I reserved a particular car because I am thinking of buying one. While I was waiting for parts to come in, I decided to rent a car for a week. They didn't have the car I asked for in and no one in the area did so they "upgraded me to size category up." Well I took the car and hated it. There wasn't anything about it I liked. So I called the next day to ask if there was anyway I could get something else. When I got there they had found the vehicle I had originally asked for. They gave me that car and took a bit off my bill.( I didn't ask them to and didn't expect them too but they did) the young man told me to let him know if I didn't like this one and made sure I was happy with everything before I left. If you make a reservation with one of these large rental places you have to understand that they can't always guarantee you'll get what you ask for but enterprise took the time to make sure I got what I wanted to the limited amount they could. Kellen showed us the two cars we were interested in and gave great advice on which would be better for our needs and the price, which was exactly what we thought also. He showed us car fax and comps for similar vehicles within 300 miles and their prices are a bit below average. He stayed late, answered all our questions, wasn't pushy and gave us time to discuss what we wanted and the opportunity to think it over that night. We hadn't planned on buying right away but when we found what we wanted, we couldn't pass up such a good deal. He followed up the next day and was really helpful in getting things set up to purchase. We weren't sure what to do - because we had more to take then our van could fit. Brady and Kellen heard about our story and reached out to us to see what they could do. To make a long story short, they found a way for us to use one of their vans for a cross country trip - just so we could get our daughter the medical care she needed in New Orleans. This really isn't the thing you do if money is your main aspiration and pursuit. Their kindness and trust made a HUGE difference for us as a family - not only in being able to make the trip comfortably, but learning some things to help our daughter Olivia, who has a serious seizure disorder. It's hard enough to know who to trust these days, but maybe especially when you're looking for a car. From experience, I can tell you that you can trust Brady and Kellen. DOUBLE-CHARGED us and then had the audacity to simply say "nope" when confronted in person about it without ever asking us for proof of it (see attached). They said they would send us our money back but they didn't only until after we reported them to the Better Business Bureau. If they scam you make sure you report them to BBB, that is the only way they will give you back your money! This Budget Rental is a total scam!!

Save yourself the headache and rent from literally anywhere else…read more After multiple mistakes (and I do mean multiple), I was actually told by the "manager" to try a different location because this branch is essentially a training ground and "not equipped" to handle things. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. We rent cars regularly for business and gave this location chance after chance for over a year. Like clockwork, every single month came with a new issue--overcharges, missing deposit refunds, conflicting information, and zero accountability. Just when you think things are finally sorted, they find a new way to mess it up. The experience feels less like customer service and more like a game of "let's see what we can get away with this time." Cars were consistently given to us on empty, then magically documented as "full" so they could tack on fuel charges. Rates we were told were "locked in" (confirmed by multiple employees) changed without warning. One car reeked of cigarette smoke, and when we pointed it out, the response was essentially, "Yeah... we have a rule about that, but we don't enforce it." Inspiring. Policies seem to change depending on who you talk to, which means you can't trust anything you're told--today's answer won't be tomorrow's. The cherry on top? When I asked to escalate my concerns, I was told the manager had no manager and was the highest level I'd be "allowed" to speak to. That's not leadership--that's avoidance. We even followed their suggestion to try another location, only to be sent right back to the same branch a couple months later--the one that openly admitted they couldn't handle the rentals. At this point, it's not bad luck--it's a pattern. Whatever deal you think you're getting, you're not.
