The truck cab number was 2580 and the trailer number 8037. Picture included. I tried calling the company and the second I told them why I was calling they hung up. They clearly do not care about the safety of other drivers if they won't even hear me out. IF YOU WANT YOUR SHIPPED ITEMS TO ARRIVE SAFELY DO NOT USE CASTOR. If they don't care that their drivers are safe on the road they won't care about you They are going to cause great bodily injury or death in a crash if this continues. If they contact me by email to hear my concerns I will modify this complaint. If they don't contact me I will also update this report. Their corporate office is in San Diego and while I could stop by as a very concerned citizen I don't feel it's safe to do so. I don't know if other avenues are available to complain possibly the DOT. Maybe California Highway Patrol will take a report. I don't wish to go that route and I won't if they respond to me by email. Rivjon65@gmail.com

They arrived in a timely manner and were professional and diligent about their work. Anthony paid great attention to detail, pointing out the state of our furniture before the move began and taking great care of all our belongings. Even my plants made it to the new house safely. The crew was extremely efficient and got the job done without pause. They are cost effective and upfront about their pricing, which can be rare with moving companies. Hoping not to move again anytime soon, but if we do we will definitely be hiring these guys!

When we were initially comparing moving companies a lot of them told us certain furniture couldn't be moved safely, but Terry has a great grasp for safety and was able to move those items. All our items arrived packaged carefully and safely. We were really satisfied and happy all of our belongings were very carefully packed and arrived safely. Big moves can be stressful, but Terry was very helpful in answering our questions on how to pack, helped us loading and preparing and unpacking our belongings. Preparation was key ahead of time, the communication was great to get us prepared for the actual move and unpacking days. Would highly recommend!

I say privilege, because at the end of each move I am left with a profound sense of appreciation for the exceptional work ethic and personal character of the crew, the courteous communication, and careful respect for for our belongings and domain, AND also the running clock. Following their punctual arrival, Terry and Eric immediately began to run with endurance the race set before them. They never slacked or wasted time, and persevered with discipline through the summer heat, with efficiency. They never cut corners or compromised in the protection of the furniture to be moved, while navigating delicately through a maze of roommates belongings. Our most recent move was flawless, and included transport of a vehicle from Orange County to San Diego. Other smaller moving companies did not also offer the auto transport. We saved using this service through Motivated Military Movers. We also saved with multiple discounts, including one surprise discount, for my father's navy service on a sub during the Korean War. Terry and Eric worked diligently to save us time on the clock, so the added discount for my Dad, was yet another sign of extraordinary character. It was truly a pleasure to work with Terry again. Rarely do you meet people with such exceptional integrity and work ethic. They instilled great respect and trust in us as we watched them work so hard on our behalf. No doubt, we will use their services in the future. So thankful I found them twenty yers ago! I am adding this comment after reading an older review criticizing communication with MMM. I experienced quite the opposite! I understood that they were out on jobs, so most responses came after business hours, but were thorough and helpful. I asked many questions, which Terry answered graciously and patiently.

Well I mailed everything and I never got reimbursed. Companies like this one are just too much of a hassle to deal with. I just don't have the time and energy to deal with greedy people.

MOVERS BEWARE!!!…read more Please do not use this company. Please, please, please. I am an Air Force military member and have moved many times in the past few years from California to Arizona, Arizona to Germany, Germany to Arizona, Arizona to Tennessee and plenty of times around the city and around the world. Out of all the times that I have moved, even when I had my items shipped from overseas I have never had any broken/ dented items. It took the movers 2.25 hours to load items that took .75 hrs to unload. I was not only penalized by my property management company for exceeding my 5pm time limit but also charged for their extra hour of services. This company showed up with three men when I had initially requested two. I don't have a lot of things since I lived in a 600 sq ft apartment and I had previously packed all of my items in boxes with the exception of my wardrobe items because I read in a post below that the boxes were to be provided for an easy move. When the men got there only one man was working which was Artemas the driver/owner which he took a lengthy time wrapping up all my furniture in plastic and moving blankets; the second mover was moving boxes out slowly out the complex and the 3rd mover was doing god knows what inside the truck. After 2 hrs of seeing no progress with the move I got so frustrated I had to call for extra help from my brother. When 4pm hit I had to tell the men to stop and to head out to the new complex to avoid extra penalties. At this point they were only half way done with my 600 sq ft living space items. As I was leaving my complex I noticed my fire extinguisher was damaged/ broken in the ground and was brushed behind a door to hide the evidence. I took a picture of this to document. We arrived at the complex and as we arrived the property manager offer to help unload to help speed things up and get out on time. The movers were helpless I still ended up moving and doing heavy lifting myself and inconveniencing others which is why people hire movers to avoid these issues. When the property manager saw the items that were inside the truck he commented that he couldn't believe it took them 3hrs to move the little bit of items that were loaded in the truck. We unloaded all the items in 45 minutes which incurred just the same distance back and forth from truck to property along with elevator included. Horror doesn't end there. As we unwrapped the items to hand back the blankets i noticed a huge dent on the side of my wooden bar. I pointed that out to them and asked if i was going to be reimbursed for the damages. Artemas, responded defensively and said that neither him or his men did it without even asking his men. When I asked him to stop speaking for his men and let them speak he asked his men in a demeaning manner if they had made the damages. None of them admitted to the damage and then said that I did the damage when I was unloading the bar from the truck and that he was not liable for it. I told him I would file a complaint at a later date and would contact the company, but I guess I am Shit Out of Luck since he is the owner of course there is no need to fear being liable for things. They also at end of the move made us return the wardrobe boxes so i ended flipping all my clothes upside down to on the floors of my bedrooms to get them out as soon as possible. This issue will be directed to the Better Business Bureau for any disciplinary actions on this business. But for now please beware of this company. I would suggest to go with a different company to avoid any physically, emotionally, and financially heartache.

