Amazing meal at OPSO! Every dish was so tasty- my highlights include the ceviche, feta kataifi, and pita with tzatziki. The octopus was also very good but I liked the bed of orzo underneath even more- it had a creamy risotto like texture.

Dined here in 2016. Interior design is on point - clean lines and modern. Food served is like tapas style. Small plates, reasonably priced. Greek food here has a modern twist so of you want the big serving traditional Greek food - you're better off finding another place. Food was good the first time we went there. We decided to come back again with friends, but strangely it didn't taste as good as I remembered it to be. There are more seating downstairs. It was quite busy the third time we came and nearly fully booked.

The weekday brunch menu features a good variety of modern Greek and classic meat and pasta dishes. Mediterranean starters like the tahini yogurt and Greek salad taste fresh, clean and has plenty of acidity to go along while sprinkles of dill add a herbal undertone. The chicken dish was a crowd pleaser because it was just so moist throughout. The pasta dishes (mushroom risotto and maniatiki village pasta with a runny egg on top) was a tad bit too salty for our taste. Ambience is modern and staff is very friendly. For the quality and taste, the food is definitely too pricey and is the reason I didn't give it more than 3 stars.

OPSO Bendict with salmon and Feta Saganaki.

Beautiful design, friendly service, flavorful food and wonderful tableware. There are so many amazing sounding dishes on the menu, so we had a hard time choosing! We went for the Koulori Briam which is basically a 'bagel' stuffed with grilled vegetables, cheese and stacked crispy chips. Hits the spot. We shared some Feta Saganaki which was delicious. Perfect for dipping and to accompany most dishes. The OPSO Benedict with salmon & dill was nice but nothing amazing. Portions are quite small so make sure to order plenty of sides and dips.

Tsoureki (a spiced bread similar in texture to brioche) with hazelnut spread

Happy accident. Arriving too early for the nearby Pizza Nativa I thought I can give Oopso a go (I checked Yelp first). And what a great go that was! After quick research I started with Tsoureki which turned out to be a brioche-like round bake sprinkled with roasted almonds and with hazelnut sauce on the side. The real event started with the smell - green, sappy, cedar, pine cones, amazingly fresh and very non-brioche. This is thanks to the addition of traditional greek spice - mastic (also known as arab gum) which is a sap from a tree local to the mediterranean area. The nutty spread beautifully complimented the sappy notes resulting in a pungent and delicious combination. The second dish I tried was a waiters recommendation for a classic greek dish (after Tsoureki I wanted more Greece :)) - sourdough with scrambles eggs, cherry tomatoes and goats cheese. Twice the price and none of the novelty, hmmm. Anyway, for introducing me to a new flavour experience - 5 stars

OPDO Benedict. Very tasty

Everything about OPSO is excellent. However, i tried a mix berries pancake and the berries were frozen.

Yummy! I absolutely loved the food from opso. I shared plates with my friends hence I got to try a variety of dishes. I loved the scrambled eggs with avocado, tomatoes and feta cheese (which did not taste like the feta cheese that I have tried in the past), I also enjoyed the croquette. I'd definitely come back. Oh, hot chocolate was also delicious. Yummy!

We've been waiting for Opso to open in the neighbourhood. They have outdoor seating which is great because we have a dog and we tried them out for breakfast this weekend. Food: We ordered the eggs and soldiers which the eggs were pretty standard, but the soldiers had cheese on them which made them different and delicious. We also ordered the pancakes which was actually just one pancake that had cream cheese, strawberry jam and berries (today were blueberries). I have to tell you that the pancake although just one was AMAZING! I am not sure what kind of batter they use, but it was delicious and I could've eaten 10 of them. Drinks: We ordered three lattes. Price: 22.95 GBP for two people. Definitely reasonable. Ambiance: We sat outside which was really nice because the sun was out. Paddington Street isn't too busy with foot traffic so you can eat in peace. Service: Very attentive staff. Our server was not only friendly, but very nice. Would I go back? Yes! Can't wait to try out their lunch and dinner menus.

Wow, this place was quite a find. Staff was seriously attentive & very kind. The food was absolutely phenomenal with larger than expected portions. We ordered a hummus & Tzatziki with bread. We couldn't finish it all because the portions were so large. We also ordered the Greek Salad which included Tomatoes, large chunks of creamy goat cheese, & olives. It was so delicious we couldn't believe it. Plus they have a great drink selection. I was so impressed by this restaurant. I would highly highly recommend this place to others.

Meatball Tara tee was delicious!

One of my favourite easy places to eat. Trendy, cool ambience, friendly staff, great food. They tend to change the menu a little bit every time I go there - whether for a coffee or for a feed. Means the menu is always fresh but high quality.

Everything went well. The food was magnificent. The service could not have been better and the ambience is good.

Food was okay. I remember the breakfast was better than the dinner options they have. Nonetheless, the experience was a good experience

Maybe my friend over-sold it and got my expectations up too high, because I was pretty disappointed in this dinner. We were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said still and were brought out a £4.50 bottle. I know it's common to charge for water in Europe, so I didn't think much about it until I noticed that everyone else around us had refillable glass bottles -- free tap water that we were never even told was an option. We were seated downstairs at a large communal table. I don't necessarily mind that, but it was so loud that having a conversation was very difficult. My cocktail was delicious, but so tiny. The wine list was decent -- a good mix of options at various price points. As for the food, it was very hit or miss. The mushroom starter and the pork main dish were delicious. Unfortunately, the two most expensive dishes were disappointing. The prawns had great flavor, but a strangely soft, mushy texture. For me, the flavor made the weird texture okay, but my husband couldn't get over the mushiness of the shrimp and hated this dish. The sea bream was very bland and dry -- highly disappointing for the most expensive item on the menu. We ended on a high note with the affogato dessert (Yum!), but for such an expensive meal, there were just a few too many misses for us.

I loved the feel of the place. Small but generous in personal space. Extra effort was made to make sure our party of 6 were comfortable. And the food was delicious. The welcome pre dinner treats such as olives, radishes, and peppers were delightful. Then came the hummus--best I have ever had. The king prawns were simply cooked and wonderful. Everything was so fresh! The calamari, the Greek salad. All excellent. The entrees our party enjoyed included lamb, chicken, spanakopita, falafel, and so much more. If I lived in the area, I would frequent the place. I even commented to my wife that I could see myself landing at LHR and making my way straight to Aphrodite!

To begin with, even without ordering anything, pitas, flava bean salad, and olives, which, by themselves, more than hold their own. The falafels are one of the best I've tasted in London. And the hummus was unbelievable. For mains, the dolmades were excellent. Even the roasted potatoes that our host offered, and which weren't on the menu, were amazing. Overall, the chefs and hosts at the Aprodite Taverna take real joy in feeding people. And I'd definitely go here again: for the food as well as the service.
