mad that I had let her start putting the dip on despite me saying I wanted to show her a photo of the shape I wanted. She spent the entire rest of the appointment being really harsh with her movements and jerking my hands around and literally filing my skin on every nail multiple times. They look really bad but every time I asked for anything to get fixed at all she was not nice despite me asking very politely to the point I didn't feel like I could ask for them to be better. At the end of the appointment when I went to pay she argued with me that I was asking for more change back than would be needed to pay for my service + a tip. We spent a solid 5 minutes with me saying, still honestly way more politely than I should have been, that I had given her X amount and just wanted Y amount back. Finally after another tech came up and said something and I showed her the math on my calculator she admitted she had been wrong. My nails still look horrible. Despite how amazing the other three techs I've had are, I don't think I will be going back again beyond hopefully getting these ones fixed by someone else there in a few days when my skin isn't completely raw. read more

service was a horrible experience. today I went to go get a pedicure and a full set. I got my feet done regular polish and my nails done no chip mind you both the same color and number. when I walk outside the colors were two total different colors. my feet were orange and my nails were pink. I went back in to tell the lady the lady argued with me and told me I have to call the nail polish company. she said if I wanted to change my color I had to find the color myself on the wall. yet they didn't have any color that matched. I called ahead to make an appointment for a fill. they didn't take my name or number and then hung up. When I got in, they nodded and I stood around for several minutes before being told to sit down at a station. I sat there for more than 45 minutes. I was spoken to once by a woman to tell me she would be doing my nails soon. More than 15 minutes later, a man came around and told me to move stations. When I showed him what I wanted for my nails, he got started. It got to doing color, and my nails look like a toddler did them. There was no attention to detail, and I couldn't be more disappointed. Because I had made an appointment, I thought I would have time to make sure my nails were what I wanted, but they wasted 45 minutes ahead of time, so I couldn't even ask for him to fix them because there was no time anymore. I never leave bad reviews, but here we go. Came Saturday before Easter to get my nails done. Asked for coffin shape with skinny sides. I got there at 3:00 and finished at 5:15. I did not expect the set to take 2 hours and 15 minutes and had work at 5:00. The nails were horribly misshapen and very chunky. I didn't ask for them to be redone or voice my unhappiness because I was already late for work and nothing could be done in that moment. I had tears in my eyes and was very unhappy, but didn't want to be mean or cause a problem for the nice women doing my nails and just wanted to leave and get to work. After I went to work my coworkers told me how awful the nail shape is and how they wouldn't have paid for that. They gave me the confidence that the nail salon would understand and I should ask them for a new set. I'm including a picture of the nails at the bottom. I am a busy college student I couldn't come back into the nail salon until Thursday. I had Easter the next day and classes Monday-Wednesday during the nail store's hours. When I got to the salon I showed them the set and explained the situation kindly and asked for them to be fixed. They sat me down and agreed to help me. They did not tell me I would have to pay another price of a full set. After my nails were finished they looked so much better and I was so happy! I have graduation photos the next day and my hands are going to be holding my diploma... i will have these pictures forever so I really wanted my nails to look nice and polished. The boy doing my nails told me my total would be $45 and they could only apply a $10 discount once he finished. I asked why I was not told this at the start on the appointment and was confused why I was being charged again. They heard the situation and said they would help then changed their intentions at the end of the appointment and charged me $45. I have never spoken up ever about not liking nails or have never even sent food back, but because I had graduation pictures i wanted this set to look right. I asked multiple times why they didn't tell me at the start that I would be paying for a full set and nobody answered me. If the salon was not wanting to fix the first set i would've asked for the nails to be removed and a refund processed and still tipped. When I said this one of the male workers jumped up and yelled at me "YOU WANT ME TO TAKE THEM OFF THEN?" And pulled back a chair abruptly. I was so taken aback that he raised his voice at me and was treating me with disrespect. I had already been here another 2 hours and didn't want to sit there longer I was very uncomfortable. I explained to him that I would pay the $45 but I felt like they did not care about me and only wanted my money. I paid $97 in total for the 2 sets. I had the first set on for 3 days and was being made fun of at work for how ugly it was. At checkout all of the staff were telling me it did not matter that my first set was messed up because I did not come in sooner. I explained I am a college student and the next day was Easter and it was not in my availability to Come. They kept saying that it's my fault for not coming sooner or calling them. They didn't show any remorse and were very standoff ish. This was my first time ever speaking up about my nails. I felt attacked and completely shut down even though at first they said they would help. They treated me like I was 16 years old and cheating them out of a nail service. I was shocked. I knew they did not hold respect for me so my mom called the store on my behalf. Within 30 seconds they offered a free fill to my mother and tried to downplay the situation. I like the woman and boy who did my nails but the people who handled me at checkout were beyond unprofessional and raised their voices at me. I had originally came in for a pedicure, i useally enjoy almost everyone i get. So I decided to get a manicure as well. Over all they did a good job and took the time to make sure I was happy with the way they did my nails. My one and only problem with this location is the pricing. When I went to pay for my service I thought It was a little pricey so I ask how they came up with the price when the book says one thing. I think the woman I was talking to was the owner or the manager. Her tone was aggressively annoyed when I was asking about the price. I'm sorry, if you don't properly put the prices with cash or only on Certain day's, people get confused. The menu is hard to read. It's happened a few times with other services I have received there. I had a great experience, the man that did my nails was super friendly and kind and made small talk with me, my nails were done elsewhere before and were a little wonky but he fixed them up perfectly and was very attentive to making sure I was happy with his work, I was only charged 36 bucks for a fill and it was great work, he was fast and did a great job, really wish I caught his name so I could request him again. He was also very patient with me because I don't have much experience with acrylics also, I just dyed my friends hair and that's why there's blue on my fingers, not their fault. I read the reviews before I went in and I was very excited. I told her what shape and length I wanted. After showing my inspiration picture she suggested coffin instead. I asked her to trim them shorter because I like them shorter, she wouldn't. The acrylic is on top of my cuticles so it's already lifting. My hands were COVERED in nail glue. I've never had that happen before and it was frustrating. And I'm not even going to touch the photo because it's just sad. Highly do not recommend. read more

