OSM Worldwide is the incarnation of One Stop Mailing in the guise of a "shipping consolidator"...meaning a company that will do the presort work and sit on parcels until they have enough to bulk deliver to USPS. Beware: their tracking is a bald-faced lie, the company lies about parcel status, Customer Service copies and pastes boilerplate from the website when inquiry is made. Different Customer Service agents give wildly different reasons for delays, and use phrasing like, "Hopefully, it will be delivered by...", and "It appears to be lost in transit...", none of which gives hope that their "data-driven" service is any less fictional than their parcel status reporting. Most recent experience: item shipped 24 July was received in Secaucus, NJ on 27 July...and has now been there for over a month. OSM denies they have it, claims Secaucus is NOT a facility, but just "a zip code." Status shows "Picked up by shipping partner"; guess who "shipping partner" is: OSM Worldwide. Two Customer non-Service reps say " Picked up" doesn't really mean what the entire English-speaking world thinks it means...turns out it means "logged into the system". Who knew? Worst service ever. NOTE: One Stop Mailing, LLC is the parent company of OSM Worldwide -- which is the shipper name that buyers find, once these tiresome problems arise for them. NOW it's all coming back to me! What's just happened with an eBay purchase happened once before (with a different eBay merchant) . . . but since sellers don't disclose the shippers they use, we can't avoid making the same mistakes. Like the earlier seller, this one uses OSM Worldwide, a shipper that "partners" with USPS. And, as before, it's taking OSM forever to get my small, inexpensive item into the hands of USPS. I ordered on April 23rd. USPS tracking site, per USPS tracking number provided by seller, shows item picked up by OSM the next day. Here we are, 11 days later, and there's been no update at all to the tracking information. (Item not yet given to USPS; item is still sitting who-knows-where.) I'm also giving a poor review to this merchant, for using OSM. I doubt that sellers bother to read reviews of shippers, before picking the cheapest one . . . but if this seller, or any other, had bothered to look into OSM -- or cared about the many poor reviews THEY'VE gotten because they use OSM -- they would see the easy-to-find tons of negative OSM reviews on Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau (all of which cite the very same issues). Garbage. Your job is to DELIVER mail, specifically as a 3rd party to USPS. Yet, for no known reason, parcels sit for weeks on end not being given to the very efficient USPS service. My item was ordered April 20th via ebay. WEEKS later it has not budged from OSM Worldwide - no explanation why and you cant reach anyone. They ask you to send an email message, promise to get back to you in 24 hours, and then that message goes totally ignored. As did a second one. USPS cannot help you unless they have the package in their hands, even if it has a tracking number. So, I've accepted there is no way in heck this item is arriving for Mothers Day, and made alternative present plans. It's a bummer. The lousy customer service is an even bigger bummer. ADVICE: avoid sellers using this service and assume the LATEST delivery estimate is the most accurate (which was rarely true with eBay). 2ND ADVICE: Use #Amazon. read more

The purchases were made on Amazon, I've had mostly a good experience with their shipping. I find it rare for deliveries to go astray (as long as my local postman is competent, lol). HOWEVER, I just had a couple of used books I ordered not show up as stated, so I started looking at the tracking. The company used was OSM Worldwide, which I had never actually heard of. Upon reviewing the package tracking I was.... astounded!!! I'm in Springfield, Oregon - the package was coming from Phoenix and followed this route; on Friday: Phoenix to Las Vegas, sounds fine. On Saturday: Las Vegas to Sacramento, California - still fine, but this is where it starts going bonkers! On Sunday it went from California to Eugene, Oregon (which is literally our next door neighbor for those unfamiliar with the area) then Portland, Or (rather farther away) then... for some unknown reason BACK to California then again to, Eugene, Or and finally ended in Portland. That was just on Sunday! On Monday it went from Portland back to Eugene then to Springfield (OMG that's my town, almost here....) but.... for some reason it then went BACK to Portland and from there to Albany, Or then Corvallis, Or and finally ended up back in Eugene. On Tuesday it got to Springfield again and supposedly was finally delivered to my house (which it was not). IN EACH AND EVERY transfer from one place to another the tracking info states that it was handed off to a different carrier... this is a bit INSANE for a single used paperback book I paid around 5 bucks for. And how, in the name of everything you hold dear, are they supposed to find my books (because the other one I ordered basically did the same thing) considering how many times they changed hands???? When I see the extremely poor rating of this company, OSM Worldwide, which bills itself as "reliable" I have to wonder why folks keep using them. I'd ordered books from two different sellers and the books were being sent via OSM (and then being transferred to the USPS). I had the dates when OSM received both books and also the (USPS) tracking numbers, but eons passed without the USPS receiving the packages and I finally e-mailed OSM. I received a prompt response, telling me the "delivery" (I'd included *both* tracking numbers) was interrupted and no new delivery date was available - and they told me to contact the "retailer" for more information about the delivery interruption (?!). I responded immediately, telling them it was obvious that I'd included *two* tracking numbers - and I asked if they were inferring that OSM had never received either package. I *never* received a response, plus it took several more days until I finally received each book. (Note that OSM has several locations). read more

