I took a different taxi company from the airport, but was unimpressed with the state of the taxi, and I had to wait forever. Once at the hotel, I called up every cab company I could find on the internet. Several of them had out of service phone lines, and the rest just didn't pick up. Finally, I found Anytime Taxi. The gentleman, whose name I sadly can't remember, picked up the phone right away. I ended up using his services everyday for the duration of my trip. He just started the business a few months ago, so he wasn't taking credit cards yet, but I was happy to pay him in cash. He kept a clean cab and was very organized, keeping a meticulous planner with all of his prearranged pickups. He also provides receipts, which I needed to expense the trips. He was joined by his sweet daughter on a few occasions, as he picks her up from and drops her off at school. She appears to be very polite, much like her father. Assuming his schedule allows, I will exclusively be using Anytime Taxi every time I'm in Binghamton. He his prompt, courteous, and professional. If he is going to be late, he will let you know, and if you need to adjust your pickup time, he gives a realistic expectation of when he'll be able to come. The person who answered my initial call was professional and took my reservation--which was then fulfilled exactly as planned. I needed to be picked up at the bus station in the evening, and sure enough, the cab was right there when promised. The driver was courteous and good natured. The vehicle was clean and pleasant. I didn't have to hunt for a seatbelt, like you do in some cabs. Glad to know that a quality 24-hour can service is available when you need a ride from the Oneonta bus station to the middle of nowhere...or somewhere. I was also pleased to learn that this taxi company provides rides to the airports (Albany, JFK, etc.), New York City, or pretty much anywhere you might need to go. And, after many bad experiences with NYC cab drivers (and other drivers) who chat on cell phones and send text messages while driving, it was a relief that this driver kept his phone contact with the base quick and minimal. I've seen enough vehicular near-misses with folks on cell phones and other distractions to be very uncomfortable with this behavior. I was pleased that, after a quick check-in with the base, my driver focused on the road. I even learned a new short-cut home!

Christopher responded right away and was polite and organized and was able to pick me up at 3am the next day (9 hours after I contacted him) and shuttle me to SYR. He was prompt, drive quite well, and arrived with a clean car. I want to thank Christopher to kick off my day on time to help me finally get back home. I then called him back and he said he was not coming to get us and then said, "Fuck you" again and then hung up again. I wouldn't pay a dime to these people.
