On top of that, they damaged multiple items (flat screen TV which no. longer works, dressers, room divider, lamp, shoe rack, wood floors, walls). I should have known better when they didn't even bring a dolly or straps to move our heavy items. They stopped responding to my text messages once they were paid. They are VERY quick to call you with a low quote and just as quick to not refund you. They seem kind but are not professionals.

The delivery driver had 7 pages of exceptions, items which he inspected prior to loading on his truck that were damaged. He said 2 pages was normal. Boxes were crushed and punctured. Furniture was broken and scratched. When we got the claim response they offered $172 after our $500 deductible and claimed that since we did the packing it was our fault. I worked at a moving company as a summer job so it's not like I haven't seen things done the right way. It doesn't matter how you pack a box if it is crushed and punctured....oh and it had glass written on two sides of the box. Stay away.

The job did not start as planned due to uncontrollable circumstances. However, Miguel and Melvin stepped up and made it right. They were all getting the job done efficiently, safely, and correctly as soon as they arrived to the pick site. It was clear that they knew what they were doing and quickly squashed any concerns we had. They even went above and beyond by relocating another piece of furniture for us. What should have been a straightforward move from one three-bedroom apartment to another took around 7-8 hours with two movers and a rented U-Haul truck. After I had already paid the agreed-upon price in advance, I was told I owed an additional $500 because the move took longer than expected. I did not feel this was handled fairly or professionally. The most upsetting part was the damage to my property. My 65-inch TV was cracked, and my daughter's two work monitors were also damaged during the move. When I reported the damage, the company denied responsibility, claiming that I must have packed already-broken electronics because they were already boxed. At no point did anyone inspect or test the TV or monitors before moving them, yet they still accused me of giving them damaged items. When I raised my concerns, I was simply told everything was covered by the contract. However, no one sat down with me to explain the contract or point out any terms about TVs, monitors, or liability before the move. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. Overall, I felt pressured to pay more than the agreed price and left with damaged property and no resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend M&M; Moving Company. If you choose to use them, I strongly encourage you to carefully review every part of the contract, document the condition of all of your belongings with photos and videos before the move, and be sure you understand all potential charges before signing.

They were hired for 3 hours to load and unload my moving truck. First of all, they were 2 and a half hours late getting to my apartment with no call stating they would be late. When they arrived, the truck was almost all the way loaded thanks to my 2 sons so there wasn't much left for them to load. They were very slow workers. It took them the full 3 hours to finish loading and unloading the truck at my new apartment. This left no time for them to reassemble my furniture that they disassembled to load onto the truck. They would have charged me an additional $160 for another hour of work just to reassemble my furniture. I was disappointed with this company. I expected more from the highest rated company.

And the new home is on an island not accessible by car! Top Notch handled it ALL!! The crew packed everything up in Baltimore to be kept safe and sound in storage through the winter. When our new home was move in ready the following May, they took care of the move from storage reassuring us there was no need for us to make the trek back down to Baltimore to "supervise". They assured us and took care of everything on that end for us. Then they coordinated with the barging service in Portland, Maine, drove the 10 hours north in 2 full trucks, and as tides demanded, boarded a 6:30am boat across Casco Bay for the hour-long boat ride in some Maine spring weather. Instead, he casually offered to "send over a guy" -- no credentials, no accountability, no professionalism. When I asked for proof of insurance -- which any legitimate moving company should have -- they admitted they had no coverage for moving-related damages. That's right: they operate without the basic protections required to safeguard your property. And despite repeated requests, they've failed to provide any documentation or take responsibility. They acknowledged only one photo of damage, ignored offers to submit more, and tried to walk away from the situation without resolution. Their conduct was evasive, dismissive, and frankly insulting. If you value your time, money, or belongings, do not hire this company. I've filed formal complaints and will pursue legal action if necessary. This business should not be trusted with anyone's property.
