I did an online estimate from their website last night which stated they could do brake fluid replacement. I have the email with the estimate and their location. I get there for an oil change and brake fluid replacement only to be told this location doesn't do brake fluid replacements. I normally go to the dealership for my oil changes but since I'm taking care of my mom who has cancer, I needed somewhere close to do these services. Since I was already there, I had them do the oil change but they've wasted my time and I have to make time to go all the way out to the dealership for the brake fluid replacement. Not happy with the website lying about the offered services. Based on them wasting my time while I'm caring for my mother who is literally dying, I would never use this place or recommend them again. I was so upset that I have to be away from my mother a second time now and online trying to find some place to do the brake fluid that I forgot to mention to the cashier about the $33 off coupon even though I mentioned it to the person checking me in. So not only did they waste my time, I overpaid. They didn't even apologize for the website and estimate for their location being incorrect. read more

To my surprise, Jiffy Lube said there's currently no waiting, come on down. My husband and I hopped in the car and were greeted by the friendly staff. I believe we met Jair first, then Lariah. Quick, fast and easy. I needed an oil change and just drove over. They have 3 stalls here ready to go. You can choose to sit inside the vehicle and be guided on instructions (open trunk, turn engine on, etc) or can wait inside. I chose to wait in my vehicle. They tested my blinker lights and did all the inspection screenings and looked at my air filter. Gave me the option to change it and pricing if I wanted. I only changed cabin filter at this time. Did my oil change and I paid inside and that was pretty much it! Oil change prices are pretty standard here as other places. read more

Broke the valve stem on my tire after offering to fill it up with air while servicing my oil, and didn't even tell me. Woke up the next morning to a flat tire and no way to fill it up because of the broken piece. Didn't even offer to pay for a repair or fix the mistake and even suggested I may have caused the problem. Don't bother going to this jiffy lube let alone any other. read more

I went in this morning since my light came on. I had gotten serviced back in July but I've been on the road a lot more figured that was the reason I needed to come in so soon. The gentleman at the bay who greeted me checked my history and stated I didn't need to get service with the type of oil I had gotten. He went and checked my oil and explained I was full and mentioned that perhaps my lights weren't reset. He was kind enough to do it for me. He could have easily duped me and gotten money out of me but he was honest, genuine, and had integrity in his work. After going to this location for a year now I will no longer bring my car to this location. First bad experience: I left after getting a full synthetic oil change & as I'm driving down the road I hear a scraping noise so I took it right back and they didn't put the screws back on that holds the skid plate and the undercarriage was hanging. Second and last bad experience: Had a full synthetic oil change a few weeks later I kept hearing a metal/rough noise when driving. Took it to my mechanic and he advised me that I had very low oil and could have blown my engine. How is this possible when I just received an oil change from Jiffy Lube and my car has no mechanical issues. I will NEVER go back to this location or any Jiffy Lube.I advise everyone to go elsewhere for your oil change ! read more

