From start to finish, Shai was incredibly thorough, honest, and communicative. What really stood out was his ability to strike the right balance between function, aesthetics, and budget. He never pushed unnecessary upgrades, but instead laid out options clearly, explaining the pros and cons of each so we could make informed decisions. His eye for design and attention to detail helped us create a space that feels both beautiful and highly functional. Throughout the process, Shai was candid and reliable--qualities that can be hard to find in the construction world. We always felt he had our best interests in mind, and he treated the project as if he were working on his own home. We're incredibly happy with the outcome and would wholeheartedly recommend Shai and Lion General Construction to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled contractor.

Victor (project manager/foreman) has everything in control, day to day, and does not forget a thing.  We interviewed four other contractors, and they couldn't come up with the right floorplan for our kitchen. We did not want to settle.  David designed our kitchen and more than doubled the size.  No problem moving plumbing or switching to gas from electric and finding a better home for our fridge. Our primary bathroom was completely gutted to add a stand-alone tub, and Superb designed a walk-in closet and additional hall closet taking a foot from the adjoining room, which you would never be able to tell. He has a crew for different sets of workmanship, and they know exactly what to do in a strategic time frame. They do not waste any time and clean up the projects beautifully every day.  We had completely gutted our kitchen and primary bathroom. Had the whole house rewired, new plumbing, new LED lights throughout the house, all new flooring on the first floor, and refinished all flooring upstairs.   Superb builders accommodated every wishlist we had.  Their workmanship is precise, clean and the crew are very helpful and pleasant to work with from beginning to end.   Our biggest appreciation is that David and Victor picked up their phones or returned texts right away 100%. They passed every inspection every time, and they have done the work beyond the requirements. We are so happy to know that all the work has been done properly and safely. We will always call Superb builders for all of our future projects.  I trust that they will get the job done right, and David can help design or find a beautiful solution to any difficult home layout you may have.  They do not just remodel a space, they can build a perfect new space. Thank you David, Victor and all the wonderful crew at Superb builders!

I wouldn't have been able to come up with such a wonderful design without his advices. Additionally, the cabinet vendor he recommended had great prices and they assisted with designing the kitchen layout by providing computer drawn images using software. This saved a lot of time in the planning stage. Joe was our primary point of contact from start to finish, which made things go smoothly. During project execution, Victor was an invaluable point of contact for discussing and explaining technical details about our options, especially when inevitable complications arose. When we demo'd our old kitchen we found a major code violation that was concealed and they helped us correct the issue. It cost us extra but looking back I'm happy we worked with an ethically sound contractor who does things correctly and follows the city code. Those things can be huge problems later if you try to cut corners! Overall we had a great experience with Superb Builders and would definitely hire them again. They are very professional and do great work. We ended up with our dream kitchen for less than market average prices in our area!

We met with a few different contractors for quotes, some offered slightly cheaper pricing but after speaking with them, we knew Marlon and his team were the right choice. When you're having a project done in your home, trust is everything, and we trust them 100%. Even during heavy rain, they were able to keep working by setting up a tarp tent over the work area, which kept things clean and minimized disruption to our neighbors. This time, we had our whole house painted, our entrance door replaced, and our porch tiled. Once again, they delivered excellent results. Our new entrance door looks beautiful, and the paint job is phenomenal. I feel like we have a brand-new home. We will definitely hire them again for future renovations, no doubt! They are fast, meticulous, and truly trustworthy.

Clearly it was going to be a very large - and, of course, completely unexpected - project. We felt a ton of pressure to find the right balance of cheap, fast, and - most importantly, this being a major structural wall of our home - good. Given how critical and involved the job was, we needed to have confidence every step of the way. From the get-go, Marlon provided that. From the initial estimate, it was clear that J O Builder doesn't cut corners and wants to do the job right. Where some of the other contractors proposed patchwork solutions that would likely have resulted in having the same problem again in five or ten years. Ignacio from J O estimated a more comprehensive job that would avoid that. J O isn't just interested in securing a job but rather taking care of your home as well as if it were their own. Marlon, Ozny, Daniel, and the rest of the team were always incredibly responsive and understood our concerns immediately. They were able to talk us through any concerns we had throughout the job and proactively gave us a heads up on what was coming next so we were never surprised by anything. When the job was finished, our wall was in better shape than ever, with better insulation and a clean facade inside and out, as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile we know it's built well and will last a long time, and we had confidence at every step of the way. We'll be reaching out to Marlon again for all our future jobs. If you want your job done right, I strongly recommend that you do too.

Professional, respectful, and highly communicative, he was always there whenever we needed him, by text, phone, or in person, if we needed reassurance, advice or progress reports he always seemed to be right on the ball. It's hard to communicate just how important this is to keep the blood pressure down while undertaking something as life altering as a major home renovation, but we always felt Fahan had it under control. Our project was completed on schedule, 7 months to do a new kitchen, master bath, staircase installation, family room and deck, plus electrical and lots of small detail work around the house. Seven months is really something considering how easily big renovations like ours can go off the rails. Horror stories abound, and we, quite literally, had none. What a huge relief. In terms of costs, Fahan was transparent and upfront with us. They estimated and invoiced all expected and unexpected costs up front, and clearly stated any potential overruns. There were some, but none that we felt were from left field, and for each one we were given options to keep in line with what we were comfortable with. We understood and signed off on everything before anything moved forward, with a comforting degree of transparency. The only downside we could see was that the pricing tended to be high. It's not entirely clear however if this was due to the current economic conditions of '22-'23 or if it's just what quality work and workmanship costs. But as they say, you get what you pay for. Overall, we felt well-taken care of throughout the process, like there was an insider who knew the business, the pitfalls and the tricks. "I trust them", were words we uttered more than once. Most of the time we weren't even at the house, only catching up on the progress on weekends, but we always knew that the work would get done and with little to no issues along the way. THe house turned out amazing. We really couldn't be happier with the work they did. Fahan's just a quality outfit, contractors and subs, that you should trust with your house too. Just top-shelf all the way. Two thumbs up.

We hired Fahan for a number of projects at our home in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco: building a new deck, extending power and plumbing to the back yard, replacing our leaky roof, providing access to the new deck from our bedroom and a number of other misc projects inside our home. All of these projects were completed on time and with superb quality. John was incredibly friendly, professional and responsive throughout the whole process. He was extremely thorough: from working with the architect to co-ordinating with all the inspectors, to introducing us to all the members on his team and what we could expect from them on a regular basis. He managed the whole project effectively by providing us with timely quotes, invoices and being diligent about addressing any follow up questions we had. If there were any unforeseen issues with the weather or supply chain issues, John kept us informed and worked around each of these issues while keeping the project on time. Every single day, his team would show up on time and work diligently while keeping us posted if they needed anything. When we wanted something updated or changed, they obliged us immediately. What was particularly impressive is that they pulled off a number of different projects working across 3-4 different groups of people! I will definitely miss them around our home. And will reach out to them we need anything built or fixed moving forward.
