It's a pretty cool spot if you want to just get the family out the house and get in some water.

Hawaiian Falls Mansfield is located off 360 near Heritage Pkwy, offering the community a fun filled place for families to cool off in Texas summers from the beginning of May until September. We went ahead and got the pineapple passes, which include unlimited visits through the season, as well as bringing in a guest free each visit. The pass also included free unlimited soft drinks with each visit as well. We upgraded and got the cooler pass, which allows you to bring in a cooler or ice chest each visit where you can bring drinks and snacks that don't contain alcohol. The parking lot has ample spaces to park, and parking is always free. The park hours vary by the day of the week and month. The best bet is to go online and check out the park schedule for a more accurate listing. There are many slides and fun activities for the kids to do. The park is designed for small children, and all the slides end in a shallow end of water that is still intact with the slide. They have a lazy river and a wave pool that are all waist deep as well as 2 small kids play areas with small slides and water activities. There are many lifeguards present who do a great job in making sure everyone remains safe in a fun filled environment since safety should be everyone's concern. There are a couple of food vendors on site, and they have picnic grounds to sit back and relax while enjoying a day in the sun. The floats are always free to use, and there is an abundance of lawn chairs to sit back and recline to soak it all in. There are 2 more locations in Roanoke and Waco, and both are built similar but have different attractions. There are always specials and events going on, such as the 4th of July firework show and discounts throughout the week with certain promotions. This is the perfect family getaway with families who have small kids and are looking for a safe place to swim and beat the North Texas heat! read more

Family went on Sunday. It was my first time going. I actually liked Hawaiian Falls a lot better than Hurricane Harbor. It was not packed and more family friendly. We didn't try any of the food there since we packed our own coolers with food and drink. The bathroom needed a little more attention. We have bought season passes here for the past 5 years. It's a family friendly water park. You don't have to walk too far from one side to the other. However, this year I've seen many broken picnic tables. Like a broken hole the size of my hand on the edges of these plastic tables. Safety issue. They have put all of the nice new furniture in the rental cabanas. There should be more shaded areas. The Torpedo slides in the back have been broken & turned off this entire summer. My kid's favorite ride. The wave pool hasn't been running like it used to. Tiny waves or no waves. I would like to see updates before we purchase new passes. read more

It wasn't crowded so that was good. However the water is so cloudy! It's like that accords the park. Parts of the flooring in the lazy river and smaller pool chips away under my feet. My puppy, Bailey, and I came here this afternoon for a special event: Hounds at Hawaiian Falls. We had a blast. It was so fun chasing my pup around and seeing the joy on her face exploring the water park. I swear she was smiling. Everyone was so friendly. The lifeguards were present and alert. And there were staff walking around picking up and cleaning up after a few dogs. That was a nice touch. Really nice. I was surprised at the door, when I arrived I handed them a $20 bill and was told that it was $25. I looked through all the advertisements when I got home and I was right, it was advertised for $20. This would not have been a big deal -- $5 extra bucks for a great cause. BUT -- the lockers inside cost $10. A little steep. So, it cost me $35 for the afternoon. All in all, I would definitely come back again in the future, especially for this event. However, I would skip the locker next time and maybe pay in advance so I knew the right cost upfront. read more

Love this water park. It's not too large, feels like everything is a short walk away. Most of the rides are fun even as an adult, probably more fun as a kid. Lots of places to sit and put your stuff down. Lifeguards seem like they're pretty focused on their job. Water seems very clean and the park overall is well kept. Just went the other day and for the 4 slides in the back, they literally had 4 inner tube's available. 4. It wasn't even that busy of a day, but we still had to stand in line for 10-15 minutes waiting for them. Absolutely ridiculous. I can only imagine how bad it will be when the summer crowd picks up. I love Hawaiian falls but I have some safety concerns. Some life guards allow kids to throw balls back and for in the wave pool- which is fine its some small kids. But the teenage boys get ROUGH and do not look out for others.a little girl (maybe 11) got smacked by a football this week and about 30 minutes later I got smacked in the head with it and things went black. They need to not let anyone be throwing huge balls in the pool. If a little kid had been hit as hard as I was today, it would have knocked them out and made them fall down. the lifeguards do NOT seem to care about guest safety. I get it. Theyre very young. But they need to be more alert and watch for what the big teenage boys are doing in there. read more

We bought season passes for our family of 6 and have been to the park 8 times so far this summer. We've had a great experience each day! The park is generally clean. There are plenty of chairs and good shaded areas for the baby to rest. The staff has been friendly at the gate. The lifeguards are very attentive, even playful, giving high fives to my kiddos at the bottom of the slides and requesting to be splashed from the lazy river to keep cool. We've used a buddy pass to bring a friend completely free, we almost always use a coupon for my kids to get a BOGO cotton candy or mini melt for around $3 and $1 hots dogs. We will likely continue to frequent the park this summer and get passes again next year, great family fun! read more

