This company is probably the worst provider I have ever had. Service is actually ok. But, customer service is UNBELIEVABLE. I called because 1) my internet was out and I had issues on my invoice. Of course, I was significantly upset, so I was not exactly the kindest person on the phone and I take ownership of that. However, I have been in customer service for 10+ years and the first thing that needs to happen is figure out a way to calm the customer down when they are really pissed off. No, instead, Roseanna decided that being condescending, rude and an outright smarta$$ to me was the way for me to calm down. Let's just say that doesn't work for me and it makes me infinitely more upset to know that this company that I pay money to does not give one rat's a$$ about me as a customer. They DO NOT care if you end up cancelling your service. I guess because the apartment complexes in the area really have NO OTHER choice, they have enough customers. Once I told her that I wanted to go ahead and cancel my service, she said that it would be effective today instead of when my service was suspended. I live in Watervue departments off north beach street. They have a contract with one sources to let them be the only internet company allowed here. Let me just say they are the worst. When the internet is working its fine but about every day there is an outage. They last anywhere from a hour to the hole day. If your like me and work from home this is a big problem. So now i am forced to move complex's because the internet issues. read more

I have to agree. I have been a one source customer for over 10 years. I consistently have billing issues with them. The amounts reported as owed are incorrect 3 or 4 times a year. They will cut you off even if you just paid them and they service rep tells you the account is current. If you like consistent logical service go somewhere else. read more

We originally had one source when we moved to Keller in 2005 because there we no other cable options. We quickly switched to verizon because of the bad service and the lack of Internet speed. We sold our house and have been doing the apt living since Feb 2013. Once again the only option is one source unless you want direct tv. The phone service is junk and the Internet speed.....it's horrible. My ipad waits on the downloads.... Just sad and to think they have a monopoly in some areas of Keller. We are also forced to use them because of where we live. I should have known when I ordered service and told the lady THREE times that I will need wi-fi capability and the service guy showed up with no record of it that I made a mistake. I had to go buy my own router at Best Buy which wasn't a big deal except it would have been nice to know ahead of time, especially since I was expecting them to provide it. So, once we got that settled, everything worked fine except now we get to deal with the internet constantly, i mean constantly, going down. Like right now, in fact. I am typing away on my phone because I HAVE NO SERVICE. just like yesterday. And it's not a bandwidth vs devices-in-use problem. I am the only one online today!! Second issue, our tv. We are happy with the channels, and enjoy watching our line-up, when the signal isn't getting constantly interrupted and causing breaks in the program/movie and lagtime...so annoying. The tech came out & we thought the problem had been fixed until we went back in either of the bedrooms I have purchased 3 different routers in 72 hours to NO AVAIL. Stay away stay far far away! I am on their wireless internet service. It is up and down like a yo-yo all day long. The only good news is that they are now claiming to have lost the leases on the antennas in this area and they can not negotiate leases with anyone else. Now after all this the service tech says we should have had another separate line (no splitter) for our Internet. I moved into an apartment complex that only used One Source Communications. DON'T DO IT. They charge you for a fast service but give you slow service. Their customer service is the worst. They don't tell you when they will be there, they just show up and if your not there too bad. Don't think about service after 5:00 pm because all their techs go home and you deal with an outsource tech group. The cable service is out dated and limited but you pay a premium for it. They are the highest priced in town because they are the only choice. If I could get a good signal over the air I would just do that. read more

I started using this company when it first came to my area, around 2009. I was pleased with the service and especially the guys that did their technical support. Along about 2014, we started having regular issues with their service. They kept telling us to hold on they were going to upgrade the towers so we held on and on and on. Finally, they told us that it was Nextlink's fault our service was bad because they were creating interference with OneSource and that this was because Nextlink had BETTER equipment. But, I kept saying I would stick with them and I did! The tech rep guys told me to continue calling into technical support when the service dropped so I did that until one day Connie told me that their tech rep manager said he told us there was nothing they could do and for us to find another service. Their tech rep, Jeremy, had NEVER told us that but since they obviously didn't want our business we did find another vendor, which was NEXTLINK! We canceled our service with OneSource and were even told there would be no further charges yet they sent us a bill anyway for $2.06. When I called to ask about the charge I got to speak to Connie who told me it was for one day of service. We tried to explain what we were told but she was so frigging rude, we finally told them hell would freeze over before we paid that $2.06. You would think with the 100's of times we called in for support due to their lousy internet service, they would be a bit more understanding about not charging us for anything else. read more

When service is down, there is no way to get a hold of anyone to help troubleshoot the issues. Speeds are pretty ok, but they tend to really slow during evenings. If there were a way to temporarily throttle the speed up, it would be good. Also, if there was someone on call who could troubleshoot problems, that would be good. All other service providers have this, so I'm not certain why One Source doesn't. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!! When I called to schedule installation I was told there wouldnt be any fees and they ended up charging a $45 installation fee. This is AFTER their tech told the person I had scheduled to be there during set up it would be 2 hours for the installation after i was told 15-30min. They were unable to wait 2 hours and when I spoke to the tech he told a very different story, clearly so he could just go home early. This company does not care about customer service! read more

I've had some bad cable companies before but this is by far the worst. I've had to call customer service several times and have been laughed at over the phone more than once. I have the highest internet speed they have and it's impossible to stream anything and the cable service goes out constantly. It's the only cable company offered at many apartment so I have no choice. This company would definately go out of business if it weren't for apartments forcing this service on people. I have been with One Source for 8+ years and their service and products have been excellent. Their service response time is prompt and courteous. I do not know why some of the reviews are to the contrary, but it does appear that most of them come from apartment complexes, which may have an issue with their cabling. I have 2 TVs, internet and telephones with them and have yet to have a bad experience. I moved from Verizon and was glad I did. The cost was considerably less for the same or more service. read more

