The pool is really nice and a good size to accommodate many individuals. We had an Aqua Zumba class that took up about half the pool and the other half of the pool was full of families and kids swimming and lounging in the water. The only drawback is that some of the residents are kind of rude, which is to be expected in a community like Mira Lagos. The Aqua Zumba class is open to the public but you get the third degree before anyone will let you in the pool. Some residents also complain about noise and it appears that they don't want certain people at the pool having fun. But hey, it's a nice community pool so just put some earplugs in and ignore the meanies.

It wasn't too crowded when I came and my kids had lots of fun on the rides and another funny ride attendants name was seven! Didn't get the last name letter but it's an interesting name so I remembered. Wrote this review to make sure these fun kids were noticed for how friendly they made the place! Wish I could remember more of these teens names!

The swimming experience was enjoyable, but the food was very disappointing. After swimming for a while, we decided to visit the food stand. We ordered two ICEEs, two pizzas, and one order of nachos. Unfortunately, the ICEEs were not very cold, were only partially filled, and did not meet our expectations. The pizzas were also disappointing. They were extremely small--about the size of my hand--and much smaller than a typical personal pizza. The sauce appeared dried out, and the pizza was served cold. The nachos were equally underwhelming and did not seem fresh. Overall, while we enjoyed the swimming facilities, the food quality did not match the experience. I would recommend bringing your own food if permitted, rather than purchasing food on-site. 30$ was the cost by the way

We got there mid afternoon and, by chance, were able to score a table. Outdoor pool is divided into shallow and deep ends. Also, it has a diving board an adjacent overhead shaded overhang, seats, loungers and a cantina for concessions. Mind the cantina hours. I purchased the nachos with jalapeños. Cheese topping was ample. Portion was totally share-able. Remember to ask for paper towels! Staff was on their game. Door staff was able to locate our reservation pretty efficiently. Life guards were alert. Outdoor pool has a process where all kids are asked out of the pool for the last 20 minutes on the hour. This allows for adults to share in an adults only swim. There's an outdoor shower, water fountain and restroom with hand dryers. Indoor area includes a waiting pool connected to the Lazy River, a couple slides, and another break out pool. There are chairs that hugged the walls for bathing suit cover ups, shoes, etc. There are no indoor cubbies. I would say bring toys/ etc items in here at your own risk. The Lazy River keeps a decent pace. There was an incident of sick child in the water and life guards handled it accordingly. The area was restricted for the rest of our time spent there. Splash pad section rocked. Fountains that would dump water, play squirting cannons, frogs to sit upon and so on. All and all, this was a solid place to have a kid's birthday. Additional families had the same idea. Many a celebration was had that day. Parking available for the center. Our party had a blast with the party favor being that kids slept hard that evening. The ambiance seemed great upon first impression -- the ballroom overlooks the driving range, and golf is his favorite pastime. My aunts did a menu tasting before the event and they said the food was great. They chose the following options: steak wedge salad, chicken florentine, and salmon and rice. However the day of the event was such a disappointment. The steaks were super inconsistent-- some of us had rare, some of us had medium rare, and I had a well done piece. What seemed strange about my steak is that it tasted...like organ meat?! I thought I was going crazy. My family tried it and they agreed something was extremely off about the taste. My cousin was struggling to cut his chicken florentine because it was so dry. The biggest offender was the salmon and rice... everyone who ordered this option received UNDERCOOKED RICE! Rice is one of the hardest things to mess up, especially if you use a rice cooker... The bread and butter that was served was dry and unmemorable. It's sad when the appetizers outshine the main dishes. The fruit plate upon seating was well presented. The Beef Wellington (A+ chef's kiss) and coconut shrimp were the saving grace of the event. The pork potstickers were just okay. We had paid drinks as an option, but I don't drink so I asked for a club soda. It came in a plastic bottle and it tasted like plastic. Outside of food, the ballroom provided us a projector. The AV team didn't seem super knowledgeable as it took 30 minutes to get the video AND audio up and going. Overall it wasn't the best in terms of food and the projector, but the room itself was great and the appetizers provided something to remember. Nonetheless, I'm grateful we had a place to create memories for my grandfather's 100th. Highly would not recommend this place for a wedding though unless you're looking to be disappointed.

I almost instantly regretted it as soon as we figured out there was not a single place to sit for parents. They have a decent size party room, but unless you rent it, they don't allow anyone in. The whole time our kids were playing we stood while staff mopped the room in the middle of the day. The room was empty from the time we arrived at open so it blows my mind they would not put one of their 5 tables with benches down for customers. When I asked about seating they recommended we sit outside on the benches by the mini golfing in triple digits, leaving a blind straight path between my kids and the exit. Not an option.

Once there we hung out on the smaller kid side and let me son have fun with the smaller slides. He really enjoyed the several options here, but the water pressure didn't always allow him to freely slide down the slides. He had to constantly push himself to keep going down. After a couple hours there we ventured to the bigger side where, to my surprise, my son was tall enough for just about everything! We hung out in the lazy river for awhile then enjoyed all the big slides as most of them had pretty short wait times. The attendants at the slides were all nice. It took awhile sometimes to wait for an inflatable or racing mat for two of the slides, but after you get one you go right away. I actually enjoyed all the stairs too - most of the slides on the big side share the same stairwell, which surprisingly didn't get too crowded, but I got over 15,000 steps for the day going up and down those stairs about 8 times so I appreciated that. It was a nice family place with options for entertainment! We saw that they also had an arcade that we didn't check out, but it seemed like a lot of people were having fun there too. I'd say people of all ages were having a nice time here, especially with the live DJ in the lazy river - so fun!!

It was a lot of fun. There are plenty of tables to sit at and shade as well. You can rent out the two pavilions for parties through the City of Ennis. Lots of parking and there were tennis/pickleball courts nearby along with sand volleyball courts and bathrooms. Long walking trail. Take advantage of this beautiful park!

This fabulous and unexpected park is located in the small town of Venus. I enjoyed the concrete walking track that goes around the entire park that runs at about a third of a mile. The playground is partially shaded and sits on a mulch base.
