Before we got in the car to do a test drive for 47 minutes there was little to no gas in the car which is unprofessional, and we seen a check engine light on once we got in. We took the car to advance auto part and they claim the car was fine then we went and got gas to head back to the dealership. We paid 1500 down and as soon we drove off the lot only in 4 minutes the car broke down. So, we call Elyse the dealer to come and check the car out because we were promise that the car was fine, she said she be there shortly she with a customer, she arrives 10 minutes later we had our emergency lights on then all of sudden a car rear ended us from the back and my girlfriend is 32 weeks pregnant. Me and my girlfriend had to be transported to the hospital and we spent over night in the hospital. I believe we deserve an apology and let Better Business Bureau handle this matter because we could have died, and we felt we got rob. I'm in the military and I serve this country and been a loyal customer for 2 years and always paid the car note and never miss a single payment for two years, my girlfriend on her end is currently filing a lawsuit, on my end i think they should apologize and make this right.

It was a balmy 95 degree day, when my Jeep's air-conditioning went out during a 7 hour drive. We had a planned stop in Macon GA, as part of our travel itinerary. To my delight, Five Star was only 1 mile away from the hotel. I called them first thing in the morning and explained my situation. At first, I was told Monday was the soonest they could get me in. But when I added that I was traveling through from 700 miles away, They were able to get me in, to diagnose the issue. The service representative who I worked with, really went above and beyond to get me on the road, with little disruption to our travel schedule. While I was waiting for my car to be looked at, I had a great chat with one of their salesmen, who further gave me some travel tips for the rest of my drive. I truly appreciate all the effort this team gave to helping me out.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased a Range Rover in February turns out…read morethat it had a roof leak. Came back seven days later with pictures and video. They said they would fix it. Turns out that after returning to the lot and checking on the status the left the vehicle in the weather including days that it rained, so of course I have pictures and video of that. Told them I was not happy and didn't want the vehicle since they had made no effort to fix it and in fact left it out in the rain after being told it leaked. They then again to get me into another vehicle. They then depreciated the value of the Range Rover that they sold me with a leak and left me upside down in a loan on a Jeep Compass. Not happy with the situation I cut my loss and left. Then because I'm out of state and in Macon due to work, I went home to pay the taxes and get my tag for the Jeep Compass which I'm told is not in my name. Call ALM CDJR Macon and repeatedly get sent to voicemail of the tag clerk and voicemail of management who has full voicemail, so I get no answer. When I finally get someone on the phone, they always state that they will give me a call back which I never receive. Driving with and expired temporary tag I am now frustrated and angry with the treatment. Very upset and always in a time crunch due to the nature of my job I drive to the dealership to see managers and works comfortably seated and relaxed. Knowing that I was upset I left my car running to be in and out as fast as possible so that I wouldn't throw a fit. Tell the manager that I need a resolution and I leave. Not sure how my situation will end but buyer please beware. Also, I'm now looking for a lawyer to seek compensation for the depreciation value that I loss from a car that had a roof leak and the hit on my credit because they did not pay of the Range Rover in a timely manner and I had to continually call and tell them I was getting collection calls for the vehicle that they were to pay off. My next step is to protest in front on their lot with signs until the situation is resolved. They have no idea what they are doing. They even put me in a dirty rental car with the previous customer information and paperwork in it which again I have proof, pictures, and paperwork on. I'm exhausted dealing with this dealership. Never again will I purchase anything from this brand.

