We used A&D Transport Services Inc. for transportation to an appointment in Syracuse, New York. Unfortunately, we were left stranded for several hours after the appointment. My son's appointment ended at 4:30 PM, and I immediately called A&D Transport Services to request pickup. I was told the driver was only 15 minutes away. After 15 minutes passed with no arrival, I called again. Over the next hour, I made a call trying to get an update. Eventually, the doctor's office was closed, and we were still waiting for transportation. It was not until 6:26 PM that someone finally arrived to pick us up. When the vehicle arrived, there was already a stranger sitting in the front seat, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and concerning. No one should be left waiting for hours without reliable service. This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. read more

They were supposed to pick me up through MAS transport. I had an appointment with my primary care physician, and it was important since I was in the ER twice and hospitalized. Not only did A & D not show up because they said they had no cars available, they canceled it, so I did not get a different taxi, and neither MAS or A & D told me--waiting for them to show up to take me to the doctor. May I never have to use their service again. They do not care about their clients at all. I use to pay sometimes also for their services since I lost my car in a scam, may I never have to use A & D again ever. I live in a rural area, with little transportation. Do not take A&D taxi ever again! 1. They let an old man with a walker wait 3 hours for his pickup cuz they have him as a wheelchair user. That means only certain vans can come pick him up cus they need a lift for the non-existing wheelchair. He's 8 miles from home and my driver wont\can't take him, so he's outside freezing & screaming about how bad a&d is. 2. They made the lady I rode home with stranded for 4 hours before. 3. The driver gave me her number to call her directly since she waited for me. Great! No wait right? That fucking bitch wouldn't answer and then blocked me! So I call a&d directly. I have to call 3 times because they're hanging up on me each time. When I do get thru they fail to put me in the system as ready so I have to wait another 20min before they fix that. I know ultimately I only had to wait 45min total for my ride, that was 5 min drive from me at Stewart's. This cab company is ridiculous. They treat there Medicaid Cab riders like shit because they know that we need them to get to our Dr. Well fuck that. A.& D was supposed to pick up at 10:15 a.m.Never showed until 11:45 a.m. Appointment was at 11:15 a.m. Then when driver showed was very rude and said are you coming or not. They make money simply because they exist in the area. If you are ever in dire need of a taxi, and cannot walk to your destination, you can attempt to get a taxi with this service. Staff has been rude anytime I have taken them, and this includes on the way to the hospital being rushed out of the cab with an injury... Driver tried to overcharge me, but when I brought up that dispatch had mentioned a different price he stated "oh yeah that sounds right". Have heard co workers stating their card information was used to make purchases in the local area, directly after using the taxi service. I encountered one of their Drivers idling the wrong way on a One way roadway. I waited for them to finish their activities and expected them to backup, but they continued to drive the wrong way down the roadway forcing me to yield to them. I'm not giving this company a single star. They cancel trips without giving the rider prior notice, and then they won't take accountability for doing it; they will blame mas and say THEY cancelled. MAS will tell everyone that they do not go in and cancel trips for ANY reason. MAS told me that A&D was the one who cancelled my trip without giving me ANY notice and I'm on methadone. If I don't have a ride I don't get my dose. I'm NOT missing a dose bc some douche bag at a&d doesn't feel like dealing with a lot of riders with conflicting picking up times so they just cancel whatever ride is the inconvenient ride. It's asinine and theres only ONE reliable driver who comes at the pick up time. The rest are rude or try to get into girls pants. One guy used to cheat on his wife who also drove for the company, and she was a cool woman too poor thing had no idea her husband was smashing riders smh it's a despicable company and I'd never ride with them again. It's hit or miss with drivers being Unprofessional and run down vehicles.. sometimes they are okay, others they are horrible. I've used this company twice now through my medical transportation services. The first time was on April 12th. The driver was using a vape machine the entire time she was driving. Additionally, she never called her second pickup to make sure they were still scheduled for it, and we ended up sitting outside their place for 15 minutes AFTER she was told that he'd caught covid and had all of his appointments for the week canceled while she had him double check with his doctor that they were STILL canceled. Then, she proceeded to drive recklessly, not using her turn signal the entire time we were in the car with her. Then, when we got to my appointment, which was at UHS on Upper Front Street, she proceeded to enter the parking lot using the DO NOT ENTER lane! Now, I can understand if they don't really know the area that well, but considering she seemed to know enough about it but still went in that way, to drop me off is ridiculous, considering she entered the correct way to pick me up. I'm not positive whether I had the same driver today or not, but my appointment was at 2:30 pm in Norwich, and my pickup time was scheduled for 1 pm. My ride never showed. I had to call dispatch to find out where she was at 1:15 pm. When she got ahold of me, she was on her way to Afton to drop off her client and would call me when she got closer to me. I'm a 5-minute drive from Afton. But I never got a call from her. 2:05 pm rolls around, and I'm calling my doctor's office to tell them I'll be late and got told no wiggle room, so I had to cancel. At 2:15 pm, I was back on the phone with the dispatcher explaining that I wasn't getting to my appointment no matter how close she was to me, as I live 42 minutes away from the appointment location, and last I checked, they don't have rocket-propelled cars, so I had no way of getting there. This was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. If it weren't for the fact that I have to rely on them for medical transportation, since my only other mode doesn't have a reliable vehicle at the moment, I would not bother giving them another chance. I just paid $50 to go from right next to the Ommegang Brewery-back to Main Street in Cooperstown, a 10 minute taxi ride...because "the driver came from Oneonta"....so I have to pay for your drivers mileage to my pickup spot??? I have never heard of that IN MY LIFE! I was not told what my fare would be before i got in the taxi because the dispatcher "assumed I had ridden with her car service before". Even more awkward was the fact that the nice cab driver had to then insist on that fare after the dispatcher called it over the radio...The most awkward conversation...As a NYC tourist visiting for the weekend-just know that if there is ANY other respectable and professional alternative, please choose them over this service. Driver arrived 28 minutes (verified with a Nest camera) after prearranged pick up time so I drove myself. Had a missed call from who I assumed was the driver and called the number and all I got was excuses. I was very curt with the driver and I got a call from the "company" complaining about me being rude and was treated rudely myself. Person I talked to said that the office I was going to didn't open til 7:30, which is incorrect. I had an appointment for 7:30 and was told to be there by 7:15 and I was there at 7:10 and walked right in. YOU WOULD THINK THAT A MEDICAL TRANSPORT COMPANY SHOULD ALWAYS SHOW UP AT THE PREARRANGED TIME AS TRANSPORT TO A MEDICAL APPOINTMENT IS VERY TIME SENSITIVE. I would give zero stars if given the option. I started using them for medical transportation because I cannot drive myself. The first few times I used them, they showed up on time and I got to and from my appointments with no problems. For my last four doctor appointments, they called the evening prior to the appointment to confirm, then did not show up the day of the appointment. I had to reschedule these four appointments at the list minute. All of them were with specialists I had to wait months to get an appointment with. My dentist fired me as a patient due to my calling to reschedule at the last minute (twice) because A&D didn't show up. Unfortunately, living in a rural area, it is difficult to find medical transportation, but I will be looking for another company that is actually dependable. read more

