I recently got vision insurance and the Juliet Blvd location was the top listed provider on my insurance. My husband went for an eye exam there was told under no uncertain terms that they did not take our insurance which would have been a $10 copay and he paid approx $100. We went back a week or so later to pick out glasses only to be told from the woman helping us again that they absolutely did not take our insurance. We tried to reason with her and explain our insurance told us to go there but she wouldn't hear of it. We left with no glasses. I called back a day later and the woman then on the phone was rude said they were busy, I should be quieter, and that she really couldn't help me anyway because she gets off work soon (it was 10am!) but I could call tomorrow and ask for a manager. I confirmed with my insurance again that they take it. The level of unprofessionalism and rudeness in this optical store are out of this world. No one offered to take the phone number to call and check if we had coverage, nothing. Just rudeness. They could learn something from the staff at the North Naples Location. It's time as consumers we start standing up for the way we are treated by employees of retailers and restaurants everywhere.

I placed an order on Father's Day (Sunday) and accidentally selected the wrong lens color. I realized the mistake immediately and tried to cancel or modify the order right away, but there was no way to do that through the website. Turns out, the only way to cancel or make changes is to contact support, but unfortunately, support only works during business hours, so I couldn't reach anyone on Sunday. I submitted a help ticket and emailed support immediately, asking them to cancel the order. To my surprise, they told me it was too late to cancel or modify the order, even though the product won't be delivered for about 7 more days. How is it possible that you can't even make changes to an order that was just placed less than 24 hours ago and hasn't shipped yet? Now I'm stuck having to wait for the delivery, pay for shipping, and go through the hassle of a return and refund. This was especially frustrating because it happened on a holiday, and there was no customer service coverage at all. This process is not customer-friendly at all. Oakley, please improve your order management system to allow customers to cancel or edit their orders shortly after placing them -- especially for orders that clearly haven't shipped yet.

There is not a revolving door of patients where you sit in a waiting room for eternity and get limited time with the Doctor. They have the latest technology, high end scans to detect eye disease and doctors that truly care. My optician actually offered frames for a narrow face ( who knew?) that fit my face perfectly and great discounts they send you for being a client as well as my eye insurance. Great name brands like Kate Spade and Ray Ban and lots of colors to please even finicky shoppers like me. I worked for an Opthalmologist several years ago and so I believe I know good service when I see it. I liked that my scans were all reviewed for any concerns and I was free to ask any questions. I was visually shown how my prescription minuscule changed by using my glasses then using a sample lens of the new RX. My optician is so sweet and he spent time making sure my glasses fit and looked perfect and I got a great deal. Don't judge this place because it's a chain. Service , expertise will keep you coming back like I do.
