This is probably the most unreliable delivery service available. Was expecting a package last Friday, but got a message saying it would be delivered on Saturday. The business was going to be closed, so I immediately submitted an office hours change. My tracking number showed there was a ticket initiated. They tried to deliver on Saturday anyway. I checked again, and it still showed an existing ticket so I didn't do anything else. They tried to deliver on Monday after the hours I had provided. I chatted with customer service and they indicated it would be delivered in one to two days. I asked why the driver didn't look at the ticket and was told that "they would not presume" to know what the drivers were doing. Called the 800 number this morning and all it does is refer you to the website to track your package. read more

There's no words to explain how shit the job was I did not get paid for the overtime. I worked on the holiday working Thanksgiving and Christmas. I quit within the three months because the service is bad. The Place in general is horrible . I wish that they could find the way to shut the place down. I was a package handler. My job was to take the packages from the conveyor belts and give them to the drivers for them to deliver. Was told to report any packages that were damaged or broken so that's what I did and not even moment after I reported a broken package I was blamed for the package being broken saying that I wasn't being careful enough and I'm telling you I'm very careful at my job when it comes to getting paid for what I do and working hard so I do not recommend working here. It's a shit job only pays 14 an hour. Doesn't give you pay time off, but most of all they don't pay you for your holidays so do not work overtime on holidays. They will not pay you. read more

A package was never delivered and the time limit for package investigation is only 5 days which is ridiculous since some people may not notice right away and also most people will contact the seller first. Truly the most difficult company to get a package from. I have been trying to receive my package from them for 3 days now, everyone knows the 3rd day is when your item gets sent back, Customer service gave me directions to leave a note for the driver with the tracking number my address phone number etc. I did all that and the driver still refused to leave my package at the door with me live on my door camera speaking to him. I've emailed Ontrac customer service and tried calling the building multiple times, which is just a voice response saying to online then hangs up. I will never use them for Delivery. I ordered a small refrigerator from Walmart on Monday that was suppose to be delivered the next day & it never showed up. When I tracked it on Tuesday, it was still in transit from CA. Next day delivery never happened. Tuesday evening I tracked it again & it said it was in town. So I was like ok it'll be delivered Wednesday. Wednesday morning I tracked it & it was on its way to Denver. I was like WTH, I should've just drove to CA & picked it up myself. This is ridiculous. This is a tough review. Its hard describe the nightmare I have had with this delivery company. THE PROS: Their customer service is terrific. They answer right away and try to be helpful. The driver, himself, was wonderful and kind when I finally met him. So what is the problem? CONS: The problem is that OnTrac does not have real-time communication with their drivers. Unlike Amazon they have no idea where their drivers are or when the package will be delivered. All they can do is "page" the driver??? So be prepared for an 8am to 6pm delivery window, with them having no idea where the driver is or when the package may be delivered. I mean ZERO idea. Its as if the driver is on a camel in the Sahara and they have no way of contacting him! Come on, OnTrac. This isn't acceptable in today's connected world. On Trac is the worst logistics Delivery Service in the United States. I ordered 7 shipments from Home Depot they use OnTrac, every driver they use pushes the boxes up against my front security door, I cannot even open the front door to get out because the boxes are leaning against it. I have filed a complaint with Home Depot today. I have a white chair right there with a large sign on it to leave packages on the chair in camera view & ring bell. For 2 years not one OnTrac delivery person has followed these simple instructions but FedEx USPS, Amazon does daily. I have to trip over the boxes after brain dead On Trac drivers deliver it to get out of the front door to get them. Clearly Brains is not one of their hiring driver criteria strong points. I was in the Airfreight Business for 15 years. I try to contact OnTrac dispatch 6 times, they do not want to speak with the public, their bogus shady customer service 800 number goes to a prerecorded " Track Your Packages On Line" message. The first OnTrac Home Depot delivery last year was delivered at 11:PM the box- left out in the rain not by or on the provided front door chair. I got notification from Amazon that my package was delivered via OnTrac tonight but I was concerned because my security cameras didn't pick up any movement at that time. When I got home and saw that there was no package, I called and their rep told me it was scanned at my address and there's nothing they can do unless I want to file a police report. OnTrac used to be a fairly reliable delivery service. Not any longer. Their merger with an East Coast delivery company has rendered them useless. I recently ordered several household appliances. Last mile delivery was provided by OnTrac. I couldn't get a firm delivery date until the day before delivery and then their automated system would only provide a window of 8:00am-9:00pm. The delivery was to a job site. Obviously that window was unacceptable. No phone number was provided on their web site. The state government information for my local depot included a phone number, which was disconnected. The shipper attempted contact a dozen times with no resolution. Delivery was at 4:30 in the afternoon with no warning. The driver was a jerk. He just dumped the fragile items at the threshold and took off without a word. Good luck with these guys. read more

