After numerous attempts at getting as much as a return phone call with most of the other companies, I contacted James (the owner), and not only did he actually answer the phone (unlike many others), he was very accommodating and said he could fit me in the following day. As requested, I sent James pictures of my system and when he arrived, on time I might add, he was able to immediately troubleshoot the problem and change a small part to get my system up and running. Additionally, he fixed a few broken sprinkler heads and made sure all of my system was working properly without draining my wallet. We had a great conversation also and I found him to be honest, fair, and down to earth. Honestly, his simply showing up on time and having phenomenal communication earned him 4 stars alone. He absolutely earned the 5th star for the outstanding performance and fair price. If I could give him 10 stars, he would certainly deserve it! James did what others couldn't or wouldn't do. My mother was looking for plant pots for her garden. I'm so thankful that we came here because I found a beautiful tiny succulent plant and Cary, who was working here today was VERY knowledgeable about how to care for the plants there, including the succulent that we purchased, along with an air plant that we purchased. I've cared for succulents before and I still learned a lot about caring for succulents. Not to mention I learned how to properly care for my air plant. My mom purchased two plants for herself as well and she was told how to care for them by Cary. I also want to talk about the inside store here, it has so many beautiful plants to purchase and they also sell gifts to buy, such as beautiful jewelry. I also found out that they are working towards opening their cafe again here. This is such an amazing place, and to top it off they have Cary, who is an amazing person, working here. He came to our house the same day to see the scope of work and was working on our yard within days as promised. I am pregnant and my husband was injured at the time and we were desperate for our yard to be mowed and a hefty yard project to be complete before our baby shower(hosting lots of important guest to us). The owner himself and another associate came to get the work done. They mowed our lawn and did additional edging and weeding as well. I was beyond impressed as we had just figured we were getting a quick mow. Our yard project was much more excessive. We wanted a paver walkway! We needed a chunk of our yard dug up, weed sheets placed, pavers placed and then mulch. They exceeded our expectations rain and shine! The finished project wasn't exactly what we wanted and the guys took time to perfect it and make it exactly as we wished. Overall for the price and the quality of work this business deserves 10/10 stars. We will for sure be using these guys for all future yard needs and referring them to others in the neighborhood. i hired rockledge lawns and landscaping because while all the other companies said 2 weeks out for…read moresod installation, he said next day. ( shouldve been my first red flag) the est was on par with the rest, i specified where i did not want my sod bought from, he agreed and came next day. he made a few trips with a pick up with sod on it. ( 2nd red flag) i came out to check a couple of times, there were about 3-4 workers and a woman overseeing them. when they left, the job wasnt finished because he ran out of sod ( 3d red flag) he came next day after noon to finish i noticed many areas with uneven hts of sod, missing sod, yellowed grass, and weird space lines throughout with jig saw lines throughout. now, im not from fla and i did not have any experience with how its supposed to look at installation so i took his word that it was all ok and would " fill in" a week later, after much nurturing, the grass is 60 percent dead looking. i call him to get advice. nothing. 3 wks later, the entire lawn on both sides of my house consisting of holes and bits and pieces ( maybe left overs from anther job?) are more evident and now at 80 percent dead. i call again for the 4th time. no answer no call or text back im running to loews and HD every other day for new sod patches, plugs to fill the holes, remedies, and im out there daily trying to bring back the dead. 4 wks now, still no call backs or answer. i paid them over 4000 cash. for their services and still had trees to plant! dont trust anyone and i should've taken 2 days off of work,watched them like a hawk and demanded the quality work and material that was promised and paid for, but definitely did not get this was a very expensive lesson learned and im considering legal action at this point i hope this post saves even one person from making the same mistake hiring this business, as i did. customers be very wary and do your homework
