I had a horrendous experience with this place. After arriving for an appointment to open a business account, the rep I was scheduled with abruptly left her office, saying she'd be back. More than 10 minutes passed and I was still sitting there, so I walked out to the lobby, which was empty, and asked the two young tellers where the rep was. They just kind of shrugged and went back to looking at their phones. The woman returned and said she had to leave because she was double-booked. Someone else showed up and said he'd take over. So, I showed him my ID and EIN letter and he asked questions. That part was fine. He said he'd be in touch within a day or two. About a week later, I emailed him and asked him what was up. He was apologetic and gave some BS excuse. I told him him I had a bunch of cash at home that I'd really like to deposit. He said he had to check with someone, or something along those lines. More days went by. I called him and left a message asking for him to call me back. Nothing. I deposited my money at another credit union today and can honestly say that dealing with AZOne CU was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in my life. read more

Customer service is good, but the bank overcharge and lot and always letting fraud charges to Customers even if they have funds in the bank o cover, comes through your,account. The overdraft fee is 30 dollars, my money is always at the bank on time, but they hold your funds, over 3 or 4 days after it is deposited.. only 2 star bank rating. read more

I applied for a auto loan through OneAz Credit Union and everything went well but after I was pre-approved one of the Virtual Bankers (A.J. Miranda) reached out to me inquiring about the vehicle information I didn't know the specifics at the time but let him know it was used vehicle 2012 and I asked about any stipulations with the loan he just stated he would update the loan application and that they would only cover 65% loan to value and he sent me a new approval for with 1/2 percent increase I went to dealership and purchased vehicle and OneAz CU raised the rates significantly when I called A.J. Miranda he became extremely aggressive and provided no support he has provided the worst customer service and continued to blame me and the dealership he is the classic bait and switch! Horrible service never do business with OneAz CU and at all Cost avoid A.J. Miranda! read more

I have been banking here for almost ten years and have a car loan through this bank. Recently I had a subscription payment from Amazon go through that I did not authorize, as I canceled the subscription. I spoke to Amazon and they immediately saw the issue and refunded the payment. I called OneAZ to reverse the insufficient fee they charged me as I was missing $1.21 at the time the subscription went through and was charged $29 for this. Explained the situation and they informed me that it wasn't their problem as they didn't do it. Huh? I know, I'm explaining that it was an unauthorized charge and it is being refunded, therefore there would not be any insufficient funds. Still the rude customer service agent said it doesn't matter and that even if I called after the refund from Amazon they would not refund the fee. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and disappointing, especially since it was not my fault. To make matters worse the agent disconnected from me. I called OneAZ and was on hold for two hours and still didn't speak to anyone as it was then after 5pm. I also subscribe to text messaging alerts so I can avoid the fees and was not alerted of my insufficient funds of less then $2, but only when they charged me the $29 fee and was then informed of a negative balance of -$31. I will be closing this account. Beware of these charges, doesn't matter it seems if it was authorized or not, doesn't matter if it's a penny or a few dollars over. Extremely deceptive practice for any bank to do this, but especially a credit union. read more

They are terrible at answering the phone. The locations are understaffed and very slow when they are waiting on you. I was trying to get a service from them, called two different times and was placed on hold indefinitely. The second time after 18 minutes, I was dropped. The online app has problems. It will post payments as pending but before they post to your account they disappear completely. If you happen to check your balance in this period of time you may easily overdraw your account. read more

I've been a member since 1979. About a month ago, they changed the entire online setup. I had to hunt to figure out how to logon. It's been frustrating. This morning, I tried to logon but couldn't get the text confirmation, even after many attempts. I also couldn't "chat" to find out what was going on. I then called....geez. They've changed the recorded message and the new female voice is GRATING!!!! Finally, got someone on the phone. Apparently, because I choose to be on a browser that preserves my privacy, I can't get the text confirmation sent to me. The only browsers supported are Chrome, Firefox and Edge....SERIOUSLY???? I'm not interested in being tracked OR whatever other agenda awaits me. I'm closing the account. Update. Read the response from OneAZ. Your empathy touches me. Maybe if you multiply that by 10,000 and show you care about customer's privacy by including browsers that actually DO care about people's privacy. read more

I am writing to RAVE about One AZ Credit Union. I joined them in 1997 and have been with them ever since. I am a 'baby boomer' and place a high amount of importance on Customer Service, which seems to be very rare these days. I had a problem with my account and reached out to Lisa Day, the Manager of the Monroe Branch. She put me in touch with Anthony Sotelo, one of the Bankers. He was very kind and patient and helped me resolve my issue in a few minutes. I grew up watching "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart and it left a deep impression on me. I would recommend this Credit Union to anyone! Dealing with kind, efficient people is a lost art, but both Lisa and Anthony were excellent! read more

WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!!! One AZ Credit Union is putting their customers at risk. DON'T LOGIN to mobile banking. With their new system in place, customers cannot use VPN to login to their system. THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE. Yes, they have tighten their website security, but if customers do not use VPN, their financial and personal information is open for grabs between their computers or phones and the credit unioins server. I refuse to do any financial transactions without a VPN connection, which encrypts all information between your own device and the computers you are logging onto. And, to make matters worse, the customer service people at the OneAZCU dismiss customer concerns as unwarranted, and treat you like you're an idiot. In fact, the person I talked with told me, in so many words, to move to another financial institution. What???!!!! This is how OneAZC cares about their customers????!!!!! Now, I really don't trust them at all. It's going to be a lot of agony, but I can't stay with this credit union. If they don't care about MY SECURITY of MY FINANCIAL INFORMATION, I can't stay here. even though I've been a member for over 50 years I have serious concerns about this credit unions protection of their members every time I have called needing assistance, I have had to provide my full name, my member number, my phone number, and they DEMAND the full social security number. when I have said I don't feel safe giving all that information particularly the latter, as anyone with a scanner would now have all that sensitive info PROVIDED COURTESY OF ONEAZCU, the answer is ALWAYS along the line -- too bad we require it. This is the first bank I chose when I started college and 10 years later I'm still with them. They always have pretty quick service and I never have to wait too long to see a banker. Everyone that works here is generally friendlier than most tellers from other banks and seem to generally enjoy being there. I've had one or two bumpy service experiences with the tellers here over the past year but I will say that their customer service phone reps are some of the most pleasant, proactive and responsive people I've ever had the pleasure to speak to from any company. I've been doing all my financial business with OneAZ Credit Union since the mid 1980's. I have always been treated in a polite, professional business manner. I find the communication to be open, honest and friendly. I have checking accounts, savings accounts, a second mortgage, an auto loan, so I am in business with them. They're very competitive as I have shopped around to check their rates and they always come in with lower interest rates. Over the years I've had many different loans through OneAZ, I find them much easier to deal with than any bank, credit union or lending institution. I've always felt they have my best interest at heart. Whether I call in or go into the office, I've been treated fairly, friendly and respectfully. My son and nephew have multiple accounts, and my parents did too. I'm happily satisfied. read more

Warning. Do not use this credit union. I have banked with them for over thirty years and have had some minor issues. Recently they have been very bad and refuse to take responsibility for the bill pay system they contract with as part of their services. Also, when you call the customer non-service the telephone support doesn't know what they are doing or how to access your account. I suggest trying another credit union even if you have to pay fees. They will cancel deposited checks with no explanation and then it requires waiting on the phone for over an hour to discover that customer service can't help you either.
