My lease renewal was coming up and my landlord is a....I won't use cuss words. Anyway, I opted to buy something as renting as really changed over the past few years and it's really enjoyable anymore. We contacted a broker with Nexa Mortgage who kept dropping the ball so I went on Yelp to find a different one and that's when I found Scott and AZ Lending Experts. I contacted them and was SUPER impressed right from the initial conversation. Scott then contacted my realtor (who is also my sister) and she was also super impressed and will refer him to her clients. Anyway, my boyfriend and I were facing an issue with a contingency as when you own a home, it's sometimes difficult to buy a home as the offer would need to be contingent upon the sale of your existing home. My boyfriend was nervous and didn't want to sell his place without having a place lined up, which is understandable...and given the low inventory right now, it's difficult to wait for something to be listed and go under contract when you finally find a priority. Scott found a way around that for us. He also shared his recommendations, which we went with. His whole team is amazing...Emily is SUPER nice. I contacted her for the appraisal and she sent it right over to me and was just super polite and friendly. This is my first time buying a home and I have heard from others that it's a pain and a not-so-fun process but I honestly have to say it hasn't really been that bad for us and I have AZ Lending Experts to thank for that.
