I've been here going on two weeks, and got tired of eating McDonald's everyday so I ordered this off of GrubHub. So I was not physically in the location. I ordered a Gyro salad, and paid for extra meat. And added feta, and it end up being sliced which was different. All in all everything was pretty decent. It was a bit greasy as another Yelper pointed out. I wish they would have had a little bit more ingredients, like olives and onions and whatnot, that weren't an upcharge but it is what it is. I asked for extra dressing on the side, but didn't get it, BUT I didn't even need it. It was a perfect amount of dressing. The dressing and tzatziki sauce were a little different then What I'm used to, and what I've had all across the country, but it will still good. They actually read my notes and requests, and sent me with utensils and napkins, and omitted the pita bread via my request! Pretty good little spot. Was here yesterday, food was delicious (as always!) the food was delivered to us, by the owner guy to our table. The noise was not loud, but busy place usually! Yes, this local Greek restaurant does have baby seats for kids. The place is recently renovated, (only because it caught on fire in early 2023). I actually like the newer version better. Authentic Greek food from Greek people. Family run, you can hear Greek being spoken in the kitchen which made me very happy. - FRENCH FRIES are SO GOOD. I normally don't like fries bc they all taste like the same frozen shit. For all I know these are the same ones, but however they prepare them is SO GOOD. - Greek Salad with Chicken - the chicken is really tasty, I LOVE it. The salad is much better than a fast food salad but it's a basic salad. This is my go-to order though bc of the chicken. - Souvlaki Pita - my other go-to. Spotted this place one evening and figured I'd give it a shot. Plenty of parking but there is a drive thru and take out in addition to indoor seating. I was greeted as soon as I came in the dining area was not busy but the drive thru and take was. I got the Gyro Salad and a drink for $13. Or came with a large warm pita. The sauce was good and the salad seemed to be fresh. The feta cheese was tasty and the gyro meat was cooked well with a little crust which I liked. The menu has variety from gyros to hot dogs to chicken. Seemed like a good value place for a family. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean overall. They offered burgers, hot dogs and did have options for salad instead of sandwiches. Price: most meals were about $7-$8. Kids meals $4.55. Large ice cream cones for $1.87 Location: not great. This place is legit. I go to Sioux City twice a month for work and have tried most of the non-chain take-out places. Opa Time is my new favorite. There was a line for the drive through so I parked and went inside. It was worth it for the smells, the sound of fat popping on the grill, and, after I ordered the Greek Chicken Salad, getting to watch my skewers of chicken turn golden brown. I threw in an order of stuffed grape leaves too, and both they and the salad were excellent. This place has a bit more of a blue collar feel than Greek to Me, which suits me fine. But if worn floor tiles and a cluttered counter hurt your appetite, then just use the drive through. read more

Always satisfies. Never had a bad meal here. A great variety with Gyros, burgers and now even fried chicken. You definitely get your money's worth. And baklava , omg to die for. The menu is very basic greek food, with a few american items tossed in - chicken strips, shrimp, burger, etc. I was disappointed to not find falafel on the menu, but had a gyro instead. The gyro meat is really good - very well seasoned. The tzatziki sauce was a little runny and mild for my taste, but it wasn't bad. Would we go again?
