I have to say Billy Boy has the best Soft Serve ice cream in town! We have been to every place in the area that serves soft serve ice cream & none compare to Billy Boy. The Flavor Bursts are the best! I believe there are 7 flavors but I could be wrong. It's vanilla ice cream with which ever flavor swirled throughout the ice cream. Absolutely delicious... My husband & I go there everyday (except Monday because they're closed on Mondays) for an ice cream date. It's become our little date time away together. My favorite is Black Raspberry. His is Butter Pecan. If you're lucky you get these little pockets of the flavor bursts inside the ice cream. Extra bonus! I believe the other flavors are Strawberry, Root beer, Tropical Orange & Green Apple along with Black Raspberry & Butter Pecan. I'm not sure if I'm missing one or not. The service has always been polite. Depending on what time you go you can either have no wait or a wait. It's hit or miss. You never know but obviously lunch & dinner time are always busy. If you're looking for a great ice cream cone. (Soft serve) Billy Boy is the place to go! They do serve vanilla & chocolate but why get those when you can get a flavor bursts instead?! read more

Eh, it's ok. My burger was reeeeeeally good, but the fries were mushy and not quite cooked long enough for me. I can't stand mushy fries. They do have good milkshakes. Sometimes you just crave a good milkshake. Their drive-thru is ALWAYS packed, so they have a following. I never go. Reason I went that day was because I was at the community theater rehearsing that afternoon. It's fine. Fried food. Burgers are kinda small, but I'm also kinda fat so maybe I'm biased. For fast food this is a local favorite. Drive thru is always busy. Sometimes we call ahead and order the broasted chicken as it takes longer to make. It's pretty good. The burgers are tasty as well. The onion chips with dip are different and worth a try. Chili dogs on Thursdays are crazy cheap. Tasty soft served ice cream. Billy boys in Sioux City is horrible! Feel free to share. I have never had such horrible customer service! Everybody loves their onion chips and dip. I waited 10 minutes for them making me late for an appointment. Then they didn't give me my dip. If you've ate them you know you need the dip. I couldn't turn around so I called to let them know their mistake and so if they were cold they needed to give me new. The "manager" was horrible. Absolutely refused to do that because they gave me a tub already and not their fault! WHAT!!! I wasted gas, time and money at that establishment how is it not their fault. So I get there and they say we will call the owner to see if we can. I wait and they came back and said she said no. It's completely the worst customer service I have ever seen. read more

The food is great but the staffs are all rude. My fiancé just asked how many more minutes will our food be done since we were in line for 15 mins and they told us to go around. If they told us it'll be done shortly to go around the drive through one more time it'll be fine. EXPLAIN to us not RUDELY DEMAND something. When we came back around for the 3rd time we ask for some sauce. The lady that's fat with the glasses started to proceed rudely with her ums as if she doesn't know any other vocabulary. She told us it's .75 more cent for a bbq sauce??? Really!! They act like it's so hard to grab sauce or anything extra that they mistakenly forgot to put in the bag... there's always a new young cashier every time. Billy Boy is a throwback to oldschool drive-in restaurants and a nice change from McDonalds and other fast food joints. Their sloppy joes and pizza burgers aren't available at other fast food places, not to mention the little coin/chip fries that are curiously hard to come by.
