On April 6, 2026, I made a purchase from beprepared.com for a Faraday Backpack and SavedByPackage Protection for $1.67 to protect my package if I don't receive it. They used OnTrac as their delivery service, and I never received my order. OnTrac is supposed to be responsible for accurate delivery; however, they failed miserably. Someone took it upon themselves to modify my shipping address. My address is 160 S. ______________, Los Angeles, CA 90004, building 1, apartment 143. It doesn't matter if I list 143-1 or 1-143. The 1 signifies I live in building 1. If the 1 is missing, my order can end up in building 2, which is the same address but a different complex. When OnTrac (tracking number:D10017275701952) delivered to wherever they delivered, they didn't provide a picture. They didn't specify if it was left in building 1 mailroom, by building 1 mailboxes, left at my door in building 1 unattended, or passed off to management. I canceled an appointment to be home. I have a doorbell, and it never rang. Nor did anyone knock. I watched the navigation, and it didn't change from its location for several hours until it was actually delivered. I checked everywhere in building 1. I went to building 2 and checked their mailbox area, mailroom, and apartment 143 in building 2. Where did OnTrac deliver my package? Who removed my building number 1 from my shipping address? If they had a question about my address, they knew how to reach me. They just decided to modify my address for whatever reason, but they never got permission from me to do that. What was the purpose of my paying for SavedByPackage Protection? They both want to pass the buck to each other and not resend my order or offer a refund, so I can purchase from another company that's more reliable and stands by their commitments. read more

I always dread seeing OnTrac as the shipping method when I order something from Amazon. It's a guarantee that my delivery will be at least a day or two later than it would be if they used USPS. Usually when the tracking page says the shipment is out for delivery today by 7 PM, it will get updated an hour or two after 7 PM saying the shipment was delayed and reschedule it for the next day. If the next day happens to be a saturday, even if the shipment says Saturday Delivery: No, it still says it's Scheduled for delivery. At the end of the day on Saturday or possibly not until sometime Monday, the tracking info will be updated finally to show Monday delivery. With USPS, if something is delayed, which is exceedingly rare, they will make sure to deliver it the next day, even if it's on a Saturday. Sometimes even on Sundays! I wish there was a way choose the shipping carrier on Amazon, because I would never choose OnTrac given a choice. read more

Zero stars would be too many. OnTrac is the absolute worst delivery service in the world. They promise to deliver one day, no show, reschedule for the next day and repeat the same BS over and over again for days. They have rescheduled my deliveries 7 or 8 times before finally showing up. Emailing their customer service is a complete waste of time. Customer service won't answer your email until after your package has been delivered. They send a curt message that your package has been delivered and never address the constant rescheduling. I've notified every merchant I purchase from that I will no longer do business with them if they continue to use Ontrac. If you have a similar bad experience with this nightmare of a company, contact the merchant and let them know you will no longer do business with them because of Ontrac's piss-poor delivery. I live in a multi-unit complex. The OnTrac delivery person did not buzz me upon arrival or read the complex map upon arriving. Someone must have let them in, they wandered the first building they entered, then they left and marked my address as non-existent. My package was shipped back to the retail sender. A delivery company should train their delivery personnel that they should contact the recipient in order to attempt delivery, especially if they are not able to find a unit on their own and have chosen not to read the map. By just buzzing the unit that was on the package, this delivery could have been complete. read more