The internet shuts off constantly, they're support is completely trash, I would have better luck fixing it myself, and they're way to overpriced for 10 Mbps when it ends up dropping below 1 Mbps every time I try to download something. I've been with one source for eight years in the beginning they were a very good company but over the last year their service is gone down down down down down and now it's to the point where it's a coin toss when I come home on whether I'm going to have internet or not and then when I call them they give me the runaround they tell me things like business accounts take precedence over residential accounts they give me times on when they're going to be here and then don't show up they tell me they're going to call me back and then don't and then when I call them back they say oh well we tried to call you which is a straight up lie cuz it's my cell phone we all have call logs on our cell phone so I could see if I missed a call I'm so fed up with them I'm currently shopping for other service it's just difficult to find service at a rural location. We pay for a 10 Meg service when are Services up its never at 10 mag we will get 5 or 7 Mag at best but they still charge us for a 10 Meg service I use an app called speed test to check my speeds it has a history on it my last 10 speed test speeds were 5.14 followed by 0 followed by 2.83 followed by 3.24 followed by 3.74 followed by .52 followed by .65 followed by 5.77 followed by 3.67 followed by 2.26 followed by 3.39 did you get the picture you see a pattern if you have any other option besides One Source you should totally go with them read more

Corrupt company. Not only does the service fail to stay connected (daily), the company is illegally charging customers. This is the second time, I've been charged for a mysterious fee. First charge was for a cable box that I had already turned it. That equaled a $100 charge. I was given the run around for 2 months on that one. This time it's a $35 trip charge for a technician that came out and failed to find the issue with my internet. He claimed it was because the router was off....which I was told to turn off the night before by the over the phone tech. We have had One Source as our internet provider since we moved into our house in May. The reviews weren't good but it was literally the ONLY company that provided service to our area. After almost 6 months of complete frustration, I am prepared to pay whatever it takes to get out of this contract. My internet is down more than it's up!! Internet with One Source is unreliable and has constant outages multiple times every day. I work from home and on too many occasions the Internet has stalled costing significant earnings. Every time the Internet would go out, I called customer service to open a ticket (which would usually be in the morning) & a technician wouldn't return my call until at least 3 hours afterwards but mostly towards the end of the day. Additionally, intermittently we get 1 Mb down/.25 Mb up, which does not adequately drive our AT&T MicroCell, which shuts our cell phone service down inside our home. Initially when calling Technical Support we were run through the "script" for trouble shooting problems that we were not having. We became professionals at rebooting our router and other parts of our system. Too bad the online Technical Support personnel we were dealing with were clueless (sorry - that is being kind). Finally we just requested a Technician visit, who would make it out in the next day or two. They replaced firmware, put us on new frequencies, replaced transmitters, and several other things. We have had a half a dozen Technician "visits" in 2016 alone, and that is after the Tech Support on line goat ropes that we were put through. Multiple times a day, we have to turn our router on and off just to get the connection to stay on. When we call One Source multiple times, they just say that their equipment shows that it works fine. Oh, and By The Way, be prepared for 20 to 30 minutes on hold when you call. That is the way One Source rolls! We are still having problems and not satisfied with One Source Internet Service, but have no other alternatives. Summary: * IF you have any other choice for an Internet Provider than One Source Communications, you need to give very serious consideration to those alternatives, after due diligence analysis of problems (documented in available Customer Reviews) regarding their service and equipment. * IF you like long phone waits and being on hold for excessive period of time, then by all means, One Source Communications is the company you want to deal with * DO NOT expect the Internet Download/Upload Speeds you are paying for, it is just NOT going to happen. read more

I have been a customer of Onesource for years, when I had a problem I could contact David directly and he would get a ticket opened, but after a couple years I found myself contacting their tech support myself to get a ticket open. Most of my down time was on weekends, then slowly during the week my speed would move down. I have asked several times if they were going to improve there equipment and increase their speed. I personally think that they are making everyone in the Springtown area go slower because we are paying a lower cost than what they are asking for now. I have paid my bill WELL in advance. But now that I am canceling my service customer support has been the RUDEST people I have ever spoke with, you would think that they would try and work with you so you would keep their service. If you decide to go with Onesouce plan on slower speed than your paying for and down time on the weekends. If your unsure on your speed you can test it through Speedtest.net or speakeasy.net all free and no viruses or bugs. I have gone with Nextlink i pay for 15mbps and get up to 18mbps. If Onesource was my only option I would go back to the old days of writing letters and looking it up at the library. Save your money and look in to other providers. read more

I have been a customer since September. This is the worst company for customer service. They were days late on installing my internet that I needed for my home based job. I was told they would credit my first bill. (confirmed by the manager). As of today this charge was still on my bill. I called today and Melissa (in accounting) told me I needed to pay the charge and they would credit me in February. I told her I shouldn't have to pay for charges that I shouldn't have been charged to begin with. I asked for her manager Melanie who also told me that I had to pay what I should have never been charged. I argued for over 45 minutes with both women. No one would take responsibility for the billing error. $125.00 error. The service goes in and out all the time. When I have called for tech support I don't get anyone that really knows much about what they are doing. I am just thoroughly disgusted with this company. I am looking into other options for our services and will not be afraid to tell anyone coming to this company to turn and run away. read more