I feel like this may be the longest review ever written, but this Company deserves every accolade…read morepossible. They were the best I have EVER had and believe me, I am somewhat of an expert, having moved probably 50 times. Angel and Chris were right on time, and they were what I could only call AMAZING. They were calm, professional, easy with me - ( I was still packing when they arrived ) They took kid-gloves care of every stick of my furniture, most of which are antiques. They bounded up and down two flights of stairs and made great use of time. They packed my UHaul like consummate professionals, and made it all fit like a puzzle. I could have used the larger truck, but they made it all work like it was no big deal. They followed us to our unloading destination 25 miles away and unloaded just as perfectly and professionally as they loaded. It was really a sight to behold!!! And let's not forget Chantelle in the office. She was so thorough, kind, and calm - actually understanding what I was going thru with this move... She talked me through it with gentle kindness from my first call to my last. I probably treated her like she was my therapist, and she didn't mind one bit. She UNDERSTANDS how tough this stuff can be. She takes the TIME to work with people, no matter their level of distress and confusion. And last but certainly not least; pricing. They are the most reasonable out there, hands down. I had a two pronged move, (load and unload) and they traveled 25 miles - from Del Mar to Coronado. As a comparison, my last movers took me 9 blocks, and load and unload cost the SAME. Unreal. No reason to go anywhere else but Speed Loaders, ever! They bring 100% - In every area of the experience. If ever I have the opportunity to recommend a moving company or need to use one again, (Heaven forbid!) Speed Loaders are my guys, all the way. I can't possibly say enough about them, but I will recommend them to everyone I know that moves - and I live in a Military Community :) - and shout their praises from the rooftops. Thank you Chris, Angel, Chantelle, and Speed Loaders for making my moving day a total success and making it feel like a breeze! :) Susan

Do not recommend. I would not hire this company again and I strongly advise against using them…read morethrough HireAHelper. They arrived 2.5 hours late, despite a confirmed start time. I was told four movers would be assigned, but only three showed up. From the start, I clearly explained which items were fragile and needed to be wrapped and secured carefully. Despite this, I repeatedly caught them loading furniture without any wrapping or protection. One of my expensive tables was dropped because a mover attempted to lift it alone instead of asking for help. Another mover was about to load the table legs into the truck without wrapping them at all, and I had to intervene and ask another worker to correct it. The entire process felt careless and disorganized. To make matters worse, after loading the truck, they left items behind. Please see the text message screenshot in this review where I asked them to return and load them intro the truck. I called Speed loaders the next day to get them to come back and the lady wouldn't pick up my phone. I had to go through HireAHelper and they wouldn't guarantee that they would return and wouldn't help in any way. They also charged me incorrectly for time. When I questioned it, I was told it would "be rounded up anyway," which felt dishonest and unprofessional. When my belongings arrived at my new destination, the movers I hired there were shocked by how poorly everything had been packed and loaded. Fragile and high-value items were not protected, were loaded last, stacked improperly, and placed without regard for weight distribution. As a result, I discovered significant damage upon unloading, including shattered mirrors, broken marble furniture, a completely destroyed TV screen, bent metal furniture, and damage to a new bicycle. Several items were beyond repair, and others require professional restoration. The aftermath has been exhausting and costly. I lost expensive furniture, spent significant time documenting damage, and incurred serious financial loss. Despite nearly $5,000 in damages, HireAHelper and SpeedLoaders are offering only $193 in reimbursement. Overall, this was a stressful and unacceptable experience from start to finish. I will be pursuing further legal action to seek proper reimbursement, and I strongly encourage others to look elsewhere.

The two-man crew Francisco and Diego were great, they called before arriving and were very courteous and professional. Despite the long walk to the truck and the up and down on the condo's steep stairs, they were still very professional during the whole thing. It made the stress of a move much easier.
