I've been doing CrossFit for over a year now, and have recently moved over to Vintage within the…read morepast few months and I ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend them. I used to be a VERY active person. I ran miles, did weights, went on adventures, felt EXTREMELY comfortable in a revealing bikini...all until September 2010 when I was in a very bad car accident. The accident ruptured a disk in my back and bulged multiple disks in my back and neck that resulted in chronic sciatic pain and a limp. I became sedentary due to my pain and limp, and subsequently gained weight while losing virtually all of my strength. When I was approached by a friend about doing CrossFit, I was reasonably skeptical about the benefits of doing a high intensity with my injury. I choose Vintage because the coaches are very attentive to my needs, and openly suggest modifications to my workout whenever I'm having trouble or I'm experiencing discomfort. They push me to challenge myself and my body at every workout, more importantly, they remind me to recognize the improvements I have made even on days when I feel like I've failed miserably. Vintage isn't just a place to work out or "GET RIPPED" (though they do that as well), but a community of people who push you to better yourself. I do not walk with a limp anymore, I experience less pain, and have built enough strength to recently compete in my first CrossFit competition. I couldn't have done it without Vintage! Thanks coaches!

My review will cover Stefani's barre class. I was first introduced to barre in 2019 and I've fallen in love with the practice. Stefani's barre class at Facet Seven Heights is my absolute favorite! Stefani is very upbeat, personable, fun, and extremely energetic! Her class is great for beginners and those who are advanced in the practice! She always has a fun playlist to rock out to and it makes the class even more fun! If you visit this gym, I definitely recommend checking out Stefani's barre class. She teaches on Mondays at 7:10pm, Thursdays at 6:20 or 6:35pm (sorry I can't remember), Saturdays at 10:35am, and Sundays at 9:45am.

Instantly when I started taking classes at Facet Seven I appreciated the community and friendliness at the front desk, members, and the instructors as well. I mainly take Stefani's barre, yoga, and ABC class but also have enjoyed HIIT and strengthcon with Emma. Stefani is a bright light and makes working out so fun but also challenging. Emma similarly looks to challenge but is also motivating and provided me modifications when needed with an injury, looking out for me when I didn't realize I could re-injure something without even knowing. The gym has a variety of equipment but is on the smaller side, so it's easier to see and get to know regulars in your class but also meet new people. Highly recommend!

It just opened in…read moreDecember and specializes in CrossFit, which is a strength and training program that is all the rage these days. The website is clean, well-designed, up-to-date, and very informative. The Facebook page provides statuses on weekly free introduction and yoga classes. I attended a free intro CrossFit class on a rainy Saturday morning. Bowie was very cheerful and made sure to introduce himself to all the newcomers. His positive energy was infectious and made me enthusiastic to start the workout. The gym is a "box" type building with one room containing all the equipment and space for the workouts. You go through the CrossFit workout sets in the group, and it's very encouraging to go through it together. Because, trust me, with these intensive workouts, you're gonna need all the encouragement you can get! Fortunately, as I lay dying in a the middle of a set of pushups, Bowie remembered my name and (again, cheerfully!) pushed me to keep going. I like that even though the exercises are tough, Bowie never resorts to the "bootcamp style" of yelling putdowns or using negative reinforcement. He plays a varied set of music from his iPhone throughout the hourlong workout. I definitely laughed at the (somewhat joking) "LIGHT WEIGHT!" yells around the room. I didn't feel like anyone was judging me based on my fitness level or anything else. After the free introductory class, there is usually a complimentary (optional) yoga class with a Big Yoga instructor. It feels great to wind down with some stretching with phenomenal yoga teachers. The gym itself is clean and down-to-earth. Ample water and towels are available! I like that they cap their class sizes to promote safety and higher level of personal coaching attention. If I start working closer to Montrose again, I would definitely consider coming here regularly... and, Roots Juice is just 3 minutes away for an after-workout smoothie!

Riti was our instructor for RUN X FULL BODY & she kept the upbeat vibes the entire time! It was honestly impressive & equally shocking how amazing her classroom management was haha but she kept us motivated for the whole 50 minutes. There were various sets where half the class was on the treadmill and the other half on the floor. The treadmillers were jogging, sprinting, & everything in between. The floor people were doing a lot of squats, bodyweight & weight lifting exercises. Then every few minutes the people on the treadmill would switch to the floor and vice versa. You really have to listen carefully and pay attention while the instructor is moving around shouting out what you're supposed to do. Parking is in a lot or on the street, both requires payment. There are lockers to store your belongings as well as showers in the bathrooms. They provide towels at eac station for the class as well. You be assigned a number for the treadmill & the floor section. This is definitely not meant for someone who gets overstimulated easily but if you like chaotic exercise classes, I highly recommend. Try it out at least once, you won't regret it!