We almost missed our massages we booked elsewhere (with PLENTY of time between) and had to walk out without service in order to make it on time. I hate having to leave a bad review, but I wish I had chosen a different nail salon. I came in here 12/18/20 for an SNS manicure. At first, I was very happy with the service. However, after leaving and feeling my nails they were very bumpy. The tips were extremely thin and the nail bed was very raised. Within 5 days, two nails broke. I went in and had them fixed free of charge on 12/21/20, but the girl who fixed them did a horrific job and barely spoke to me. The two nails she fixed were chunky and she filed my nails crooked. Today another nail broke off. Overall extremely disappointed and frustrated that I now have to go somewhere else to pay for a new set. read more

Gorgeous, clean nail salon downtown Dekalb. I prefer a powder dip to acrylics but it's hard to find a place who can do them thin and pretty and not have them look like Chicklets. They look like my natural nails! They are amazing. My tech was meticulous. My daughter got a cat eye gel manicure that is GORGEOUS as well. Every client I saw leave looked fabulous and satisfied. i was always told if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. So I guess I will start with a compliment, I can't say that the staff and the cleaning in regards to Covid it's really good. However the service I had was horrible. The nail tech did not listen to what I ask and when it was time to pay, she added on an additional $10 for something I did not ask for and also thought it was OK to include a five dollar tip without my permission. When I asked her to remove that tip due to her horrible service she got upset and insisted I give her one. I can honestly say I have only been here three times and only had excellent service once. I've come here many times and my nails always turn out pretty good. My advise would be to just not go when it's busy because instead of focusing on my nails, the older woman I had was focusing on the people that came through the door then rushed my nails. She only put cuticle oil on one hand and one of my nails didn't even get a top coat on it. I understand worrying about being busy however, just focus on the person you are currently working on you will get to the others eventually and then everyone can be satisfied. read more

It took 4 hours to get my pedicure and manicure done at this place. I sat at the pedicure chair for a good hour with no water. They could have started my manicure. I had gotten dip done. Christy is awesome! She really knows what she's doing. Some nail salons layer on gel manicures, causing your nails to look absurdly fake, but they really take their time here and work with the shape of your natural nails to make your manicure very flattering. read more