This place was great. The tickets were cheaper when we bought them online. For a family of 4 it saved us $20. It was super quick to pay for them off their website. They have life jackets for kids of all sizes to use for free. The park was clean and the life guards were on top of it. They seemed to be out of a lot of food. They didn't have popcorn or churros at the snack stand. The other stand for food took a long time. We weren't there for the food though, the water park was amazing. Perfect for a fun day. My family and I went here last Saturday afternoon First they tell my kids to stand by this pole with black tape to see if they should be charged as adults WOW so kids are charged as adults based on height not age We get in the park was fun not over crowded which I loved but here is how the really got one star The park was about to close so I let my kids get in the wave pool. My youngest can't swim so she could only go so far but then the waves came on so I see her getting pushed toward the deeper end and her head is going under so I'm Rushing to her and calling for her brother to grab her But there were literally two life guards one on each side of the pool neither one of them even budged Neither one of them noticed and my daughter was really close to one of them . If you have a friend who works for the Methodist hospital make sure to stop by the gift shop because they sell water park passes for $14.00 to the employees, about $10.00 less than the entrance fee. Overall it was a fun experience especially if the cost is $14. One great feature is the option to pay $10 to bring in a cooler which saves money. Customer service is horrible. Rude beyond rude. They even hang up on you when u ask to speak to a manager. Jennifer will hang up on ya.(Mansfield park). Answering machines all the way up and including the corporate office. Beside hanging up on you Holly(corporate office) is condescending. The cabanas come with a waiter. U have to hunt your waiter down and if u can't find your assigned waiter asking for a bottle of water that u actually paid for is a challenge. They tell u to use the water fountain. Really? I wanted to let parents of children who are autistic know that if your child needs a certain type of mask to swim, Hawaiian Falls would not be he place to go. Though my child uses a mask with nose piece at most major gyms and to swim in the Special Olympic swim team, management at the park and HQ would not accommodate him. Sensory friendly places are hard enough to find for autistic children, well Hawaiian Falls is one less. Save your child the heartache. read more

My five year old son and I spent his birthday there last year as a mother/son day. After spending all day (1 hour left to closing) I was approached by a "manager" who looked like she was barely 16 and asked to put a shirt on or leave the park. Funny thing is...I had been there all day long and had heard the staff (again, group of young boys and girls) talking about a "woman that was very well endowed that was showing off her goods". I couldn't imagine who they were talking about and was anxious to see this side-show of a person the kids were talking about. I had on black athletic windshorts and a tankini top --- not even a bikini. There were so many skimpy bikinis at this park on this particular day, and I was the one in a conservative outfit. The "manager" tried to be professional in her confrontation, but placing someone in management at that age, this is impossible. I spoke with the park manager. He apologized and gave me tickets to return. What an embarrasing conversation to have with this male manager! I gave the tickets away as a gift as I will never be returning to this park again. What an embarrassment!!! The only difference between this young manager telling many of the overweight people I saw on this particular day to put some clothes on and myself is a lawsuit. Bummed that some season passes I bought on Groupon have buddy passes and others don't. Today after coming since the beginning of the season I was told I couldn't bring in a bag of food... because it was breakfast from Chick-Fil-A. The rules seem to change every time we come. This was the first year I needed a smaller water park for my two year old and in the toddler area she was taken out and then a shirt bit later my 70 year old mom was taken out while holding my 2 year old. Not sure if we will do this park again in the future. We gave it a good test run. The bathrooms can get really disgusting as well. But for the most part, the park is pretty clean. But saw a kid cut her foot pretty badly one time and the blood trail was left for others to walk in, while where she stood was cleaned with chemicals and brushes??? Not sure if they ever found what cut her foot. I am thinking this is a mini Hurricane Harbor now that I am ending this review. read more

Overall, this was a great family experience and it was very fun. It is a bit pricy, but you can get discounted tickets at the grocery store Tom Thumb. The water slides are family friendly, with rafts that fit 2-3 people , or you can be a single rider. We enjoyed the Hawaiian Half Pipe, which is a slide that boomerangs you backwards half way through the slide. I do not like water slides that much, but these were designed well and I didn't get motion sickness or have too much anxiety about it. We also rode a really fun slide called the Rush. We rode as a pair, on a raft, and this slide is in a tube that flashes lights and plays the song of your choice as you slide. (party rock anthem). The only problem with the slides is that the wait was a bit long for as short as the lines were, but it is because the life guards are very safe with making sure everyone is all clear before the next raft slides, so I can't fault them for that at all. Also, we had the pleasure of renting a bungalow for the afternoon which was awesome. It was $75 for the day , which provided a private , shaded structure , all you can drink of anything, and a free locker , plus an attendant that waited on you continuously . It was worth the $75. They also would take food orders (for extra ) all day as well. Our attendants name was Halle, and she did a wonderful job. She had several bungalows to serve, but she remained consistent, friendly, and we had excellent service all day from her . The only complaint that I have about Hawaiian Falls is that they seemed under staffed . The staff that they did have were very hard workers who genuinely cared about the families there . I think that if they had more staff that it would be a 5 star family place for fun. We had a great time . Definitely bring sunglasses and sunscreen ;)) read more

