Polite, quick service, and even when another driver was starting in with road rage (repeatedly cutting off, laying on the horn, flipping off) my driver never responded to it and drove responsibly. 5/5 will hire again read more

I was very pleased by the friendly, prompt, and responsible service I received from this taxi…read moreservice in Oneonta. The person who answered my initial call was professional and took my reservation--which was then fulfilled exactly as planned. I needed to be picked up at the bus station in the evening, and sure enough, the cab was right there when promised. The driver was courteous and good natured. The vehicle was clean and pleasant. I didn't have to hunt for a seatbelt, like you do in some cabs. Glad to know that a quality 24-hour can service is available when you need a ride from the Oneonta bus station to the middle of nowhere...or somewhere. I was also pleased to learn that this taxi company provides rides to the airports (Albany, JFK, etc.), New York City, or pretty much anywhere you might need to go. And, after many bad experiences with NYC cab drivers (and other drivers) who chat on cell phones and send text messages while driving, it was a relief that this driver kept his phone contact with the base quick and minimal. I've seen enough vehicular near-misses with folks on cell phones and other distractions to be very uncomfortable with this behavior. I was pleased that, after a quick check-in with the base, my driver focused on the road. I even learned a new short-cut home!

Clean, polite & professional. Always a pleasure.read more

It can be nightmare-ish here…read more During breaks, college students flock home and Trailways is always (over)packed. There have been several incidents where I've heard stories that sound like nightmares. I haven't had horrible experiences here, but I can't say that service is excellent. You're in a town where there is no competition, so don't expect much. I came here with a ticket Trailways mailed me after writing to them about their bad customer service back in NYC and this location was about to turn it down and tell me they cannot accept it. Hm. You must buy tickets in person in order to receive student discount. There are many snacks, notebooks, and sudoku books in this trailways for in-ride entertainment. Everything is decently priced. I'd suggest getting snacks that look like they've been flying off the shelves (like their strawberry Poptarts) because there are some things that look a bit old. There are a few chairs inside to stay warm in the winter during the hours Trailways office is open. There are also toilets. I was surprised that Trailways has busses that bring you all the way to Alaska from a tiny town like Oneonta.