I have NEVER shared a bad review and I'm extremely disappointed that I even need to. But this service is hands-down the worst of it's kind. Not once, but TWICE in the past month, I have dealt with their crummy customer service. Their lack of professionalism, desire to help, and their blatant "not my problem" attitude has me fuming. Delivery Problem #1- I was sent a confirmation that my package was delivered on my doorstep. I was home the ENTIRE day with zero notifications from my motion detection camera. I reviewed all activity from the time they said it was delivered (as well as look the through the rest of the days footage) and saw NO SIGN of a delivery, truck, or otherwise. I emailed them to ask for photo proof that it was indeed delivered to MY door and not accidentally someone else's and the response I got was mind blowing. (I've attached their laughable response) Basically stating they "know" it was delivered correctly and to contact the VENDOR for further help. Ontrack didn't give two sh*** about where the package was or what they could do to figure out their obvious mistake in delivery. I was already over them after this first incident. THEN Problem #2- I was expecting a delivery from a company I shop with OFTEN and I've never had an issue with. Until they started using this joke of a delivery service. Once again, I got the runaround from their customer service. I first called the vendor to see if they had any information regarding my order. They let me know that it is now with Ontrac and they weren't sure why they didn't see any update with tracking information. I then contacted Ontrac to find out the whereabouts of my package and I pretty much received the same bologna "care" as before. They stated that they never received anything from the vendor (even though they show a tracking label created and "en route") and told me to reach out to the vendor with any problems. So, I went back to the vendor to let them know that Ontrac is denying any responsibility and putting the blame in the hands of someone else. Vendor said that they indeed shipped the package out and I believe them 100%, especially after our previous experience only weeks ago. I don't expect to receive this important package either. I'm not sure how this company can have SO MANY negative reviews and still be afloat. It's frustrating as a consumer and embarrassing for those who trust them to take care of their delivery needs. The delivery was supposed to be received yesterday, but it was not. It says on the OnTrac website, through the tracking number given to me by Amazon, that my package was delivered yesterday, when it was not. The phone number they have on their website goes absolutely nowhere. I've called it upwards of four times now, and haven't even gotten to speak to a live person. The prompter just sends you around and around in circles until the automated system just hangs up on you. I will be filing a complaint with both my bank and the BBB, because these people did not deliver my product and owe me money. Based on all the negative yet extremely accurate Google and Yelp Reviews, I'm confident this will be added to the no response list. This delivery service is quite laughable at this point and your corporate exec team at the chandler AZ office, specifically JOSH is a piece of work. Couldn't and flat out refused to supply accurate and cohesive information about my package in which I was supposed to receive on 9/23 after a wrong address update on 9/22. Now being told 10/1. Save the short staffed COVID excuses and deliver as scheduled. I'm not going to just let this issue go and I'm going to make a lot of noise regarding this. Worst company ever. I've had 2 bad experiences. The latest the driver lied said someone refused delivery when no one was there. Also lied about calling me. So they sent my package back to shipper. On trac said I couldn't file a claim only the company that sold me items but I have no way to contact them. I'm out a Christmas gift due to negligence. Also a month ago I left instructions to leave package on the side of my house and even called customer service after item shipped and they confirmed driver had instructions. Ordered something from ulta the 26th of aug. I put the wrong address on it. My bad called ontrac got it all settled. Said it would be delivered within a day or two. No problem my mistake. Well 3 days go by and I check the update. It says they need a gate code to access the property and I need to call them. So I call them and tell them I have no gate code. I have no gate. You can just walk right up to the door no problem. Amazon, fedex, ups or Usps don't have problems delivering my packages. This was around September 3rd. So I got an email saying it would be sent by the 11th. Waited until the 13th. Still nothing. Called that day and they said they will call me back and send me a update the next day. Nothing. Once again, and just like every other delivery I've every received at this address from OnTrac, the delivery person opted to ignore my highly visible signs requesting the place packages on the front stoop and under the doorbell so they are not visible from the front walk; and to ring the doorbell or knock to alert us to the delivery. Your drivers have never once respected this request, yet every other company does, including Amazon Prime, FedEx, UPS and DHL. I have complained to your customer service dept. numerous times to no avail. Your overall feedback is incredibly atrocious yet you never seem to do anything about it. OnTrac is disgraceful. I was to have two packages delivered from two companies via OnTrac on Monday 12/2/19. Both packages made locally and one package was loaded on a delivery truck. Neither package has been delivered. I have called OnTrac three times. Twice I was promised a call back that never happened and once I was hung up on. The earliest I can hold for delivery now is Wednesday 12/4. TWO DAYS LATE AT BEST !!! This is not the Next Day delivery I signed up for.