I placed an order with Bath and Body works, you know the yearly bomb sale that they do. In fact, I was home all day today, saw at 3:15 p.m. by email that my package was delivered at 3:03 p.m. NOT HERE! I called customer service hoping to get the driver back ASAP to correct the error. Customer Service put me on hold and came back on and said she sent a message to the driver. She told me that the drivers generally don't answer their messages for a couple of days or even a week! ontrac is a horrible delivery company. i placed two orders for gundry olive oil with agoura health services. agoura uses ontrac to deliver gundry olive oil. ontrac notified me of the date it would deliver my two orders of gundry olive oil to my condo. the delivery date arrived and ontrac notified me that my delivery was on -- pending status---. ontrac wanted more specific delivery in formation from me before it would deliver my two gundry olive oil orders. so; i gave ontrac detailed/thorough/clear information on how to deliver to my condo that a mentally deficient person could follow. then; ontrac notified me that my order was being --- held---ontrac didn't give me a reason why my order was being held. there are several problems with ontrac in my order situation. first; it's inappropriate for ontrac to put my order on --- pending status.--- ontrac's job is to deliver my order. putting my order on-- pending status--- is out of line and inappropriate. second; it's inappropriate for ontrac to put my order on --- held status--- and holding my order and not delivering it. again; it's inappropriate for ontrac to hold my order and not deliver it. agoura health services hired ontrac to deliver my two orders of gundry olive oil to my condo by a specific date. it's completely inappropriate and incompetent for ontrac to put my orders on pending status; and held status; and not deliver my orders. read more

On trac generally has poorly trained delivery drivers. Twice packages were left far away from my front door and left outside the gate. I immediately call Customer Service and was given a lot of scripted rhetoric. I somehow felt this would be noted to the driver. Well it wasn't. The second time a package was brought it was again left at my gate. So that tells me these drivers are not trained correctly. The bottom line is don't order merchandise that uses this company. My first order came from Crate and Barrel and the second package came from Anthropologie. My solution is to either go into these stores in person or just use companies that use Fedx or UPS read more

It really is sad to leave this review as the customer service for this company really is great. When I've called to report an issue, they are truly apologetic and listen. They do not just brush you off. The bad, for the second time now within 2 weeks, I have not received a package from OnTrac. Their system states it is at my door yet I've been home all day and no one came to my door and no Ring notifications for either my door or our front yard showing a delivery. Both companies in question had the correct address, there is no other street name like ours in this city. We live in Las Vegas in a neighborhood so we also are not in the middle of no where. The driver tossed my new laptop over my back fence. I tracked the package and it said left at the front door. I contacted OnTrac to let them know my package was not delivered. The next day they tell me the driver went back and the package was not where he delivered it and I would need to contact Best Buy for a solution. Two days later I find my laptop in my back yard. Awful company! I ordered $300 worth of closing from Zara, it was suppose to be delivered today. At 3 pm I'm going to their track shipment system, it's showing delivered and left at the front door. I was home all day, no one neither knocked or rang the bell. I checked my front door - nothing was there. I called my building management - nothing was left at their office. I asked my husband, he was in the patio mallday - he said he saw their truck stoping by our condo around that exact time when my shipment was marked as delivered, the driver went in to the back of the truck, got inside, then just went back to truck and drove away. I hate when Walmart uses this carrier. You can't receive email updates using the tracking number other than it was delivered. Sometime they knock on my door, sometimes not. I have to open the door every now and then to check so nobody takes it. I have had packages left at 7:30AM to evening. Customer service has insisted my package was delivered and left at my door. This service is horrible! They get a lot of overflow from Fedex. Unfortunately, they do not understand that if you come into an apartment building and just throw the packages on a table, ANYONE living or visiting there csn walk off with it. I live in a secure senior building, where everyone is either a senior or disabled, or both!. We expect packages at our door, especially now during the pandemic. I have had numerous packages taken. Wal-Mart and Chewy use them a lot. They end up having to replace a lot of packages here. If you have packages being shipped, you might ask who the carrier will be before you deliver. Talked to 3 different customer service agents, all of them lied to me. My package been sitting in your warehouse since 12/1/19 and they delivered it on 12/2/19 at 6:43pm. I didn't receive my $134.24 Jacket from Blizzard Gear/Fanatics. Called yesterday 12/3/19 to see what's going on, and found out the worst on a email confirmation that my signature was forged, so some scum courier driver stole my merchandise. I sympathize directly with those other reviewers at 1-star ratings...for lost or misdirected...we too suffered misdirected boxes early in our move late '17-early '18 due to common gate code for two HOAs/separate Pardee new home phases and VERY close street names...confusing back then for drivers and delivery folks of ALL companies.
