Gift card promo was a bait and switch! I paid all three months on time and was now told that the 100$ gift card isn't showing in my account notes. They had no clue how to honor the promo gift card! This is just a new name for Suddenlink. Same problems. Service goes out all the time. No local office. Can't speak to a real person when you call customer service. Quality goes down and prices go up. read more

My Suddenlink services (Internet, Cable & Phone) continuously go down! Lately, it seems like they're offline more than they're online. Every time you call Suddenlink you get their "automated" operator and you have to try this or that to get "their" equipment back up and running before you can talk to a real person. Spent 39 minutes on hold then 15 minutes waiting for a "technician" to unlock my email that was shut down for spamming. I knew I couldn't send emails but they didn't bother telling me why. I was hacked and changed my password. One would think an email or phone call could be made for what I pay them. The technician could not fix what is a common problem and will escalate it to a specialty team that will contact me in a couple days. Suddenlink, You Suck! read more

What they tell you one the phone and in the store are completely opposite. Didn't show for 2 install appointments. Installed incorrectly and took three additional visits over a month. In store they told me "it will be fixed when fixed, they have no control." We finally went with different service and had everything disconnected. read more

I live about 40 minsaway from our local drop off place for equipment. Last time I went there, it was closed due to Corona virus. I'm getting billed for having the equipment and there is no way to return it! I have to make another 40 min drive to see if they are open again! Because anytime I call, i it's all automated calls no matter how many times I press 0, I cannot speak to a human to see if they are open.. and it's not one of their choices in the automated call!! I was a SuddenLink subscriber in good standing for over a year when I moved a few miles down the road and across the river where they do not provide services. I terminated with SuddenLink, returned the equipment to their store, and paid all outstanding fees. I also provided them with my new forwarding address, and they already had both my email address and my phone number which did not change. Eight months after terminating service, I was notified by a collection agency that I still owed SL $68. SL had never sent me a bill, nor ever tried to contact me via email or phone. They just turned me over to collections. I am extremely careful to pay my bills on time and watch my credit closely, so this really upset me. Speaking with an SL customer service agent, she said they did try to call me on the hard line phone # that they provided in their package, the same # they terminated when I terminated my service with them. Previous to me terminating service with SL, they used both my mobile # and my email when communicating with me. So why they would try to contact me via their number which they terminated, is beyond bizarre. Even though I have now spent hours on this issue, speaking with SL Customer Service and their external Collection Agency, I still do not have an explanation why I owe SL the $68. I paid the $68, but neither company will give me a guarantee that this will not show up on my otherwise excellent credit report. This is just mind numbing to me how a company can treat its customers this way and get away with it. This is my first salvo to fight back at the big guy. My only complaint with their internet service was their speed which was no where near what they advertised. With FIOS I had 25, with SuddenLink I had 50. SuddenLink was super slow with many brief video freezes. I never had an issue with FIOS even though they advertised half of SL's speed. I currently have Armstrong which is really fast. read more

Probably the worst customer service I've ever encountered. The phone line to our local office listed on the internet is wrong and has been for years. The automated responses on the backup number are virtually impossible to navigate. Hint: hit random numbers and say randomly, "Operator, human, agent, person, etc." for a few minutes and eventually you'll get a person. The equipment needs frequent resetting. Service comes when it comes, regardless of the fact you have paid for something you are not getting. We have no competition in our area (thanks creepy legislators) or we would be out. My advice: If this company tries to sell you something, run far, run fast. read more

Just got off the phone with the customer service rep who seems to know it all. She was arguing with me that service i not down. I'm connected to their arrius device and still no connection.. I mean how stupid are these people. I will be slandering suddenlink every chance I get.. What a waste of time and money. My advise is get a broadband connection anywhere but suddenlink!!! I've been having trouble with my internet for almost a year. I've had several techs out and no one will fix the issue. The last tech got the replaced the modem again and pretty much ran out of the house. It was off again within 5 minutes of him leaving. read more

I paid for my service in full the appointment was from 8am-12pm for them to install little after noon I call he is running behind he hasn't updated his system for them to tell where he is or how much longer it would be I called around three same response but was told they put a comment of the account for me to be called when in route me to me I called around 5:30 cause I still hasn't got a call and was told that the tech never updated his system and they they was trying to get ahokd and see what was going on and that the first two calls should have done the same but didn't but that their dispatch center would call me in two hours and let me know when my tech would be coming when and if that was today or another day I called them cause I never received a call and their system tells they rescheduled the appointment for the 11th between 4-6 w/o calling an telling me anything this appointment was planned a month in advance and paid for but I never got my service and when I tried to call and cancel I was forwarded to a office that was closed and the call dropped I called two more times and the call dropped finally got tech support on the phone cause the system wouldnt let me like it had all day it just wouldnt give me the option before. I finally talk to someone and I was told that they cant cancel cause the office is closed and I'd have to call tomorrow I paid for goods and services but yet their installation tech can't update their system all day telling where they are in order to serve their paying customers read more