This is a good taxi service because it is always available when other companies are not. The prices can be a bit steep depending on where you come from. Sometimes they charge $7 going from SUNY Oneonta into town, but then it is $8 to go from the Trailways bus stop to Southside which is much less of a distance. So to throw $16 is a lot in a single day. The drivers I have experienced also were not particularly friendly... Don't expect to get a cab until noon because I tried to and was told that drivers were up late the night before and that I would not get a cab until midday on a weekend. read more

A&D used to be a great taxi service. I used them often to get to my medical appointments but will never use them again. They dropped me off at a med appt. on Fri. Sep 3, 2021 50 miles from where I live. and were supposed to give me a ride back home but refused to give me a return back home. The Dispatcher (Dennis) was very rude and the driver would not let me roll down the window and refused to turn off his loud hard rock music. I was in extreme pain and this was an emergency trip to my medical provider. I will NEVER call them ever again. My First experience with this company was that they sent me a female driver 2 hours before, and this senior driver wanted me to make the trip without understanding that she had arrived early. Second experience, one of the male drivers in his 30s with addiction problems, who sends me text messages and calls for the same reasons, addiction, Third, an alleged trucker who now works for A&D on several trips (5) to NYC urinated on the vehicle due to an habit he apparently acquired as a truck driver. The smell of urine and the lack of hygiene of the vehicle in which I was traveling for more than 8 hours daily to and from Manhattan, is inexplicable. It's a total lack of respect, when dealing with a person stage 4 cancer, who is trying to survive a terminal illness. read more

It never matters how early my wife calls for a taxi, they always manage to make her late for work. She calls far enough in advance to be on time. Today she called at 7:20 for a ride to work and was told they would be right there. 25 minutes later she calls back and is told a couple of minutes. 5 minutes later she calls yet again and is hung up on. Nearly 35 minutes for a 3 minute taxi ride and is now late for work. Thanks alot A&D Your customer service is unparalleled. No, really, no other business can claim to be as f@#ked up as you are.
