La Morena was open early and was able to get 2 orders to go really quick. Menudo came with the traditional garnish and hot tortillas! Menudo was so full of flavor and meat was very tender. This places knows what there doing when it comes to cooking menudo. We're passing through again on our way home and will be stopping. Anyone who enjoys menudo on weekends better check this place out. We both were tired from a long drive and what better way to finish the day than a flight of margaritas. A delicious sample of margaritas that were packed with tequila. Not overwhelming but very delicious. Restaurant was busy from the dinner rush, but found a table without issue. Our server was quick to get our drink order and dinner as we were looking to keep it simple. Mi Racherita has every you expect but also had a bar fife this who want to enjoy some food while enjoying good company. Food was quick, generous portions and delicious. The steak, chicken, onions, and peppers were a bit bland, but I found it satisfactory once I had all the fixings set on the fajita. One thing we've struggled with is getting food sent our room and then finding we haven't been given any utensils. This wasn't a problem at all with Mi Familia and it's appreciated seeing that you can enjoy your food immediately and not go on a quest for utensils. I'd eat here again and I'd rate the food to be around a 4, or above average, but the friendly staff are worth the extra star, so I'm going with a 5.

I did ask where the usual gals were. Jessica, one of the boy's mothers came out. I ordered usual. I took it home. Bag with gyros in it was soaked with oil. I took the gyros out. Oil was saturated through two things of foil, dripping onto my floor, and my hands were saturated. I had to wipe them off with paper towels. I called to speak to Jessica, reported the situation. She just said she would tell them to use less oil. She did not seem to care. I tried to eat one, soggy, oil soaked, and not much in it, nothing like usual. For a price of 33$, one drink, two gyros, one fry, two deserts? Not worth it, Ambiance was the same, a few people and nothing special. Obviously these kids did not know what they were doing. I will NEVER return again, I threw both gyros away. Waste of money. I ate a few bites prior and feel sick. I would no longer recommend. They are searching for manager and assistant. I am very disappointed. No understanding, caring or empathy involved. Smh, money is tight. Ps: A few bites and two hours later sick, cramps and nauseated. Never again!!!!
