A lot of other technicians in the area did not perform the micro soldering job or charged significantly more than Jay's quote. I decided to have Jay replace a broken screen on another iPad Air 2 I had as well after the initial repair. His quote was again reasonable and I trust his work to be top notch. I went there again for him to fix it. He told me he's getting brand new screens and he'll change it so dropped it off to him to put on a brand new screen. The person that checked me in even helped the person that entered after me (assuming they were friends or from the same country). -- I continued to sit patiently. Eventually, another employee asked if I had been helped. I made it very clear (in a raised tone) that I was in good spirits and wanted to be patient; however, I was about 10 minutes from leaving and switching to Verizon. While replacing my phone screen, the technician damaged the sensors resulting in a blurred screen (see pic). FaceID is also broken. I brought this to the store manager's attention and he said he couldn't fix or replace my phone. Bad business. Pay the extra $40 and have the Apple store repair your device.
