Parking was easy to get in and out. Located near major fast food restaurants as well as a walmart and supermarket down the road. In the morning they have a small selection of breakfast items even though they say they dont serve breakfast. It included a coffee counter, apple and orange juice cups, a few selections of breakfast bars and some fresh fruit (apple, orange, banana). It was a pleasant surprise to have that. Only thing I had an issue with was that the microwave was plugged into the same TV plug and it tripped the breaker. Had to reach around the furniture to trip the breaker back on. I used to live in the area and had to go back for a weekend trip. Was very pleased with the state of the hotel and the staff. I would 100% stay there again.

Just a short walk away are some bars and restaurants and across the street there is a CVS and they have food , drinks and anything else you need. We were definitely apprehensive about staying here but the red roof had just been renovated and was in pretty good shape. Fresh paint, new carpets and a first for me vinyl floors in the rooms. I'm guessing this was to help preserve the rooms since they are in a real snowy place. The bathroom was super clean with no mold or stains, the beds have bed bug covers and no signs of any life. The TV was acting up but once I turned off the power and reset it , it seemed to work fine. Overall for a small town place it's in good shape and clean.

Further, there isn't a breakfast option offered, which is a bit of a bummer. One upside though is that coffee is being refreshed all day by the front desk. For food items, you'll be better off choosing some of the local restaurants. The room itself is fine & cozy. The WiFi signal was strong, and the first floor didn't have the typical paper-thin walls. No flatscreen television here as of yet, so you'll have to get used to the old style of television here. The one major issue that I had with the room was that the shower tiles had mold within the bottom caulking, which I discovered the next morning. Major turnoff, which obviously affected my impression of the hotel. Not being too picky, but this alone has to change. Overall, the place isn't a terrible option when you consider other local options that may be few and far between in what is available.

The scrambled eggs and bacon on it were very good but the handful of dressed arugula was a little off putting. The bottom of the bun was super soggy and it really could not be picked up to eat.
