Could definitely improve Customer Service!! I will stop by when I get back from Europe to talk to them! My glasses broke within 5 months of purchase! And I had to pay again! And they wouldn't ship them to Europe for Me!?!,, so sent to My Daughter in USA and she s my them here, but that just added atleast 3-4 days before I have the frames!! Terrible Customer service!! Appointment made... No call to confirm, no waiting longer than 5 minutes before they blow you off with a cheesy grin... seriously seemed to be excited to not see the last patient of the day! The doctor only waits 5 minutes before they leave facility. We planned our work day around this appointment, drove 30 minutes to get there, arrived 5 minutes late and was told we just missed the doctor at 3:35. Then an hour later at 4:30 received a cancellation text. I will not use this facility ever. What a terrible experience & disappointment. read more

I went here because of nice Yelp reviews. Went there, ordered and paid. Guy said ready 3/26. Late day I called. Rude woman put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back saying they're not ready until tomorrow. I called back Saturday and same woman acted like I was nuts because no one there to work on glasses. It's Saturday! Will be ready Monday. I call 3pm Monday. 10 minute hold. Not ready-call Tuesday. I ordered glasses because I need them. Poor service. Won't be back. read more

Was working at a conference in this area and had my rigid gas permeable lens get stuck to my eye. After hours of trying everything to get it out, went to Eyeglass World & Dr. Sanchez was awesome & popped it out in 2 seconds safely. Highly recommend Dr Sanchez for his courtesy & professionalism. Had an appointment set up for 1230pm. There was one doctor and several people waiting. My wait was about 45 minutes for a semi-thorough exam. Perhaps I'm not familiar with this type of set up as usually getting eye exams at more medical type facility. It was okay. I probably would not recommend. However the gal that fit me for glasses was thorough and very personable. read more

I ordered flat line bifocals with minor correction in the top and 2.5 magnification on the bottom. Eye glass standard for the bifocal is 2.5 magnification at 14 inches from the eye. The glasses were made with 2.5 magnification at 9-10 inches from the eye. That is far too close for reading. While the staff was cheerful and pleasant they did not accept the failure of the lense crafter. I left with the glasses so I could at least watch tv better but now must change back to my old bifocals to read read more

I have been going to this place for 3 years now for eye glasses and contacts . I wanted a different type of trial & the first time I talked to the lady she hung up trying to explain the situation. The next time she picked up wouldn't hear me out and hung up on me again. The third time I called she answered the phone and put me on hold . Some other lady answered and she didn't even want to hear why I was upset or try to figure out how to help the situation when I said I will not be using them again. I am so disappointed and just wanted to get my contact trial switched . will be removing my family from this practice and telling my friends about this . never again . read more

I am so impressed by the people who work here that I had to let everyone else know about this business that cares about their clients. This is a review for the entire business, mind you, but I need to point out that Tom and Paul the mgr assisted me today. I recieved a call from Tom a couple of days ago but it went straight to vm. He explained that my Rx would be running out in a couple of days but if I needed my contacts or another pair of glasses, to let him know and he would get in contact with the doctor and make it happen. This was a very important call for serveral reasons. Number one, I need to see and I cannot see without contacts or glasses. Number two, he made it so easy, just call him and he will make sure that I get my needed eyes, as my mom so often called my contacts. I have always had a great experience with this store but I have to call attention to this business because we are all going thru a tough time in the world, note the date on this post. Corporate, do the right thing and please keep this business open for our community and recognize these two peeps please, they are assets to our neighborhood and community. Tracey was very rude and unprofessional. I called ahead about the two pairs of glasses I had purchased and was told that my glasses would be ready by 5pm. A couple days ago I was told the same thing except only one pair was ready so I decided to wait and pick them both up today. The problem was they were not ready by 5pm, again, and I was scolded at by Tracey when she claimed she told me 6pm. Once I received my glasses, I noticed residue separate from the markings on the lenses. Upon asking about this Tracey seemed to get annoyed. She explained it to me and continued to clean the first pair. After that I was told my second pair would be ready in 10 minutes. Once they were ready she handed them to me, again, I noticed a different residue from the lens markings. Tracey got frustrated and started to explain what she said earlier even though it was not what I was referring to. While vigorously cleaning my glasses she ended up breaking my frames when cleaning them. She gave me a new frame with my now cracked sunglass lens. The case for the sunglasses was also damaged for some reason, and she was sorry and will be ordering a new pair along with the that I will pick up in the next couple days. This location was great. It was a warm welcome from the time I walked in, until the time I walked out. The eye doctor & his staff was very thorough and friendly. Chelsea went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect pairs of glasses and I was able to get my new glasses same day. Pricing was unbeatable. Martha was helpful in making sure my new glasses were adjusted when I picked them up. Definitely recommend! read more

Poor communication skills. I've had order delays/issues with them in the past, but my most recent issue with them was the final push I needed to write this review. I bought my 1 and 1/2 months worth of contacts from them beginning of April, and towards the end of May I called to order more. To my surprise, my prescription had expired at the end of April so I was unable to order more without a new prescription. No one informed me contact prescription expire yearly- from the moment I got my eye exam the year before to my last order with them. In the end, this entire ordeal wouldn't have been an issue if their ineffective communication didn't impact something that I use to see. For anyone who is new to contacts, prescriptions expire yearly - not two years like they do for glasses. I hope this helps! read more

Dr. Van was my doctor here and is AMAZING! I called to this location recently (and to Paige Field) after finding out he was no longer practicing here and they would not tell me where he had relocated to. Very unprofessional. Well, I searched and found him and he is now in his own practice at the Fort Myers Costco on the corner of Cypress Lake Drive and US41. I won't see anyone else for my eyes; he is thorough and very well educated. So, if anyone else is looking for Dr. Van, now you can find him again. read more
