There have been several incidents where I've heard stories that sound like nightmares. I haven't had horrible experiences here, but I can't say that service is excellent. You're in a town where there is no competition, so don't expect much. I came here with a ticket Trailways mailed me after writing to them about their bad customer service back in NYC and this location was about to turn it down and tell me they cannot accept it. Hm. You must buy tickets in person in order to receive student discount. There are many snacks, notebooks, and sudoku books in this trailways for in-ride entertainment. Everything is decently priced. I'd suggest getting snacks that look like they've been flying off the shelves (like their strawberry Poptarts) because there are some things that look a bit old. There are a few chairs inside to stay warm in the winter during the hours Trailways office is open. There are also toilets. I was surprised that Trailways has busses that bring you all the way to Alaska from a tiny town like Oneonta.

I went back the next day only to be told all sites for the summer were rented out. Clearly that was not true based on her computer check the day before. BOTTOMLINE: if you are not a baseball family spending $1000's here, don't expect to even get the time of day. Therefore, they do not deserve anyone's business.

It'll be the best $10 ever spent. *All Star Village is across the street. It's about a 15 min. walk on a steep hill. *have your team party at the Pavilion. There are 2 grills, fire pit, lighting, and camp host offers several chairs for seating around the fire pit. * the cabins closer to the pool are a bit larger, and they have a stove. As I searched through possibilities, the first-floor suite at The Phoenix Inn caught my eye and made my decision very easy. This Inn provides everything you need, but there are no frills - the decor and accommodations are pleasant and clean. The beds are very comfortable, there is plenty of hot water, and the wi-fi worked great. There were power strips throughout the room, so we could plug in and recharge our devices. Vicki made the beds and changed the towels daily. There are daily newspapers in the common room and there is always fresh coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available. The guest fridge in the Inn's kitchen is great for chilling the goodies you get at Ommegang Brewery or the local wineries. The food is excellent. Each morning Vicki provides a buffet featuring fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, cereal, freshly-baked goodies from the Inn's kitchen, and a hot dish. The stand-outs during our visit were the Blueberry French Toast and the Raspberry-Cream Cheese Coffeecake. Vicki was amenable to special requests and was happy whip up a few scrambled eggs for my diabetic husband and she made sure to have the appropriate foods for two pregnant vegan women who were guests during our time there. The Inn is within 10-15 minutes of most of Cooperstown's attractions, but located away from it all. We had no trouble sleeping. I'd return to The Phoenix Inn.

Best decision I've made in a long time. Literally 5 minutes from the complex. Everything about this place is a homerun. When you first walk in, there's a massive koi pond to great you. I loved seeing the koi as we came and gone everyday. Then Erin is there to great you. Actually, our first day, she greeted us as we pulled in. The nicest person we've met in a long time. Very helpful with information on the area and extremely accommodating. It's a bed and breakfast but unfortunately with nonstop baseball going on, we never had the opportunity to eat breakfast. We did explore the breakfast area one night. Very spacious and welcoming. Our room was great. King size bed with two sliding doors leading to a balcony over looking a brook and the woods.