Jiffy lube, in a rush get the jiffy service. Take it how you want good or bad. It can be a flip of the coin on a good visit or not so perfect visit. Been coming here for many years. From personal to the many trucks i had in my fleet at my old job. Lol the good ole days. Well over the years the service has been good mostly with some ummmmm.. hiccups here and there. There will forever be a change in management and the work force they employ. For the main part the workers have been friendly for the techs that take you in and go over the wants and needs for you vehicle. I haven't had any complaints there. They never been forecful on stuff i dont want or need. They just say its recommended at this time and i say yes or no and thats it. The lobby has been clean, they do have coffee, amd now the water cooler. The little bottles of water and fridge has been removed. Also have some magazines and coloring books and crayons for kids. The pros and cons. Pros: I have had some really cool managers and techs who have helped me with coupons and deals they have going. You dont need to print them just show them from website or emails. Free top off up to 2 quarts oil if you go in before the 3000 miles are up. Cons- I have had them charge me for replacement wipers but forgot to put them on. Had to go back and show them, and they put them on. You could tell they were old and not new. I have had my transmission stick not put back in fully and wonder why my car was burning and smelling funny. They cleaned up the area that got oiled up, topped off the tranny fluid and pushed the stick in fully this time. In a fast paced world like a fast food restraunt orders will be messed up, things forgotten. That just makes me learn and be more resilient when i goto places in a fast paced enviroment. Always rememeber to look over stuff. They have been pretty good at fixing there mistakes. I still come here for convienence and nothing else. Just remember keep an eye out when done when they do the after service and show you to your car. They do the after evaluation which is a good time to be on your game amd look over carefully, nothing like leaving to find something wrong and drive back. Have three cars and tend to go here because it is convenient. Last time, they did not reattach a hose. The check engine light came on. I did not know they had done something wrong and I do not drive the car often, so it was a month or two before I took it to the mechanic. They charged $100 to run the codes and realized what it was. When I called jiffy it took me several weeks to get a ahold of anyone. I asked for a refund they said they would send me a coupon. Never came in the mail. They also tried telling me I should not have waited so long to call, and implied they would not cover the whole cost because I had waited? Horrible customer service. Make sure you get a coupon online. They're on the jiffy lube website, and make sure the location takes coupons. The cashier's were pleasant. Went in for an oil change, and the courtesy service where as they check fluids, breaks, filters, wash your windows, and vacuum your floor. The guys who do the window washing and vacuuming had the day off the day I got my oil change. The waiting room is small but has a water cooler. Pulled up and was greeted by a gentleman wearing a mask and a tablet. Pulled up my account and verified my identity. Told him that I didn't want anyone in my car so he signal me to drive my car into the garage where I stayed on my phone while the changed the oil. 10 minutes later, they signaled me to drive out, parked the car and settled the bill in the office which was opened and well ventilated. Got a premium oil change today for $160, this was the price after using a coupon. Premium is just the fancy word used when changing the oil for an imported car otherwise it's just called a full synthetic oil change and it's priced around $100 bucks. After it was done and I got back in the car the Service Soon message popped so I let the attendant know. He said that resetting it was very tricky and only his manager could reset it and his manager wasn't there and to come back tomorrow at 7:00am. I spent the next 5 minutes in a parking lot watching YouTube videos on how to reset it. Not tricky at all and actually very easy to do. but reset should be done by whoever is changing oil not the customer. Just happy to get the oil change I needed but not so happy about the knowledge of the staff and the price. read more

It's been a while since I trusted Jiffy Lube with more than just an oil change. However, that changed today. For years their service had been slipping while I watched employees doing more socializing vs oil changing. I even started pushing my oil changes to 6K or going other places. Well, Ladies and Gents, it's a new day here now!! Today, I let them replace rear bulbs and clean a lifetime filter in addition to the oil change. I got to chat it up with the manager and we realized we have history going way back to 1998 when I first started coming to this location. I remember when he left and the service just plummeted. I'm glad he's back, I'm glad the employees are taking ownership and pride in their work and I left feeling like I don't have to lift my hood or look under my truck when I get home. I normally don't write reviews after a first visit or good service. I like to go a few times so I can get the true flavor of a place. Stopped in at this jiffy lube location to get my 5k service 2 weeks ago and haven't been able to shake the memory of such terrible service. A "15 minute" service according to the gentleman who entered me in turned into 45 minutes, meanwhile the teammember working at my car's bay came in to the waiting room twice for a cup of water as well as chat it up with the cashier. As I look through the window into the shop to see the delay, I see 3 of 9 team members on their phones. As I'm signed out for the service, the cashier lists all the services they performed, which as I check my car was not the case. No window cleaning, not mat cleaning, no topping off of fluids. My washer fluid light was still on and the reservoir bone dry! Had to check the oil level after that, which is why they get 2 stars, at least that was topped off correctly. To the owner - Quality, not quantity. Cut your overhead and get productive workers. read more

Worst place ever Located north of Sacramento, the service here sucks. I showed them a coupon I found on the main Jiffy website, before I gave them my car keys. They kept saying "yes we accept coupons". But after my car was opened up in their repair station, the manager showed me some options for oil changes, and refused to honor my coupon. He even admitted the coupon had the right address for that Jiffy location, but he refused to take it, without any explanation. I drove all the way there because of the coupon. And they just flat out refused it without explanation. What a scam. The coupon is from their website. At that point he pressured me to make a decision. "What do you want to do?" He asks. I was trying to think of some kind of compromise, but he kept insisting, because he had other folks he wanted to service, and wanted me to buy or kick me out fast. He even lied and said "Pep Boys down the street has oil changes for $20". I went to the exact Pep Boys the Jiffy manager mentioned, and they said the lowest oil change option they have is $35. Wow, the Jiffy manager totally lied. First he refused to honor coupons. Then he LIED. Talk about great customer service. This place is actually kind of small, and cramped inside. You almost feel claustrophobic once you step in, because there are walls everywhere and you get walled in. Who knows what they are doing with your car? At the end of the day they care only about getting your car out as quickly as possible. You are just $ and they don't care about doing a good job. Do not recommend going here. Stopped at this location because my check engine light came on and was told that "Jiffy Lube doesn't have the scanners any longer and they no longer offer that service" and then it was suggested I go across the street to O'Reilly and get a scanner. Went to the location on capital that I usually go to for oil changes and they didn't it no problem. I will stick to that location as they are always very helpful at that one. I guess it is Northgate so really, what can you expect lol. read more

