Color me surprised that I am not only writing a review for the USPS, but it is positive. I needed some stamps to have on hand to mail out the postcards I will be sending to my Yelp folks. This place was on the way to an off-site meeting, so I stopped in. As I walked through the revolving door, I was immediately greeted in a very pleasant manner by a woman who was helping a gentlemen with a Priority envelope. She asked if she could help me with a request and what I was in need of. I said stamps and she directed me to the front counter, where I was again pleasantly greeted by the woman behind the counter. She asked how she could help me, I said I needed stamps and she proceeded to ask me what kind I wanted. She showed me the different types I could get and I made my choice. I was in and out in less than 5-7 minutes. Both complimented on my outfit, which was cute by the way. And they both wished me a great day. Gotta say the customer service was crazy great for a government agency, especially the USPS. Didn't see that sh*t coming #colormesurprised #makinggovernmentagenciesniceagain

I never have a problem when I go into the Post Office. Other's have issues, but if you know exactly what you want to accomplish before you go in, there's no problem. They're not the happiest workers there, but they get the job done. This time I went in for forever stamps and I was in and out in probably under 5 minutes, while others were still filling out the paperwork. Best route is to purchase your labels online and then you can hand directly to your mailman/woman at your doorstep. I've even left notes asking the postmaster to take the package from my doorstep. Never any problems. Like I said before the office location itself is no glamorous place to work, so I can understand how they're not the happiest people. I'm sure they deal constantly these days with everyone who doesn't know how to mail items and I can see how that be frustrating, I'm sure. Props to my mailman though and also know another mailman in Melrose who delivers to our business and he's fantastic and happy as well!

Probably the best experience I've had at a postal office! 3 employees, with no line and all were very kind helping.

Went in today to discuss a delivery issue. Spoke with the supervisor, Dominique. She could not have been more helpful and kind.

One Stop Mailing - USPS tracking tool. Note identity of "shipping partner"

OSM Worldwide is the incarnation of One Stop Mailing in the guise of a "shipping…read moreconsolidator"...meaning a company that will do the presort work and sit on parcels until they have enough to bulk deliver to USPS. Beware: their tracking is a bald-faced lie, the company lies about parcel status, Customer Service copies and pastes boilerplate from the website when inquiry is made. Different Customer Service agents give wildly different reasons for delays, and use phrasing like, "Hopefully, it will be delivered by...", and "It appears to be lost in transit...", none of which gives hope that their "data-driven" service is any less fictional than their parcel status reporting. Most recent experience: item shipped 24 July was received in Secaucus, NJ on 27 July...and has now been there for over a month. OSM denies they have it, claims Secaucus is NOT a facility, but just "a zip code." Status shows "Picked up by shipping partner"; guess who "shipping partner" is: OSM Worldwide. Two Customer non-Service reps say " Picked up" doesn't really mean what the entire English-speaking world thinks it means...turns out it means "logged into the system". Who knew? Worst service ever. Screenshot is from 27 August.

Older white woman (don't know her name) was difficult and ignorant to my wishes. I have been there…read moremany times and only one other time did I have an associate help me with a package. Today I had a prepaid label and wanted one of the plastic bags with a seal to ship this. Which I seen someone else had used and i have received one of those for free prior from the other associate. I've never seen this lady before and she said they don't have them and I told here where they were, she said they're not for sale. I'm thinking what that even means because what is the packaging there for then? She tells me whoever gave it to me before was not doing what they were supposed to do because they have no free packaging. I still asked can I purchase it? She said they're not for sale I need to buy bubble wrap or different packaging. It was for a purse... a small leather one already used because I'm a reseller. She's asking if it's a return and if it has a prepaid label which I already told her what I was there for. Clearly not listening to me and not willing to help the customer. I go there all the time to drop off packages with my own packaging for this reason. Today I just wanted a different packaging because I didn't want to use something so big for this item and overall I wasted a whole trip there because she couldn't accommodate what I was asking for. I will be going back with a big box for this small item because of her inconvenience!
