The beautiful mural outside caught my eye and I love any opportunity to support our furry friends,…read moreso I had to stop in. This thrift store is relatively small but very organized and packed with all types of treasures. Their prices seemed really fair in my opinion. This thrift store has a lot more antique/vintage items compared to others in the area. They keep those items towards the front. There is also a section for men's, women and kids, toys, dishes, books and more. I liked how organized it felt. Overall it's a great little thrift store with great prices and I will certainly check it out again.

Unfortunately, I had a elderly friend who was in her 90s and had wound up with a feral cat colony that she was trying to feed and take care of on a fixed income. People were dumping cats at her home and she would take them get them fixed and feed them. something happened to one of the cats which was very friendly. He loved to be petted and had an issue with its back and it could hardly walk. I called them and asked them if I could bring the cat in and they could do an x-ray and see what was wrong with the cat because the cat was obviously in incredible pain and falling down. I explained my 90 year old friend was on a fixed income as was I and the cat needed help. They told me I could bring the cat into their clinic but an office visit , X-ray, and rabies shot would be a minimum of $250.00 or more . I explained again it was a cat from a colony and no one owned it. And I couldn't afford it. I asked if I could surrender the cat to get it help and was told they didn't take feral cats! Well there was a rescue in Suntree that took the poor cat and said its spine was broken in 4 places and he was in severe pain and didn't charge me. The animals welfare was the most important thing to the rescue in Suntree. I thought the humane society was supposed to rescue and help sick and injured animals? This one refused to help. I learned my lesson not to donate to them. What a farce.

Andreas spent time answering my questions and telling me about his passion for the business. It was exactly what we were looking for in a provider of service. I was told that I would get the same quality service, and the only change I would see would be the name on the shirt and truck. Nothing could have been further from the truth. I will share the most recent experience about my yard being treated by Orange Pest Control, Cocoa. Keep in mind, my yard had been on a schedule with them for fertilizing, pre and post emergent weed control. On 29 May, my yard received a liquid full treatment ($85.00 cost) and documented that I have weeds in the back yard. After that treatment, a very small amount of the dollar weeds turned yellow around the edges but recovered nicely. Nothing else was even phased by the treatment. I notified their office that the treatment essentially did nothing for my yard. On 10 June, Edwin Leal came out for a Quality Check-in. He saw that my front yard is full of Nutsedge, and my backyard is full of weeds. He posted a couple pictures from my backyard on the customer portal. So, Quality Check-in sees I that have weeds, so he knows what type of weeds I have. On 19 June, my yard gets "full service" treatment. On 6 July, I sent an email, which I tried to make humorous considering the situation, that the weeds are still thriving in my yard and I am guessing some ("Some" as meaning more than "few" but less than "several). The reply, (copied from the email), "We already provided a free full service on June 19th (when it was supposed to be just a follow-up treatment). That was 2 weeks ago, so you are seeing the weeds die now, which confirms the product is working. Tomorrow you were scheduled for your regular lawn treatment service for $85.00." To me that reply essentially says, "Sucks being you, pay us $85.00 or we are not going to treat your yard." My reply was why should I continue to throw Good Faith Money after Bad Money, and think that the result will be different? When I informed them that I wanted to close my account, I got a call from Kylee, the Operations Manager, and she left a voice message. In it, and after spending time explaining her position, and why she was placed in that position (Always interesting when someone has to do that), she said the owner could not come and see my yard for himself because, "Well, he is the owner and is never there". Then goes on to tell me, "There are different products for different weeds". So, shouldn't Edwin know that, from seeing my yard, then ensure it was treated with the right product? I did send pictures from the same area that Edwin took pictures of to show how healthy and big the weeds got. The hesitation and doubt in Kylee's voice when she answered about the company still following Matthew 7:12, as on their website and business cards, tells me, well, I will leave that one alone. Then she wanted to be "fair". So I sent an email, actually sent it twice, with pictures, and questions such as why do I always have weeds? Why does the grass in my yard look the same as my neighbors, when Orange is regularly treating my yard, but my neighbor does nothing but water his every couple days and cuts it once a week. Why is it my back yard has large bare/dead areas, which only started happening since Orange has been treating my yard. I know the excuse will be because it's a dog area. Yes, it is essentially a dog area. We did have three dogs, but now we only have two, so less doggy traffic, and now dead areas. At the end of my email, I asked for an acknowledgement by email, or text, or phone call that she received it. To date, NOTHING. I posted a shorter version of this on a couple of their Facebook Ads a few days ago, and now I am blocked from them. You know, No Reply and being blocked speaks volumes in itself. Your website looks pretty, and you may have started with all that, but I believe those core values are Loooong Gone. Definitely no Matthew 7:12 - "In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you." Wonder why they say "Money Back Guarantee", but they only want more money from me for Unsatisfactory service.