Arrived at 8:15AM. Welcomed by a friendly young man named Jose. He gathered the mileage and VIN # then filled out the invoice for me. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Long enough to have a complimentary cup of coffee and send 2 work emails as I waited. The waiting lobby was very clean with a great assortment of magazines. I also liked the cleanliness of the "all gender restroom." When Jose called my name to give me the keys, he didn't just hand them to me. He asked me to come with him; as he opened the hood to visually show me the level of the new oil was accurate. Then he explained everything they had done including air in my tires, and washing all my windows! I'll be back after 5,000 more miles. First time customer at this JL. I dropped by yesterday, mid-week at 10:30 AM to have routine oil/filter maintenance work. I was immediately greeted with a smile by Jonathan as I drove into the parking lot and quickly invited to drive closer to the garage work area. Then a nice young lady (Robin) immediately came out and said the work would take 30 min. max, gave me a price quote and offered a $20 coupon reduction. As I got out of the car, I was pleasantly surprised when "Ace" (the store mgr) came out to say hello and shake my hand. He even recognized my voice from a previous phone chat with him a few days ago, when I had called asking about prices and wait times. A mere 15 min. later, Robin came back out to show me my vehicle's rather dirty AC cabin filter and asked if I also wanted that replaced for an additional $35. I agreed because it was pretty dirty, hadn't been checked or changed in 8 years. JL staff (including Adrien and Presha, who worked on the vehicle) also checked all my vehicle's fluid levels and tire pressures, and even cleaned my car windows and vacuumed the interior floors! This service (the Signature Service Oil Change option) is a bit more extensive and pricier than just a basic oil change, but IMO it was worth it for peace of mind, esp with older vehicles like mine. Best of all, my entire wait time for the work was about 20 minutes! I paid a total of $126.80 including tax, fees. Granted, I probably lucked out and happened to visit on a day, time when they were not swamped with customers. But overall, I was/am VERY PLEASED with the courtesy, efficiency, and proactive approach to caring for me and my vehicle and I will definitely return to them for future vehicle maintenance needs. The only downside to this JL is the EXTREMELY small waiting room and parking lot which could understandably result in longer lines and waiting times, esp. on busy/crowded days. But it's just a small JL store, not a large dealership with AC, munchies, big screen TVs, spacious waiting rooms with comfy seats and bathrooms. Therefore, I gave my 5-star rating based largely on super friendly, proactive customer service and work efficiency because, after all, it is not fair to fault the employees for something beyond their control a tiny facility, overflow crowds on busy days. They seem to be doing the best they can, working as fast as they can, with limited resources. read more

I got here at 8:10, they open at 8, & there were already 5 cars ahead of me. Jose came directly to my car, greeted me, asked me what services I would need today, let me know a customer service person would be with me shortly & offered me water while I waited. Great customer service before I even turned my car over to them. They offer water & coffee, like every jiffy lube does, their waiting room is pretty small but they do have chairs outside as well. Everyone looks like they are working efficiently to make sure that no one is waiting longer than they need too. I chose to do a summer package they were offering, so my service took a little longer than I was initially expecting, but overall, I felt very taken care of & I would come back to this location. read more

I got my oil changed at the Northgate location in Sacramento last month. The items that were listed as completed on the receipt were not done: there was no fluid top offs, the pressure in my tires was not checked, and I had to ask them to check my lights. The worst part is after I got it done, my car started leaking oil. I wasn't sure of what was going on, so I took my car to a local Honda dealer. I was told that whoever changed my oil did something incorrectly, and it would take over $1,100 to fix it. I have an extended warranty, but it doesn't cover mechanical errors.