The experience and lack of service we received will definitely keep our family from returning to the Mansfield location (and probably the others as well). From the beginning of the day it was nothing but trouble and horrible customer service! We had 3 free kids tickets and 10.00 off 2 adult tickets, but that is not the deal we paid for! Half-priced books informed that we would get half priced tickets and ALL 3 of our children would get in free. Instead, we paid 75.00 (about 50.00 more than we budgeted for). The obvious reason for the horrible customer service would be the observation that no one over 21 works at this location. The workers are more concerned with gossip instead of greeting and serving the customers who are paying their paychecks! Another problem was the lack of attention by the lifeguards. One girl flirted with the same boys for the entire 5 hours we were at the park. Others were day dreaming instead of watching the water, but what really stood out was when a small child was hurt due to the inattention. These lifeguards let the children pile up at the bottom of the slide and a child collided into another resulting in a busted forehead. Even worse, the parents were nowhere to be found. All of the kiosks are extremely overpriced as well. We ended up spending about 150.00 over the course of the day when we could have gone to Bahama Beach and spent half of that! read more

If you eat or drink anything from sharkey, be prepared to be greeted with attitude. I think that Hawaiian Falls is geared more towards families and children but that's what makes it one of the best water parks in the DFW area. Here's why: it's clean, there are tons of safe rides for children, they let you bring in your own food and coolers (for $10), they always have tons of specials, and you don't need to rent or buy floats for the lazy river and the wave pool. I've been to both Hurricane Harbor and Hawaiian Falls and have loved every experience at HF over HH. HH is pricey, crowded and filthy. I think that if you prefer the more adult rides at HH and you don't have children then just go to HH. read more

The park itself is a really good time. The rides are well maintained and pretty fun. I rented a cabana for the day with the expectations of attentive service as described on the web page. Not so much. While I won't blame our server because he was doing the best he could, the park did a horrible job of staffing. There were only 2 servers to attend to ALL off the cabanas and bungalows in the park. Yes only TWO! There are over 25 total bungalows and cabanas so this was ridiculous. This caused the service to be VERY slow and because he was so over tasked and overwhelmed orders were forgotten or incorrect. This did sour our experience some because we paid a pretty penny for this service. The food itself was average amusement park fare. Not the best but not the worst. I wish there was a way to leave zero stars. The customer service sucks. Staff is extremely rude. We took our family of 5 there. Paid over $120 for tickets. My 4 year old was going on sides all morning with my husband and oldest daughter. Then I wanted to take him on one, we waited over an hour and 10 min in line to get to the top for them to say he is to short. He already went down this slide 3 times with my husband. I spoke with a supervisor he said that there is nothing he could do and laugh it off. I asked for someone higher up. He would not give me the time of day. I asked for reimbursement for his ticket. I really hate only giving this place two stars but there is so much improvement that needs to be done here. A lot of the food was unavailable cause they simply did not have it in stock (it was not sold out). Also, the employees just don't seem to want to be there. One boy was urinating outside and we told some of the workers but they laughed it off and did not care. We also asked about the slides but the worker mumbled and didn't really care to answer. Clean water park that has enough rides to satisfy. Today's experience was special. I'd had lost my $, debit, and ID on one of the slides. I'll skip how brainless I was in doing that. I immediately went to the first person I could identify as capable, his name was Lance. He immediately spread the word at all the vendor outlets and started wheels in motion. Within 5-10 minutes three young ladies had turned in my lost items. Lance introduced me to them (he knew who they were) and it was so good to thank them for giving me and my kiddos our day back. We enjoyed the rest of our day and the relaxed vibe that this location has. There really is a difference here, it's why we come here and make our memories. This place is really frustrating to deal with!! Rented a cabana for grand children that I thought were coming in July. Plans fell through and needed to cancel. Could never get a real person on the phone and all voice mails were full. Sent email and never responded to. Finally after contacting someone in corporate got a response but said I probably wouldn't get a full refund even though I cancelled more than 30 days out. What a ripoff!!
