Jennifer from Niagara Falls is completely right. Everyone waited way too long for food. The cook spends more time talking and wandering around the place with no sense of urgency. After 23min, I asked if the panini I ordered was close to being done. "I'll start it right after I finish this" was the answer. I canceled the order. This is my last Monday going there since this only seems to happen on Mondays. Every other day of the week I've been there it takes 10min to get a sandwich and it's usually great. The young woman that took my order was very pleasant, but I was so disappointed at the quality and taste (it was drowned in balsamic vinaigrette reduction) of what should be a classic sandwich. I got yelled at today at this place. I'm amazed by your customer service! I go into this deli shop and ask for an ice cream cone. This young lady working goes and checks, and then tells me "the lids are on the ice cream, therefore we can't make an ice cream cone." Clerk tried to overcharge me for an item. I pointed out the sign in the display case showed a different price. He ignored the displayed price and said the computer price is always right despite what the price is displayed to the customer. wtf kind of scam is that? I'm pretty sure that's also illegal. I pointed this situation out to management in an email and that's their policy, they don't care what prices they have on display that the customer thinks they are paying, it's the computer price they will charge. I came to Ithaca for a day trip and they were the only non expensive place I could find that was open. I came in and was delighted by a clean and warm environment. It was very busy but the staff were doing very well with the resources they had. Everyone was kind and worked great as a team. Service was slow but they were in the middle of a lunch rush. They had gluten free and vegan options. They had a good variety of drinks. Honestly, I wish I had brought my laptop so I could stay and work for hours.
