I didn't know exactly what I wanted but he guided me through the process and never tried to up-sell or pressure me into anything. Next, I had a very tight schedule. Vijay worked his ass off to get my car done within my timeline while providing real time updates, pictures, and calling me to inform me of problems he ran into or if I was happy so far. Lastly and most important the outcome. Not only was I blown away with how my car came out but he went above and beyond cleaning all the door jams, ceramic coating every square inch of the car and cleaning the interior. If you ever need any detailing work done come here. Im very OCD when it comes to my cars and so is Vijay and everyone at My Paint Doctor so I knew my car was in great hands. Not to mention the value of everything. His prices are killer for the work that he does. Thanks again Vijay!!

I brought in…read moreour BMW X6 last year for a ceramic coating, and they completely knocked it out of the park. The attention to detail is next level--every inch of the car was treated with care. The wheels and tires looked brand new, the interior was spotless, and the finish on the exterior was flawless. What really sets them apart is consistency. Every time I go back, they deliver that same "new car" look, feel, and even smell. It's honestly addictive. I've gotten so many compliments on how good my car looks, inside and out. They also hooked me up with a lifetime discount on detailing packages, which means I'm a regular now--and happily so. A quick tip for first-timers: they're located on the bottom level of a parking garage, so you'll need to grab a ticket to enter. Don't worry though--the team will take care of letting you out so you won't be charged for parking. If you're looking for a detailer that truly cares about their work and consistently delivers amazing results, Capitol Shine is it. Five stars all the way.

Afterwards, I contacted Hot Tint in May 2022. They responded to me that day and told me to stop by the shop. I made an appointment for later that week. When I arrived, I asked them to install the unit and a backup camera. I can't recall how much time it took but it was done in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy with their service. I called a few other shops around this time. A couple had other projects and couldn't get to me for a few months. A couple of others didn't want to touch the van because of its age, manufactured in 1989. Hot Tint was straight-forward. They said let them see what I have and they'll let me know if they could use what I had or needed something else. I appreciate that approach. I did have a couple of problems but they were responsive. While driving home, my radio rebooted twice. The cable came loose so they told me to return to the shop so that they could fix it. The second is my clock resets to 12:00 every time the vehicle is restarted. They told me to bring it by so that they can fix it but I haven't. I'm rarely on the screen to see the time and just had other priorities. I mention these items to show that they were responsive and willing to troubleshoot the problem. I rate them high also because there are many mechanics and technicians who can work on a classic vehicle but refuse to do so. There are a handful like Hot Tint that jumps right in and do the job. I'm finally ready to add an amp and subwoofer so I will be contacting them again soon.

I was happy to schedule tinting and a remote start installation. Unfortunately, my experience walking through the door this time was immediately negative. I understand I was 39 minutes late, but the front desk representative repeatedly emphasized how important their time was, without considering other factors like traffic. The constant badgering made the situation uncomfortable and unprofessional. Ultimately, I decided to leave because the interaction didn't feel respectful or customer-focused. This is not the best way to treat a returning client who has had positive experiences before.
