There have been several incidents where I've heard stories that sound like nightmares. I haven't had horrible experiences here, but I can't say that service is excellent. You're in a town where there is no competition, so don't expect much. I came here with a ticket Trailways mailed me after writing to them about their bad customer service back in NYC and this location was about to turn it down and tell me they cannot accept it. Hm. You must buy tickets in person in order to receive student discount. There are many snacks, notebooks, and sudoku books in this trailways for in-ride entertainment. Everything is decently priced. I'd suggest getting snacks that look like they've been flying off the shelves (like their strawberry Poptarts) because there are some things that look a bit old. There are a few chairs inside to stay warm in the winter during the hours Trailways office is open. There are also toilets. I was surprised that Trailways has busses that bring you all the way to Alaska from a tiny town like Oneonta.

Too tired to argue, I handled it the next couple days, ultimately he charged my CC 1028.00, 110.00 more than what I paid through Booking.com. When I got home I had to have them handle it and almost a month later I got my refund. We were there 7 nights, cleaning person said she was the only one cleaning the 25 rooms. Day 2, I had to hunt her down for T.P. She proceeded to give me a garbage bag with TP, towels and garbage bags. Never saw her again. We were here 3 years ago, it was clean and nice. It's now absolutely disgusting. We're from the area, if it hadn't been 4th of July week, we would have left but also they don't give refunds. One night the fire alarm went off at 1:30 am. That was special, someone was smoking in their room. Fred's was a place we went to for years for special occasion dinners, a friend told us he ate there recently and there was mold on his food. This place isn't going to last much longer. So disappointed, don't waste your time or money.

I went back the next day only to be told all sites for the summer were rented out. Clearly that was not true based on her computer check the day before. Best decision I've made in a long time. Literally 5 minutes from the complex. Everything about this place is a homerun. When you first walk in, there's a massive koi pond to great you. I loved seeing the koi as we came and gone everyday. Then Erin is there to great you. Actually, our first day, she greeted us as we pulled in. The nicest person we've met in a long time. Very helpful with information on the area and extremely accommodating. It's a bed and breakfast but unfortunately with nonstop baseball going on, we never had the opportunity to eat breakfast. We did explore the breakfast area one night. Very spacious and welcoming. Our room was great. King size bed with two sliding doors leading to a balcony over looking a brook and the woods.
