I advised the cashier there's poop on the floor. 10 minutes passed, it was still on the floor. I advised another staff member who rudely responded to me and said "I know I know, we've already been told" then turned her back to me. I told her I'm trying to be nice and helping them avoid avoid a situation where people would step on it. She responded and was rude about it again. I asked to speak with a manager I was told the manager is on break. I walked away. Another 5 minutes passed same girl and the assistant manager proceeded to clean the poop. As they walked by I said "it's about time somebody attended to it." The assistant manager rudely responded, we didn't know and was very confrontational. I said I reported twice, how do you not know. I asked to speak to a manager above her, I was then told that there is no manager on duty. I left and called the store (905) 850-8131, the assistant manager answered. I asked to speak to a manager, she told me that no manager tonight and for the rest of the weekend. After a few words back and forth she hung up on me, accused me of being rude to her and her staff. I called back again, she was rude and she hung up again. Not very good customer service at all after trying to help them prevent customers from stepping on dog poop. I'll be reporting this to Corporate office.

During the peak of my congestion, I was at work, noticeably sounding congested when I spoke. I wanted a portable humidifier to use at work and casually mentioned it to my manager. He let me know that his daughter has two small ones, both from One's Better Living. She loves them both and they work well. I decided to go there after work and had to stop talking to him to get to one! I remembered that there was one in a strip mall on the northeast corner of Woodbine and 16th. I got there at 7:30 pm on a Thursday. It closes at 8 pm on weeknights. Parking can be a bit crazy on weekends, but it was fine at this hour. I backed into a spot and walked in. If you like cute items, like Hello Kitty and teddy bears, this store is for you. I saw cute animal travel pillows and backpacks when I first walked into the store. A few steps later, I was in the section that I needed. There were large, medium, and small humidifiers. I didn't realize that they came in so many different sizes and varieties. It was a learning experience. A woman came up to me and asked if I needed any help. I asked what she recommended for a small humidifier. She said that they were all great. Great! That was such a boring response. I politely thanked her for her unhelpful statement and continued doing my own research. After ten minutes of looking at small humidifiers, from light bulbs with a beach scene inside, to ones that also emit scents, I went for a cool one that looks like a robot. It was on sale for $25. It uses a micro USB cable to power it. I browsed some more. The pens and stationery section brought back fond memories of being a kid. I enjoyed looking at umbrellas and slippers. It's a cool store to browse around. I went to the cashout area where a woman was trying to sell me some sort of rice container for $5. I don't really eat rice every day, so I passed on it. I paid using cash, which I rarely have on hand. I was pleased with my purchase and left the store. Here's the thing about my humidifier that wasn't clearly mentioned on the box. First, there are two misting selections. You can either have it mist continuously or it pulses. The former will last for 4.5 hours. The latter lasts for 9 hours. It's pretty good either way. Second, my humidifier has a night light function. It changes colour, too. If this company wants to hire a writer to make its humidifier instructions complete, I'm available. Just send me a lifetime supply of small humidifiers. This one works well after figuring its features out on my own. I will need to return and check out the store when it's not about to close for the day. I liked what I saw and my experience was pretty good. (93)

The One's Better Living…read morefranchise has been around for decade(s?) and you can find quality home products at a decent price- for your kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, home decor, kid's toys, super soft, squishy pillows- you get what I mean lol. They were also playing Asian pop music in the background that really gets you singin' XD My all-time favourite part is checking out the stationery section :) Those cute gel pens were my childhood favourite, and you can still find them here! I found these super cute red pockets that are about 1.20 a pack, and I stocked up a few for CNY next year :P The staff usually don't bother you, and let's you shop while they stock up the shelves. The lady helping us check out was friendly and courteous. P.S Parking in this plaza can be difficult sometimes. Little did I know, there is actually an underground parking lot here! I went at a less busy time on a Tuesday around 4ish :P

I'll only shop here during promotions, or if I have a coupon. This is the largest location I've been to, so I was surprised they were sold out of hanging suit bags. It's been a few weeks, and they still haven't restocked these items. I actually ended up going to another location that was smaller, but had what I was looking for. Tips: Sign up for their email alerts, and call ahead if you're looking for a specific item.

I also got a square plastic container that also has a spout. You can opt to add flour or sugar into the container and pour it out through the spout. Items there are clever! The store is clean and organized (of course!). I can spend hours there. I also got a cloud-shaped USB hub that was also on sale. The store does have sales. You just need to be patient and look for them.
