Went for the first time and left leaving, booking my second time! I use ClassPass and this is definitely one of the best deals I've found that also aligns with how I like to workout. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. For your first time, you will have to fill out additional information when you arrive, so I would get there 10mins early, The class is fun, up beat and can be scaled up or down. It's a mix of running and HIIT floor work. Come 10-15mins early to checkin and for parking.

Setup: trying new things The better: Maybe the best bang for your buck (and time) workout. Half treadmill work with some insane inclines, half weights/mat/boxing/etc, all HIIT. Instructors are all very friendly and motivating. You can order a smoothie to be ready for you post-workout. The lesser: I was unable to walk/sit/stand properly for 2 days after my first class, but I guess that means it was working. Location is pretty far for me, but I was told it was my fault for living outside the loop hah! It's pricey for those of us that can't make it more times during the week. Observations: Holy hell that first class was hard! But I've been back a few times so I guess I didn't hate it. The types of classes are not posted online or disclosed beforehand to keep people from picking and choosing their workouts and force them to try different things when they arrive. Decent amount of parking alongside the building and an extra gravel lot right across.

High energy, friendly feel, catchy vibe are the three things that come to mind when I think about Sweat 1000. I came across this facility from a Facebook ad. They are located right in the heart of the heights, it's nestled in a nice cozy area. Parking can be a bit snug but luckily I never had a problem finding a spot. The really cool thing too is that they have a security guard monitoring the area and keeping your car safe. Upon entering you get a juice bar vibe and you aren't too sure what to expect. It's like you can see that there is a room for the workouts but you aren't quite sure what to expect because the windows are tinted out from allowing others to look inside. Before every class, you get checked in and wait in the lobby area. At that point, you can stretch if you like, chat with others, or order a smoothie/ protein drink/ or whatever they offer. I honestly am not sure what they sell because I wasn't really given an introduction about it and no one really brought it up. Although, I know they do have water for purchase or you can just bring a water bottle and they have filtered water from the fountain for free. They even have free workout towels so you don't have to bring your own. The workouts are an hour and are very high intensity with half cardio and half strength training. The music would have to be my favorite part of it all though. Between the dark strobe/ glow in the dark lighting AND the amazing sound system, you would think that you've entered in a dance party. I won't lie there were a few times where I just wanted to stop and dance BUT I fought through the urge. Back to the workout piece though... I especially love that you rotate between both about every 10 or 15 minutes. This was perfect for me because after a while I get extremely bored on a treadmill. So, this allowed me to move around before my "I'm bored kicked in." I really enjoyed how pumped the trainers were as well. From Marcellus providing modifications on certain routines to Thomas shouting out, "DONT STOP YOU'RE ALMOST THERE" right when you are two seconds of giving in, definitely keeps you motivated, pumped, and eager to keep pushing through. I truly enjoyed all of the trainers. Although, I would say my second favorite part about coming here would be the cool towels with essentials oils given to you at the end. All in all, I am glad I got to experience this gym because it really gave me a serious workout. I wish I could attend more again but it is honestly not in my little teacher budget. Although, I would still highly recommend everyone to try it out. They would surely change your life and most importantly fall in love all over again with working out.

I am obsessed with Sweat! My favorite instructors are Matt, Laura, Katie, Ana and Marcellus! They have two great locations and Fely is amazing at her job! Love my Sweat family!

My review will cover Stefani's barre class. I was first introduced to barre in 2019 and I've fallen in love with the practice. Stefani's barre class at Facet Seven Heights is my absolute favorite! Stefani is very upbeat, personable, fun, and extremely energetic! Her class is great for beginners and those who are advanced in the practice! She always has a fun playlist to rock out to and it makes the class even more fun! If you visit this gym, I definitely recommend checking out Stefani's barre class. She teaches on Mondays at 7:10pm, Thursdays at 6:20 or 6:35pm (sorry I can't remember), Saturdays at 10:35am, and Sundays at 9:45am.

Instantly when I started taking classes at Facet Seven I appreciated the community and friendliness at the front desk, members, and the instructors as well. I mainly take Stefani's barre, yoga, and ABC class but also have enjoyed HIIT and strengthcon with Emma. Stefani is a bright light and makes working out so fun but also challenging. Emma similarly looks to challenge but is also motivating and provided me modifications when needed with an injury, looking out for me when I didn't realize I could re-injure something without even knowing. The gym has a variety of equipment but is on the smaller side, so it's easier to see and get to know regulars in your class but also meet new people. Highly recommend!

I tried several others closer to me that were intimidating and where the coaches did not pay nearly enough attention to a struggling beginner. The coaches truly care about your form and push you to accomplish things you never thought possible. The programming is difficult without being impossible. The facilities are ENORMOUS, clean, and well stocked. The owners truly care about your opinion and send a yearly survey to find ways to improve the experience. Riti was our instructor for RUN X FULL BODY & she kept the upbeat vibes the entire time! It was honestly impressive & equally shocking how amazing her classroom management was haha but she kept us motivated for the whole 50 minutes. There were various sets where half the class was on the treadmill and the other half on the floor. The treadmillers were jogging, sprinting, & everything in between. The floor people were doing a lot of squats, bodyweight & weight lifting exercises. Then every few minutes the people on the treadmill would switch to the floor and vice versa. You really have to listen carefully and pay attention while the instructor is moving around shouting out what you're supposed to do. Parking is in a lot or on the street, both requires payment. There are lockers to store your belongings as well as showers in the bathrooms. They provide towels at eac station for the class as well. You be assigned a number for the treadmill & the floor section. This is definitely not meant for someone who gets overstimulated easily but if you like chaotic exercise classes, I highly recommend. This was my first time participating in Crossfit at this gym, and the attention to detail the coaches give in the areas of safety and form is much appreciated. The coaches are more concerned with newbies getting practice their first time versus completing all the reps for time. I thought my first time was going to be very competitive because this is what I was used to from other Crossfit gyms I have gone to in California. I felt as thought the lack of competition for newbies made the workout and whole atmosphere feel more welcoming. This is definitely a great way to keep people happy and coming back, and remove the whole aspect of Crossfit intimidation. I even felt a little intimidated driving there my first time but this was completely gone after I stepped foot into the gym and Clark Hibbs welcomed me like we had been long lost friends. He went out of his way to introduce me to the other crossfitters even though it was a couple minutes passed the start of the workout. I did snatches for the first time today (7/26/2016), and I was very concerned about having good form because I did not want an injury. Clark Hibbs broke the snatch movement down into 4 different movements we practiced individually a number of times. After we all mastered these individual moves we put them all together in one quick motion while he watched each of us. If any of us needed an adjustment to the snatch he came over after we put the bar down to show us how to make an adjustment. Other typical coaches might talk you through it but showing is one of the best ways to improve form immediately. Clark is very encouraging for newbies, and experienced crossfitters. I think he understands there is always room for improvement no matter how long a person had been doing Crossfit. He uses different forms of motivation - soft encouragement, and suggestive techniques - which work very effectively to get people to push to their max. He asked if I could just get that last rep, and I felt so motivated to make it happen. They charge $185 per month for a membership, but after your first time you will understand why this amount is worth all every penny. I would try Clark Hibbs workouts your firs time. I am going to start dropping in once a week for $20 per session. You can see how this would add up to almost 3x the $185 membership fee per month. At $185 / 12 class per month if you only go three times a week this comes out to around $15 per one hour class. I think this is very reasonable for the knowledge and practice you receive from very experienced Crossfit coaches. Robert