She couldn't wait to tell me how unhappy she was with Hutchinson Auto Mall because they'd taken advantage of her. They sold her an expensive service contract yet she just could not get them to honor any of the multiple necessary and very expensive service repairs that started happening very shortly after the purchase. She really didn't even know how much they'd charged her for this service agreement because the finance manager told her, "don't worry about that because it's already included in with your payments.". I asked her to let me look at her finance contract - and HOLY COW - $4,921.00 !!!! Allow me to spell that out !! FOUR THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED, TWENTY ONE DOLLARS . For an $895 worthless service contract. Just so you know, they did offer to cancel it when we asked at the dealership after just a few months of ownership - and they said SURE - they'd give her back $432.00. So. We called the service contract company for an answer repeatedly over a period of several days and were finally told, "Ok, here's the deal. The $432.00 amount was THEIR (the service contract company's) 'rule of 7/8ths' part of the refund... but the dealership also owed my friend the Hutchinson's part of the refund... of $3,078.00 !!!!!!!! She was absolutely mortified to find out that in THIS city and at THIS LATE DATE something like this could still happen to a private citizen. It may not have been out and out CRIMINAL what they did to her ... neither is putting a bullet through your dog's brain just because you were in a bad mood - but it certainly BORDERS on what's legal and/ or ethical. I really do wonder how a prosecutor, judge, and our Georgia court system would look at something like this ? Just do yourself, your family, friends, coworkers, a huge favor and look away... far FAR away... from this dealership. They sold my friend an $895 worthless service contract for almost FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS - would absolutely not calculate the full and honest refund - and then slipped and slid around in their service department and STILL made her pay for all those expensive repairs. Way to go you guys. You took advantage of an old lady with good credit who thought she needed a Cadillac who, after the death of her husband who used to handle all the financial stuff, YOU saw a way to line your pockets. Well done you.

When she finally located one through…read moreHutchinson GMC Cadillac, she engaged in ten full days of communication with their salesman to ensure every detail was in place. We live three hours away, so she specifically asked--multiple times--whether she needed to place any earnest money to secure the vehicle. She was assured "No, it's yours. Come Saturday." We were texting salesperson Saturday am. Based on their word, we drove three hours, only to receive a phone call minutes before pulling into the dealership informing us that the vehicle had been sold. Although the salesperson knew we were driving up to purchase vehicle. No communication whatsoever. This was not an oversight--this was a complete breakdown of professional responsibility. When we arrived, I addressed the salesman directly. To be fair, he seemed inexperienced and poorly trained. The real failure came from the management team. When I asked for a supervisor, I was met not with accountability or an apology, but with an insincere, scripted sales pitch--the kind you hear from someone more concerned with deflecting blame than resolving an issue. I made it clear that what occurred was unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely unacceptable. As we exited, the supervisor called out, "Drive safe going home," with unmistakable sarcasm. That comment alone reflects an astounding lack of maturity, professionalism, and customer respect. Only after we were already two miles down the interstate did the General Manager contact us. And the reason for the call was obvious: he had been informed that I intended to leave a negative review. Suddenly, he was eager to "make it right." Not because he valued us as customers, but because he wanted to shield the dealership from public accountability and protect his year-end customer service metrics. He claimed to have "another XT5 identical to the one you wanted." We returned--only to find a burgundy not white vehicle that was nowhere near what was promised. This was a transparent attempt to pacify us long enough to prevent a negative review. It was manipulative and unprofessional. At no point did the dealership offer: * Gas reimbursement * A meal voucher * A gift card * A sincere apology * Any form of compensation for a wasted six-hour trip Nothing. After causing significant inconvenience, they provided zero effort to correct their failure. I work in public service. If we inconvenienced citizens like this, we would immediately provide support--fuel cards, meal vouchers, whatever was necessary--to make it right. The fact that Hutchinson Cadillac did not speaks volumes. This dealership may have inflated online ratings, but it only takes one experience like ours to reveal the truth: Hoskins GMC Cadillac is mismanaged, poorly trained, and prioritizes protecting its image over practicing integrity. To the General Manager: Your reactive, review-driven approach to customer care is not leadership. It is damage control. And it is obvious. We will never do business with this dealership again. Anyone considering it should understand that you are taking a gamble with an organization that has demonstrated a willingness to break promises, waste customers' time, and hide behind polished ratings rather than deliver genuine service.
