Fast, convenient, and courteous. I had 3 hours to spare in South Natomas so I figured I'd get some car maintenance out of the way. I called on a Monday morning about a tire rotation, oil change, and smog check. They told me sure, head on over. After explaining the charges for each (which were acceptable based on other rates that I had checked in the area), they got to work and sent me on my way after 25-30 minutes. Impressive stuff. As an added bonus, the waiting room is quite spacious with comfortable leather couches. They have a couple of light snacks, water, and coffee as well. I can't recall the last time I felt content waiting for my car to get fixed up. These guys will have my business again. read more

One Stop Smog is my go to auto shop in Natomas! I've been coming here for about four years now. Good customer service and they get me in and out quickly within 20-30 minutes for a smog test. read more

I have a scion XD that has been serviced here since I have owned it. They have taken cared of the maintenance oil changes; Every issue that has raised from shocks to electrical coils component replacement. The quality is top notch and the value is fair with the service pricing. It is so rare to find an all in one shop that can do what these guys achieve. A+ and highly recommend their work to anyone! read more

Mr. G was great as always. He took excellent care of my 2021 BMW 530i on several occasions, and has fair, reasonable prices. I got my car battery replaced amongst a few other services. From my first visit, I could tell this isn't the kind of shop that tries to upsell unnecessary repairs or take advantage of customers. They are quick, efficient, and professional. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Highly recommend! read more

Trustworthy local mechanic. This is my go-to spot for any tune ups and oil changes! Very friendly and quick service!

Service was very quick. Was able to get in and out within and hour and a half. Great customer service.

I was in and out so quick. The only negative was the cost of doing a smog check on a motorhome. But I checked pricing and they charged appropriately. Very nice people. read more

I don't do reviews often. But One Stop Smog & Auto Repair is the best mechanic I've been to. No joke. I've taken my car to multiple mechanics for a persistent check engine light and intermittent battery/charging concerns, and I kept getting the same answer: "It's the MAF sensor." I replaced the MAF and the problem still wouldn't go away. I brought it to One Stop Smog & Auto Repair and the difference was immediate. They didn't guess--they did a truly extensive diagnostic that took hours, including a smoke test of the intake system. They found, among other things, a torn PCV hose causing an intake leak, and they replaced it. The biggest surprise? When I came to pick up my car, they told me there was no charge. I've been quoted up to $200 for diagnostics like that elsewhere. Honest, thorough, and genuinely charitable. I can't say enough good things--customer for life. Definitely RECOMMEND One Stop Smog & Auto Repair! read more

Easiest smog check ever. In and out within 30 mins! Great customer service and reasonable price. I'd come back!

A very famous lyricist , Neil Peart of the band Rush once stated: "the most endangered species? The honest man." One Stop Smog and Repair run by Mr. Singh and his son Raj epitomize honesty, integrity, dedication and punctuality. Let's just put it this way. My wife and I drive from Emeryville to Sacramento for the specific reason to get all repairs and servicing done at this place. We've been doing it for years and this is testimony to the outstanding customer service and integrity you will receive at this place. Thank you Mr. Singh...thank you Raj! read more

Great place, can't stress that enough. Great guys here, and they made a bad situation, such as car problems, into a very easy process. With a vehicle from the late 90's that I might unfortunately finally have to part ways with soon, I've been to a few auto shops in the area and this place has by far been my best experience. Car problems are inevitable, but I know where I will be getting those problems solved moving forward. read more

We came here after a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Northstar Smog and Auto Care on 3214 Northgate Blvd. They don't do a lot of chit chatting here because they're busy getting you in and out. It's hard to find an honest business these days. They answered all questions, both on the phone and in person. Reasonably priced. Call them first and they'll tell you the best time to go so you won't have to wait around. I have brought two vehicles here so far and will continue to bring my vehicles to get smogged and will continue to refer them to friends and colleagues. read more

MY ONE AND ONLY! I have been coming here for years, and have only ever been treated well. Raj is always so patient and helpful with anything I need! He is so good with explaining what needs to be done, or what service he's providing to me which I truly appreciate. I like knowing specifics of whatever it may be- oil change, service, buying new tires, or even adding some cosmetic additions to my car. Raj has always been there any time I had flats, or needed servicing. Everyone is treated with respect like family here, and I appreciate them. Today's service was cosmetic- painting my brake calipers! Raj is always so accommodating and makes it happen. I appreciate that he takes his time with everything. No rush, no "half-ass" shit here. read more

I brought my truck with automatic transmission in for alignment 2/4/2025. I asked them to correct my steering wheel to be centered. Afterward, when I left the shop, the steering wheel is off to the right side. Brought it back and the owner insisted on driving my truck and saying "my son is a professional" and he kept shouting about his friends who hunts and gave meat to him and kept asking me if I hunt after I repeatedly told him I do not hunt and only fish. He put in manual gear until I asked him to put into Drive and speeding down N. Market drive, Northgate and to highway 80 and and exit onto Truxel and the whole time he said excitedly "it is centered" while I could not get a word. I drove today on I-80 from Watt to Northgate and the steering wheel is way off going straight line with no turn on the highway. I cannot take picture since I was driving and only want to let all know since I will not come back to this business. AVOID at all cost. Update. Shop called and my truck steering is now straight. Updated the rating to 5 stars. read more

Came in earlier today to get my car smogged, oil changed (long overdue) and look into a couple of minor issues (key fobs not working and slight rattling noise when accelerating). Rajpreet was extremely helpful by immediately looking at my keyfobs and noticing that the metal touchpoints weren't making contact. Quickly adjusted the touchpoints and both key fobs worked. This saved me a couple hundred dollars as I was about to order new fobs and have them reprogrammed. They quickly performed the smog check and confirmed no issues. Then provided an oil change and then Rajpreet's father took me in the car for a quick spin to check on the rattling noise. Luckily, the noise went away as he confirmed that he didn't notice any loose connections or issues that would've caused the sound. He was helpful in providing advice on my car as I'm nearing 85k miles. Picked up the keys and checkout was a smooth process. Will definitely be going back again. Do yourself a favor and drop by to get your car serviced by an honest and professional staff who will go above and beyond. *** Bonus Points *** for Scooby, a sweetheart, shop dog who loves being pet and rubbed behind the ears while you wait for you car. read more