Ok, so I left a pretty bad review of them but thought I'd redo it because it probably wasn't fair and I did get my delivery sooner than expected. I saw my order jump from NY to NV and then stay in NV for 3 days without any sort of update and then finally see it pop up on USPS's tracking in my city with the notice that it would get to me in 3 days but it actually got there a little early. Other people may have to wait longer but after some digging around about why companies use them instead of say just UPSing it direct to you is as you might have guessed: Money. I don't know all the details but these people find the cheapest ways to store things for their customers (in my case ifixit) and ship them so the tracking looks weird and like your order took a countrywide tour. I guess they have fancy computers to figure out the most cheapest way to do it. I do wish that they had better tracking info while the package is with them before it gets to USPS. I also wish smaller, non-amazon companies who use them, actually tell their customers before hand that it may take a little longer but hey you get what you pay for... In my case, the package did come just a little later than I expected so overall it worked out. read more

Not only is their customer service NON existent but their leadership does not care either because "they were already paid" I had an item that shows it is at the facility less than 10 minutes from my house and now they are saying it may be lost when it shows they have it. Customer service said "it takes 2-5 business days to transfer to USPS" they said that to me after emailing them that they were 2+weeks past the expected delivery date. I ordered a package through a reputable Resaler. they had said it would take 7-10 business days to be delivered. well we are coming up on 10 days and nothing. when I track the package the USPS states that it was picked up by OSM 8 days ago and hasn't moved since. This package orriginated 2 states away, a 2-4 hour drive. when I reached out to OSM I got a generic response and was given no help. if you see that OSM is going to handle your package request a different shipping method. A quick google search will reveal that OSM has a one star rating on every review platform and has nothing but negative reviews and horror stories. If you are a business DO NOT WORK WITH OSM! Allure sent my beauty box through them on Jan. 1st. It's now the 15th and it's just been sitting at a USPS "Partner Facility" in Plano, TX (37 miles from me) since January 6th. That's 9 days(and counting). To get a package that should have been here in 3 days had it been send directly through USPS. (Also, I got a second box from allure mailed to me on 1/11 that is now sitting at this same so called partner facility in Plano since Monday. Have a feeling that's gonna sit there a while also.) One Stop Mailing got my package in Illinois within 2 days of my order with SuperBookDeals via Amazon. They first sent it to Pennsylvania (!) then back to Illinois, then to their facility in Plano, TX, about 100 miles from my home. It then SAT there for 5 days! The package finally arrived at the very end of the ridiculously-long 7-day delivery window, 3 whole days after I went out-of-town for the birthday party where this was supposed to be a gift! It's clear that they redirect everything to Glendale to redistribute in bulk to different regions to consolidate overhead. Think of it as "I have to run errands downtown, so I'll wait until I have a bunch to do all at once." If you live west of Glendale, order from people in the opposite direction--like the west coast. Have not recieved my package as of yet. Has been being held by OSM for over a week now. Despite the faq section saying packages leave their facility after 2-5 days. Any time I have tried to track the packagage or see why it's not moving I get a technical difficulties message. I would love it if someone explained to me why it is I order a book from a company in Phoenix, AZ (and I live in Tucson, AZ) that book has to leave this state and visit 3 or 4 others. Thus far One Stop Mailing has sent my book: 4 Hours West in the opposite direction to GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL From there it traveled 11 Hours East to YORK, PA (which is 5 1/2 hours to the East of me), and it's been sitting in York, PA for the last three days. I often order books online. Most of the time recently they seem to go through USPS's "shipping partner," OMS. When they are received by OMS, they sit in OMS's facility for days or weeks without updates. This is apparently okay with them & USPS, because they can say that most packages are delivered "within 1-5 business days after they are shipped." This is still an extremely long time if the package being sent to me originates in Fort Myers, the town where I live, & then is sent 126 miles north to Tampa, then to the notorious USPS Ybor City Distribution Center, then travels back and forth between Tampa & Ybor City several times (Ybor City is in Tampa), then is finally put on a truck to return to Fort Myers. I also wonder what this system is doing for global warming? The packages do eventually arrive, but I don't understand why USPS calls this company a "partner." read more

One Stop Mailing is an ironically accurate name for this company: it seems to make one stop, and then your item simply STOPS. One stop, end of the line. What I ordered nearly three weeks ago took about two weeks to get to a standard USPS transfer point, just across the Hudson River from me, It has remained there for about 5 days now, where the USPS apparently has One Stop's tracking number but is still awaiting the item. I could have walked there and back, across the George Washington Bridge (a wonderful and amazingly scenic walk: on a clear day you can see the Tappan Zee Bridge 20 miles north) in perhaps two days at the very most, with time for meals and an overnight stop at one of New Jersey's world-renowned motels. Yet One Stop Mailing, after almost five days, has not yet made it available to the USPS, which would have had it here three days ago. I really would like to re-read James Joyce's Ulysses at some point before I die, but, alas, Leopold Bloom and Stephen Dedalus seem to be stuck in Secaucus NJ. Even THEIR journey only took twenty-four hours on June 16, 1904. I believe Dante Alighieri had special place for One Stop in the Inferno, but can't decide which circle it is. read more

They promptly sent it 1100 miles north to their hub in Glendale Heights IL. So the book, assuming it finally gets here, will have traveled an entirely unnecessary 2200 miles. read more

I do a lot of buying off Biblio and eBay from independent booksellers and there's a few on there who use them. I mainly try to steer clear of them now because of how ridiculously bad their ship times are. Literally my package went from Texas to Illinois, and now it's on its way down to Florida. Had the book seller dealt directly with USPS I'd have my book in hand already, but nahhhh. As for Amazon, I've never seen an actual shipment from Amazon use OSM, only third-party sellers.
