We hired OP Construction to add master suite and renovate our house by relocating kitchen, updating heating and AC, and along with elevate foundation to open plan design. We are happy with the outcome of our project. Orlando was professional and pleasant to work with. We have recommended OP to our family. We recommend OP for big projects or small project. read more

Please I recommend to reconsider before hiring this contractor. Orlando is very unprofessional - always trying to find the cheapest material and way out. Spent 50k for a room addition - roof is leaking because they did not add a flashing, electrical (light in restroom and outlets) not working, workmanship is horrible - only 3 years and the wood around my addition is coming apart. I've reached out for them to come fix these things and they send a worker just to tell me it will be more $$$. They do not take pride in customer service nor their work - just seemed like they were hiring guys at Home Depot to do the work. I wish I never contracted them. I should have been satisfied after spending that much money!! read more

Beware-OP Construction pays to advertise on Yelp but do a background check and you'll find that they were sued in 2022 and 2024. And there are multiple complaints to the CA State Licensing Board, including my recent complaint for illegal business tactics and overcharging. If you hire OP Construction, you'd better hope you're one of the projects that he prioritizes. If not, you'll get crap work by day laborers who he doesn't even supervise. If you do decide to hire them, take pictures to document everything and if they do a crappy job like they did at my house, contact Yelp for their $2500 service refund guarantee. This is what I had to do and Yelp saw all the pictures and evidence and awarded me a $2500 refund. Hiring OP Construction to remodel my kitchen was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. From the very beginning, communication was sloppy, deadlines were missed repeatedly, and the workmanship was appalling. What was supposed to be a 4-week project dragged on for over three months, with no clear updates or accountability. The crew frequently showed up late--or not at all--and left my home in complete disarray every day. Cabinets were installed crooked, the countertop had chips along the edge, and the backsplash was sloppily grouted with visible gaps and uneven tiles. When I pointed these things out, I was met with excuses or outright dismissiveness. Even worse, they damaged my plumbing and electrical panel and refused to take responsibility. I eventually had to bring in another contractor to fix their mistakes, which cost me thousands more on top of what I'd already paid OP Construction. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the headache. This company is unprofessional, careless, and lacks even basic standards of quality or customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone--ever. read more

I hired OP Construction to help with some major upgrades for BrioVista Senior Care, and I'm extremely happy with the results. Orlando, the general contractor, was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. He remodeled the bathroom, installed a fire-rated door, exit door, and smoke detectors--all done to code and with great attention to detail. What really stood out was his clear communication, reasonable pricing, and how clean and organized the space was throughout the project. He took pride in his work and made sure everything was done right. I highly recommend OP Construction to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality work. Will definitely be calling them for our next project. read more

OP Construction did an exceptional job from begging to end. Our master bath and hall bathroom, both built in 1956, were completely remodeled in less time than anticipated and within budget. Orlando's personality lends itself to building great rapport with clients. I know my husband and I felt like having a friend in the construction business. He was caring, attentive and addressed every concern, every question, every change. He made certain we did not make any mistakes in the purchases of any finishes. Communication was great throughout the project. Orlando also made sure to to provide a crew of dedicated, hardworking, talented (tile installation was a work of art) and respectful individuals. They would be on time everyday, performed their duties all while making sure the rest of the house was protected from construction debri AND would clean up at the end of every workday! They were also very nice and sweet to Oso, my dog. All in all, we highly recommend OP Construction. Orlando made my vision of a timeless bathroom come true. Incidentally, we have chosen OP Construction to build our ADU! read more

So let's start off with that I had contacted 12...that's TWELVE...contractors to get quotes for our home renovations and OP Construction came through as a frontrunner for time, cost, communication and responsiveness. Though not the lowest, OP Construction was not the highest neither. Our house received a complete remodel of the kitchen, two bathrooms, new floors and paint throughout, and creating a new bedroom. It was a lot of work. I had a detailed list of all the things we wanted and I had a spreadsheet for all the things we needed to buy. This helped me share and confirm that what we wanted would work in the construction. There was also many things I didn't realize that I needed to get, and Orlando would walk us through what was needed and why. Being newbies to home renovations, we didn't know what to expect. But Orlando was upfront, responsive and transparent throughout the entire process. We paid a small deposit at the signing of the contract, and then we had a scheduled weekly payment plan. We got a lot of unscheduled surprise visits from city inspectors, and each time we would fear the worst. However Orlando eased our concerns by dealing with them professionally and addressing every issue raised by them without a problem. We always tried to do daily checks on the progress. This allowed us to see how the work was going, and address things that didn't meet our expectations or have questions about. Try as we might to stick to the original build plans, we did have a handful of change orders and OP was transparent on time and cost. In the end, we've had a lot of compliments of the updates we've made. We're looking forward to finally settling in our new home. read more

I contacted several companies to get a quote for my remodeling projects. Many contractors were challenging to deal with. Orlando was prompt in his responses. He was very professional and he provided quotes for my room addition and bath room remodeling projects. He was not the cheapest but he was able to get close to the lowest quote I got. His team did a very good job remodeling our bathroom in these challenging times. We are happy about it. I already asked him for the estimation of my next project! read more

Orlando and his team did an excellent job rennovating our enclosed patio! Our original patio from the previous owners had mold and was in terrible condition due to rain and flooding for many years. I was most concerned with the safety hazard and Orlando was able to present a solution to us and deliver on each one of the items. He really put my mind at ease with his expertise, prompt responses, and attention to detail. His pricing is transparent and fair and we are extremely content with the finished product! My neighbor recommended Orlando Perla's construction company and I'm glad I chose him to paint my house. He was prompt with an estimate and because he has a crew of workers, there was no long delay to get started. He may not be the cheapest bid, but he believes in doing things right. I also decided to use him to build a fence, gate and new porch steps. I plan to use him for some other projects soon also. read more
